“I absolutely loved uncle hot pot, The waitress was so nice. She went out of her way to explain everything to us. If you had a question she was there to answer it and all around the atmosphere in the place was so “Mom and pop” I felt right at home. It is a great spot in Salt Lake City and has a lot of culture that I love to experience. I highly recommend going in with an open mind, cause there are a lot of ingredients I’ve never tried before, and was pleasantly surprised by along side lots of delicious food I am accustomed too. Not only that, but it’s quite the cheap bite Only $30 per person for all you can eat alongside a bunch of appetizers that you normally have to pay extra at any place else! 10/10 I will be coming back.“

“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.“

“Went here with some friends a few weeks ago and absolutely LOVED it, everything is at the buffet except the main meats so the vegan in our party had a great time. Also, little to not risk of food waste as you can get only as much as you want. Flushing is very cool and it was a great time“

“Mr’s D’s has the freshest veggies and the best broth out of all the personal hot pot restaurants in the city.

I was blown away by how delicious and refreshing the soup base is, they're light, not heavy or oily, and is made in-house. The veggies and meats are fresh and taste amazing. My sausages were cut into shapes of tiny octopus which was adorable. The sauce station, snacks, and the free rice are an added bonus as well.

I've stopped by once every other week, even when as the weather gets warmer. This is such a great spot and a hidden gem!“
