“Had a fantastic meal here recently! The green chili goat cheese queso with tortilla chips was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the wedge salad had a little spicy kick that made it extra fun. Drinks were a highlight too: the Bishop cocktail was sweet and smooth, and the Prickly Pear Moscow Mule gave a clever twist on the classic mule—both hit the spot. For mains, we tried the Green Chili Navajo Taco and the Bison Burger. Fresh, flavorful, and just the right portion size—plenty to enjoy but not so heavy that you feel stuffed. “We ate the most creative and divine food last night at Communal. The portions are big and they are for sharing. The new summer salad with fresh peaches and corn was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The blend of flavors was absolutely amazing. Had I known how delicious it was beforehand I would have just ordered that for dinner. My husband and I shared the Greek chicken, crispy fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots with pistachios. Wonderful homemade rolls were served while we awaited our dinner. “I was on-campus today doing a photo shoot for an old friend and classmate from BYU and for old times sake, we grabbed a bite at the Cougareat. This place has improved by 500% since the last time I stopped in for a meal...which was in 1996, the year I graduated. It’s great to see all of the franchise offerings along with BYU food services options. I’m not a fast food patron on the outside so I skipped it here also and went straight for a salad but if I was still a student at BYU, I would be stoked to have some comfort food available w/o leaving campus. Nicely done BYU! PS: The plethora of soda offerings with caffeine is the cherry on top. 😁👍🏻“

“Station 22 was a really enjoyable stop for us. The place has a warm, rustic feel with a comfortable hometown vibe that makes you want to sit back and relax. It’s a great mix of casual and polished, perfect for a laid-back dinner or weekend brunch.

We tried a few Southern-style dishes, and the flavors were bold and satisfying. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the sides had that homemade touch. Portions were generous, and everything came out nicely plated. You can tell they focus on comfort food done right.

Service was welcoming and attentive. It did get a little busy while we were there, so there was a slight wait between courses, but nothing that ruined the experience.“

“Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀“
