It was also enjoyably spicy. I didn’t use any of the sauce except when I was left with just some rice at the end. I’d get it again for sure.“

“We just noticed a new restaurant by Macey’s, so we decided to try it. It was delicious! Not too sweet like other Chinese restaurants. We got the Changs Food Fried Rice, Beef with Broccoli, and Chop Suey with chicken. We added the red sauce on the table to our food. It was really good! Very fresh.“

“I was visiting Utah with family and found this place. Service was phenomenal. We got a K-dawg, 4 Cupbops and a Mega Mandoo. I found out after ordering that the 4 Cupbops and Mega Mandoo is part of a group meal which is much cheaper and I didn’t see until after ordering. I brought it up to them and the refunded and recharged the meal and gave me the K-dawg for free. Even after leaving a generous tip it saved me $15.00. If I could give 6 stars for service I would. Food was great. If you don’t regularly eat spicy food recommend starting at a 5 and moving from there. Highly recommend this place.“

“Yesterday June 28 was my birthday "55". My first time visiting this restaurant. I went with 3 of my grannies princess. OMG...Mery young female was my host,my checker help me go back and forth explaining the menu "she had patience" with so great enthusiastic. Very friendly. Then there was a young male named Henry ..he also assist and help with my menu selection,very friendly. I mentioned to Mery that it was my birthday, Which I pick this place to treat myself for the whole family. While waiting for my take out order my grannies were by this big and beautiful fishtank and of course, asking for change .25 for these other toy machines. When grabbing order to go..Mery called me...surprised me with this sweet single 3 leches slice cake ,a candle and a sticky note. "Feliz Cumple" I cried,who would of expect this. She ask me for a hug,and ask her for a Selfie. Til my car she assisted me. And then Henry steped.out front door... "Very Welcome,huge smile" FOOD WAS DELICIOUS I highly recommend this place. And for sure will be back.“

“Title: Pei Wei — The Tooth-Saving Heroes of Sandy

My wife and I went to Pei Wei today at the 10373 S State St, Sandy, UT location. I ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl, and my wife went for the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. First off, super yummy. Like, “I’m already planning my next visit” yummy.

But then came The Crispy Rice Stick Incident of 2025.
The lettuce wraps came with these rice sticks that were so hard, I swear if I had tried to chew them, my dentist would’ve been planning a Hawaiian vacation off my bill. Luckily, Pei Wei’s team stepped in like the customer service Avengers, remade the wraps without the tooth-traps, and did it for free.

Also — and this is a rare unicorn in modern dining — there was no pre-tip line at the register when I prepaid. This is the restaurant equivalent of finding an extra nugget in your Chick-fil-A box. Instant bonus points.

All in all, the food was great, the customer service was stellar, and my teeth remain intact. In this day and age, it’s not easy to find a place where you can get a great meal and not have to worry about something going sideways.

But, the staff made great suggestions and were incredibly kind. I ended up getting the orange chicken combo which comes with fried rice, wan tans, and soup. “The fried tofu at 7.5 spice is very mild. Good flavor, but if you're looking for more heat I'd say 9 is a better option. It's closer to Sriracha, but not too spicy yet. The apple and strawberry flavored milkies are also pretty good and not odd tasting. The Korean corn dogs are best served with corn flakes, and the all cheese weighs a decent amount. Overall, good value and the taste is worth the price.“
