“Stumbled upon this gem on our way to The Ruth last night. The service was great and our food was incredible! It was so fresh and piping hot. The gyoza were crispy perfection and I loved my sweet and sour chicken bowl. I live over an hour away and I will happily be making the drive just to eat here again!“

“I have always experienced amazing customer service at this restaurant but this location in particular is just excellent. I ordered a soup to go & made a unique customization. When I arrived to pick it up I was greeted by a very nice employee named Marcos. He explained to me that they don’t carry that customization anymore & asked me how I would like to move forward with my order. “We wanted to wait until you got here so that you can get what you want.” & then he walked me though the other options, made suggestions to get me a similar result, gave me a sample of what I was getting to make sure I liked it, & top of that he gave me a free drink for the inconvenience. “Brady - the Manager at your location off of Amity in Meridian Idaho did an excellent job of Customerservice and represents your brand very well. I came to them with a concern on something that was left out on an order and he went out out of his way to rectify the situation. It’s sad that More companies don’t follow his lead into taking care of their clientele. I will be a return customer based off of this experience.“

“I was visiting Utah with family and found this place. Service was phenomenal. We got a K-dawg, 4 Cupbops and a Mega Mandoo. I found out after ordering that the 4 Cupbops and Mega Mandoo is part of a group meal which is much cheaper and I didn’t see until after ordering. I brought it up to them and the refunded and recharged the meal and gave me the K-dawg for free. Even after leaving a generous tip it saved me $15.00. If I could give 6 stars for service I would. Food was great. If you don’t regularly eat spicy food recommend starting at a 5 and moving from there. Highly recommend this place.“

“I have been going to Red 8 for several years with family and friends. We always find the sushi to be fresh and delicious. They have unique rolls as well as the standards. We have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. The service is always very prompt and friendly. The managers, Ling and Mike are fun to talk to and they take their food and service very seriously. We of course have our favorite rolls but we always try something different from the long list of unique rolls. We have never been disappointed, and you certainly can’t beat the prices. I’ve eaten sushi around the world and at many Ut county locations but we always keep coming back to Red 8.“

“Checked out Tsunami Sushi Bar recently. We had a big group and made reservations. I don’t think we ended up needing them for a Sunday afternoon, but it was nice to have it just in case. This was my first time here, but I’ve heard great things. I was excited to try it. We ordered the spicy edamame. I loved it. It wasn’t too spicy, which was good. I ordered the Buddha roll with soy paper instead of seaweed. It was soo good! I loved this for a vegetarian roll. A couple people in our group ordered the Honey Badger roll, which is also a vegetarian roll. I really liked this too. It was a lot lighter than the Buddha roll. I’ll have to get this next time. I also had an order of vegetable tempura. These were breaded to perfection! I didn’t love the broth/dipping sauce for these. I felt like it was really bland. I ended up dipping these in soy sauce instead. My boyfriend ordered the Executive Suite Roll & the Fire breathing Dragon Roll. He loved these. He also ordered the gyoza. They were typical gyoza. I left there really full, enjoyed my meal but since I don’t eat fish, it’s hard to compare this to another sushi place knowing I just order the vegetarian rolls. My boyfriend truly believes this place is so much better than other sushi places around. Check it out!“
