“My husband and I were in town for a concert later in the day, and wanted to explore the city a little. We both were excited to bet on lunch for whoever could win bowling haha.

We walked in from the main entrance, were greeted and asked if we wanted 21 or over or family. We live in Las Vegas so for us that was new. However, I appreciated that because, then we could be in an environment with similar interests.

We were able to get a drink quickly, and our waitress stopped by a few times. They had the Sunday football game on in the bar section, and that was nice to see; as we hadn’t seen many local bar vibes on our drive.

We also really enjoyed the fact that it was bowl by the hour. Because it was bowl by the hour they had mini game versions of bowling. We played the angry birds version, Halloween version, and robots version. That really made the hour worth it because the mini games were 5 frames instead of the 10. They also added an additional virtual reality vibe to such a classic activity.

Overall, this place was good for a day time excursion. I’m not so sure how it would be at night, but we loved driving through the town and visiting a local hobby place. I also loved that it was a little off the highway, so we could see what some of the day to day city life looked like on a Sunday.“

“Really love The Brickyard in Millcreek. It’s an easy go-to spot to grab a drink, watch a game, play some pool, or just hang out with friends. The staff is great, the food hits the spot, and it’s always a comfortable place to spend a few hours. Just a solid, reliable neighborhood spot.“

“One of my favorite bars. The staff are cool and friendly. Chill vibe, pool tables, partially-covered patio with fire and games, good beer (their Murderbrew is a REALLY good copper ale), and good bar food. Especially their burgers. Highly recommend their Reuben Egg Rolls. We have to get them every time! They have some vegetarian options, like cauliflower wings (not sure if they're vegan, call to make sure).

“Good news and bad....
Good is that I recommend it for sure, service was great and food was very good too, but if you're looking for a legit Irish pub, this isn't it (I asked about a Kilkenny and the waitress was clueless, no peas with the fish and chips, etc.). Also, music was heavy metal which isn't my thing, but at least you could talk to your mates despite it. I'd definitely come back, but I hope the soundtrack is better.“

“After landing in Salt Lake, I was really craving a heavy, filling sandwich, and this place delivered. The wrap was super satisfying and didn’t disappoint at all. The server got the customization exactly right, and the wrap had just the right amount of crispiness. Overall, a really great experience. Would definitely come back.“

“This is a Real Bar! They have an excellent selection of house cocktails, but can execute any classic cocktail with ease. Domestics and imported beers are at the ready, as is Underberg. I am chuffed to have sidled up to this bar while passing through town.“

“I came in to apply for a job and T the manager on duty was so friendly , prompt with all her customers, she took my application and was so truthful upfront. I liked her attitude and frontness …. We were forced to sit at the bar as tables sat empty for reservations. During our visit we had a drink and a salad and not a single table was seated be the time we were done and left. “This bar for 21+ is a legend of a local hangout with 4 pool tables, multiple draft beers, and a small outdoor area.
The bartenders are fun and make great cocktails.
There is no food made here, so they allow you to bring in outside food or even have food delivered to yourself here.
The bar has been refurbished with fresh paint and beautiful flooring, along with new felt and leveled tables as of May 2025.
There is music via AMI jukebox with the app or can use cash to play tunes.
It's a fun place to meet up with friends.

If you’re looking for a great LGBTQ+ spot in SLC, Milk+ should be at the top of your list! I had so much fun there. I plan on celebrating my birthday there with my friends and family next month.“
