“As always, food first. I'm usually disappointed in ramen (and most meals, in all honesty) from Utah, but I happened to be hungry and in the neighborhood so I figured I'd give Sukihana a shot.
Like most Japanese inspired restaurants, Sukihana is sushi forward, but nothing hits quite like sushi from Japan itself. It was a bit nippy and ramen broth is the perfect complement at all hours, so I ordered a side of miso soup and edamame alongside miso ramen.
Generous portions, although the miso soup was rather weak and rubbery, and the edamame as edamame as it comes, so I didn't have high expectations. The ramen, however, wasn't too shabby: simple, but flavorful. The char siu was seasoned well with a lovely char (hah) and did fall apart (as they should when cooked properly and as a quality cut). I also enjoyed the addition of corn and soft tofu, a rare treat. The ramen noodles didn't have much time to soak up the flavor from the broth but were nevertheless the right texture and appropriately chewy. The broth itself was much better than the miso soup--rich and layered if unbalanced in proportion to the other ingredients.
I ordered too much for my appetite, but liked the broth enough to take the leftovers. Yin was an excellent server and took the time to box up my take home right at the table; 2pm on a Tuesday is a very late lunch, after all.
I'd be willing to stop by again if I'm in the area.“

“Tasty ramen in the woodbine food hall in downtown, near the EVO campus. Went for lunch during a Holiday weekday, so it was kinda empty. I'm from NYC where there are lots of great ramen places, and prices were similar and so was the quality and taste. Ordered the tonkatsu pork and spicy miso ramen, and both were great. Come and give it a try!“

“As someone who proudly considers themselves a true vegan ramen connoisseur 🍜🌱, I can confidently say that Koyote serves the best vegan ramen in Salt Lake City. Every time I go, it absolutely delivers. Their tantanmen is next-level — rich, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and it hits every single time 🔥😍 You can taste the quality and care in every bowl.
Pair it with a cold Dr Pepper 🥤 and you’ve got what might honestly be one of the greatest meal combos on earth. The broth is deep and satisfying, the noodles are cooked just right, and the toppings bring everything together beautifully.
The overall quality of the ramen here is outstanding, and if the rest of the menu is anything like the tantanmen, I’m sure it’s just as amazing. You really can’t go wrong ordering anything here. Absolute must-visit for ramen lovers! 💯✨“

“I’ve been to Ichiro Ramen House last Friday and definitely recommend it!🍜 The broth is rich and flavorful, the dishes are in big portion and fresh, and the atmosphere is warm. It’s a great spot to bring someone visiting — I think my friends from California enjoyed it! 😄👏“
