“Tonight my family went to Manoil’s. Wow. What a joy. I can’t recall what these dishes were called so beautifully on the menu—but I’ve tried my best in being simple in describing them. We ordered the risotto, orzo, lamb, octopus, olives, potatoes, and arugula salad. Every single thing was so freshly prepared, dressed, and cooked to invite delight. Thank you so much.“

“The FOOD was even better on a lunch special price. It had all of this pictured (Haiku) and miso soup to start. I left feeling so full and filled with quality food. The service was efficient, friendly, and consistent throughout the lunch. The atmosphere was perfect with natural lighting and cultural touches throughout the restaurant. 10/10 recommend! I'll be sure to be back for the dinner on a date night.“

I love the atmosphere, the decorations, the community, and their values proudly on display, but my favorite thing is the milkshakes! it's so nice to have a milkshake and fries again. Once you’ve been there a couple of times they remember you and pretty much know what your “usual” is. Dennis, the owner, has been there a few times when we were there and he always comes over to say “thank you for coming in.” He even covered our bill one time when he found out we are Veterans. “my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.“

“Ok this place is legit. We just got take out but we'll be going back and having brunch there for sure. My friend got the French toast meal. Straightforward regular French toast. No bells or whistles, just really good bread dipped on a really good custard base and pan fried. Scrambled eggs were perfect and the bacon looked amazing. The fact that she was almost euphoric while eating it says it all.
I got the corned beef hash. OMG. Best corned beef hash I've had in a long time. Chunks of homemade corned beef shredded among potatoes, Bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. And over easy eggs that even after a nearly 10 minute drive home still had runny yokes. The only way it could have been better would have been to eat there and indulge in some should beverages with our brunch. 10/10 will be making this a regular brunch location.
Like I said we did take out, but the atmosphere makes us want to go back and never leave.“

“I come in a couple times week to either there yummy asiago Bagel with cream cheese, or their tuscan chicken sandwhich with fries. I just tried their Chipotle pepper jack cheese burger, and was so delicious, and my work had their clam chowder that was also so delicious. Highly recommend!!“

“Maybe the best pizza I've ever had? Got the Cardiac Arrest and it was honestly just exactly what I want pizza to be. I love a wood fired crust, and the atmosphere was trendy and low-key. The server was friendly but not bothersome and it was all very reasonably priced. I'm definitely going again while I'm in SLC.“

“Our new go-to wing place in Sugarhouse. The spice levels just increase the amount of cayenne pepper. To really kick it up add ghost pepper or reaper to any of the wet sauces! Don't skimp out on the habanero ranch for dipping those cajun waffle fries in. Yum!“

“I've been here several times, always a treat, and have never left a review. Located in great part of town, just love 9th and 9th. The gelateria itself has just an assortment of arts and ceramics and decorations. The seating area is super cozy. Some tables and chairs and some couches - that could swallow you whole if you let them they are so squishy. The gelato is great, very creamy. I think the best gelato in Salt Lake. The serving size is great too, they usually pack it in and over the top of the cup. Thanks to the owners and workers of this shop!“
