“I absolutely love Cafe Shambala and highly recommend stopping by! Every time we host family or guests visiting, we bring them to eat here. Both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu are delicious. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.“

As you can see from the attached pictures, they loved the experience and will remember it for years to come. They were delighted to have their own teapot and special childrens menu.. “We were very satisfied with both the service and the food, and it was overall a delicious and fun experience.

However, I wanted to bring a significant issue to your attention. It was extremely hot inside the restaurant, with the room temperature appearing to be around 84 degrees. The heat was so uncomfortable that for our team and could not stand it and had to leave early.

While we enjoyed the meal, the temperature was a major problem for our group. I hope this can be addressed for future events.“

“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. “Had lunch here with the family. I've never been to Germany but the food was delicious and others in our party said that it was very authentic German food. I had the schnitzel with sauerkraut and a tomato and cucumber salad and my wife had the borsche which was kind of a cold soup made with beets and other vegetables and some kind of a cream sauce. She also ordered German potato salad. They had a variety of different desserts and there was a full deli with all the different European cheeses and cold cuts. Attached to the deli was a little grocery store that had all imported foods and candies. The ordering process was a little unfamiliar and therefore kind of chaotic for us but once we got our food we were pleasantly surprised at its quality and reasonable price. We would definitely go back here again. 😋“

“I absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to come back!! We started with the spring rolls and also the 4 Seasons rolls and they were amazing! For lunch I had the S1 Pho and my husband and the Curry fried rice again amazing! We finished our meal with the Vegan Flan and omg sooo good!!! I ordered the Bún Bò Huế (spicy Vietnamese beef noodle soup), which was rich, aromatic, and full of tender meat, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles. The broth had a wonderful balance of savory, spicy, and comforting flavors that made every bite satisfying. My husband chose the Bánh Mì Thịt (Vietnamese sandwich with seasoned meat), and he loved the combination of flavorful meat, crisp pickled vegetables, fresh herbs, and the perfectly toasted baguette that provided just the right amount of crunch. Our daughter ordered the Cơm Heo (rice served with pork), which was beautifully presented and featured tender, well-seasoned pork served alongside fluffy rice and fresh vegetables that she thoroughly enjoyed.

To accompany our meal, we also ordered a Matcha Boba Tea (green tea milk tea with tapioca pearls). It was smooth, creamy, and refreshing, with a rich matcha flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. The chewy boba pearls added a fun texture and made it the perfect drink to enjoy alongside our food.

Everything we ordered tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were generous. Combined with the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere, it made for a wonderful dining experience. “Hubby and I stopped in for lunch for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. He had French Dip and fries and I had one of the Four Corners (Mexican) lunch specials. Really delish! Alice’s is located in a very industrial area but the interior is quirky, fun, and relaxed. Great service. I’d recommend it! I’d love to try their breakfast sometime. Looks like they’re open until 2:00 pm with strong breakfast and lunch options.“

“My daughter and I were just traveling through Salt Lake City and stopped to have a snack at the Corner Brew Pub in the B terminal of the airport. We were greated by the manager, who started us off with waters and our drink order from the moment he sat us. He was delightful, had a great smile, and was clearly happy to pitch in! Our server, Sarah, could not have been sweeter! She checked in on us often, made sure we were well taken care of, and had such a lovely presence!

“This place used to be my favorite burger place in Salt Lake. Perhaps its my memory, but it seems like the crown burger was better. I wanted the pastrami to be saltier. The burger is $9 and that doesn't include fries or a drink. Why do t they just make a meal option and add a few dollars rather than have you buy everything a la carte. It seems excessively expensive this way. Its still better than all other fast food places. Its still a funner place to eat than any other fast food place. Awesome location if you are in the temple area.“
