“Very nice and quaint. I love German food, but some of the dishes had a bit of a twist to them. It was a lot of food and the price was a bit steep. The beers were spot on I just wasn't used to German pasta salad warm and with ground beef in it along with the leek and potato soup. It was served hot as it should have been, but adding ground beef to the soup for me was weird.Parking: Only a few places out front to park and the small parking lot adjacent also have a business that's posted. Very tight.“

The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food was absolutely fantastic! I would highly recommend and can't wait to return for more culinary delights!“

“This is the place to come with a large group of people. They have a separate room, and dedicated staff to take care of the group of you call ahead and reserve. The service was great, the food was good and they served the group of 50 with no issues. Thank you to all the staff.“

“The food was absolutely fantastic, the Philly was top notch with REAL jalapeno the UTOG burger, can be claimed as easily one of the best burgers that I have had the privilege of enjoying! Fresh thick cut bacon, and fresh beef! Will return! For sure!Only criticism would be......please please put some damn tequila in your margaritas, for the price paid for the Paton marg, tasted more like plain margarita mix“

“I just got takeout at the Layton Hugs and my experience was great. I got the Chicken Cranpeno sandwich, which was really good, but the service was amazing. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. She made my visit stand out.My sandwich included fries and slices of their beer bread. Everything tasted great.“

“Popular place! We had to wait about fifteen minutes for a table at lunch time. We ordered large dinners--grilled salmon with new potatoes and salad/chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, and steamed broccoli. We couldn't pass up their huge yommy chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. Tanner was a great server and had good food suggestions. He kept our drinks refilled.“

“We have never been disappointed with the food here and as usual it was great. The wow factor this time was Mackenzie, she was the perfect server. She was taking care of the entire room and doing so efficiently and with a friendly attitude. She never got frazzled , and answered our questions promptly. She was quite the professional but very sweet and nice. We eat out a lot and she's one of the best servers I have seen in a while. Good job having wait staff of this high caliber. 5 stars all around. The nachos and Brussels were perfect. The service is stellar and absolutely no complaints. We can't wait to come back !“

“I was in town to see my daughter and she decided to take me to the lighthouse lounge as another place that we were going to go to was completely overcrowded and was just not going to be a place that was going to be enjoyable. the music was excellent it wasn't overcrowded it was an undercrowded it was just a great time the only downfall that I see in the place is how the bills on the drinks We're written up I didn't quite understand how you'll have a name of a drink and then you add the liquor and then you add something else to it instead of just having one price so that I just didn't understand. we had the Fried pickles and those were amazing. I had lemon drop martinis and I will say that they were extremely small and the glasses weren't wiped down so they were extremely sticky from them making the drink. but overall we had a great evening and I can't complain.“

“Great food and great service. Prices are reasonable and a good selection of beer on tap. Not too bad of an establishment, but on a game day I'm sure this place is pretty packed. Tucked away business in BDO so kind of tricky to find but worth finding it for some good food and a beer. Their wings are amazing!!!Kid-friendliness: It's a restaurant so kids are welcome.“

“Very cute, small locally owned restaurant. The menu is small but good. It's simple food, simple ingredients but good food. I loved it. The staff is amazing. I'm sure this place will be really busy when thr airport gets the new airline. Currently as of Jan 6th 2024 the building is under construction so you now enter in the back of the building. It looks unassuming and not much like a restaurant until you get inside. Recommend it for sure. We will be back to try some other options on the menu.Vegetarian options: If you eat eggs there are vegetarian options for you.Wheelchair accessibility: Does have a wheelchair ramp in the back of the building (which as of Jan 6 2024 is the entrance to the restaurant).“

“I used to go to the Ogden location and haven't been to the Layton spot for quite some time. A group of friends (6) and I had reservations at 7 and they got us right in. Our server was awesome, a cute Japanese lady, who had a strong accent, wrote down the specials and would show us them on paper as she described them. She was so fun with a great attitude, she would kind of sing back our orders as we gave them to her. I commented on how much I liked this and so she sang just about everything after that. She was great, wish I'd caught her name. We ordered three appetizers to start and they were all very good. The deep fried cheese curds with Louisiana and a mildly spicy fry sauce was excellent. Nachos with chili verde on top was very good and one of their specials, garlic, parmesan, wings, that were also very good. For entrees I ordered the Pesto penne pasta and added bacon and chicken. It was really quite good but may have been a little bland without the bacon, so I'm glad I added it. My wife ordered the raviolis and thought it was great. She thought hers was better than mine, and I thought mine was better than hers. This is a good thing as we were both satisfied and pleased with our orders. Sorry no pictures, but Roosters was a good choice on a Saturday evening with friends.“

“This place seemed to be a special local joint unique to Ogden area! I know there is one other location but we went to this one while in Roy. We loved the onion rings and my husband liked the burger. I actually got the Greek salad because it looked great and I was surprised to see this type of thing offered on the menu. I enjoyed it! We ate inside and it was kind of like eating inside any other typical fast food place.“
