“Such a great experience from initial contact through eating the cake and cake pops. The cake turned out perfectly and was so delicious. The cake pops were loved by everyone! Shelby was great to work with, and put up with many mind changes and design questions with such grace. Our now 3 year old was so happy with everything and gave us many “oooh yummy” statements. While the sweet items looked amazing, we were looking for something a little more savory and picked the spinach and cheese, chicken schwarma, and beef pie. All 3 were delicious with the spinach one being my GF's favorite and the beef one with tomato sauce being mine. I really liked all the flavors and enjoyed how soft and flaky the pasta was. Oh the staff was great too as she was able to heat it up right there for us to enjoy!

“Wanted some tahini to make hummus for a party and also some authentic pita bread. Googled med market near me so stopped in. Found the tahini and then Walked around the store for a sec and a gentleman asked what I needed. I told him pita and he went in the back and brought out fresh warm fluffy pita! Delicious! “Someone brought these to a Halloween party and I had to have two. They are twice as big and twice as good as krispy kream (our prior favorite). I will definitely buy some next time I am in the area. They remind me of the spudnuts we used to get many years ago. Be careful. They are addictive!“

“Delicious vegetarian GF (California?) burger with garlic aioli sauce, avocado, vegetarian bacon. I'm not a vegetarian, but stopped by since my daughter can't do either dairy or gluten and so happy we did. This was fabulous!! I've already recommended it to several friends. My daughter had the death by chocolate (super rich indulgence she rarely gets, both GF & DF!) Unfortunately they don't have a dedicated GF fryer for her French fry craving. “This place is the emoji of chef’s kiss ?. I landed in SLC and had a few hours to burn before I get into my day. Pulled up yelp and saw this place close to downtown (it’s a little outside but part of downtown - by the library) and thought should be fine. I was wrong, it was way better than fine.

The shop shared a kitchen with lady flour so the signage is a little confusing but it had a very old school vibe. Anybody who had been into an old school cafe or donut shop will remember the tables. The music and ambiance created a chill environment. A+

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee and talked to the cashier if I could chill for a few hours. He said of course and gave me the WiFi password - service A+.

I take my first bite of my breakfast sandwich - heck yeah it was good. A+

“Carol’s is a favorite of mine and has been since my early days of visiting my Grandparents in Sugarhouse. My grandpa would take me for ice cream and then we’d go to Carol’s for the yummiest eclairs on the planet. He was always friends with everyone and the owners of this place were no exception. Wheelchair accessibility: I'm always on crutches (I have not had to use my electric chair) and they always bring my cookies to the car for me. All the stores I have visited have plenty of room to accommodate my chair if needed.“

“This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

“Went once in the afternoon, smelled good but was around 630pm so I figured there wouldn’t be a lot and told them I pass by here everyday for work and will be back… well I figured a bakery would be open for the commute. It’s a great spot for people on the west side going to work on the east but then I saw they open at 9am??? I’m sad I’ll never get to try them again! Closed or slim picking by my off time. Misses opportunity for sure.“

“I just moved here from Florida last winter and during such I was looking for a local bakery for that “every now and again treat”. After a few trips I have gathered that between the extremely friendly service, the delicious baked goods, and the surprisingly scrumptious chicken salad on cheddar pretzel roll...this place is an amazing gem for the citizens of North Salt Lake/Bountiful/Woods Cross. Every time I go in I feel like a kid who just got handed $10 and a free pass from the tooth fairy. Love it!“

I recently visited Granary Bakehouse and tried both their croissant and scone, and I have to say, the croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had. Having been to hundreds of bakeries across North America and Europe, this one stands at the top. The croissant is incredibly flaky with layers that melt in your mouth. They found a solution for us, because they didn't have our regular rolls. “Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“
