“Every time I go to village in I get greeted by Hailey and she always has a big smile she sits me down at my table and ask me what I would like to drinks and she brings a o me fast and professional and give me extra napkins she takes my food order and it usually fast with the food comes out the way I order it and she good with the refills too. “The park cafe is my go to every Sunday without fail. Everything on the menu is amazing. I moved away for a few years and the only thing I missed in Salt Lake City was The park cafe and the Cathedral of Madeleine. It’s not just the best breakfast in SLC it’s the best breakfast period. The staff is amazing they make you feel like family.

“Absolutely amazing food and wonderful service. Both times I have been there, the waitress has been friendly, patient, and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. But the food tops it all! Close to authentic flavors and great ingredients. The menu has food ingredients and descriptions in English, so don't be afraid to try something new.“

“This place is the emoji of chef’s kiss ?. I landed in SLC and had a few hours to burn before I get into my day. Pulled up yelp and saw this place close to downtown (it’s a little outside but part of downtown - by the library) and thought should be fine. I was wrong, it was way better than fine.

The shop shared a kitchen with lady flour so the signage is a little confusing but it had a very old school vibe. Anybody who had been into an old school cafe or donut shop will remember the tables. The music and ambiance created a chill environment. A+

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee and talked to the cashier if I could chill for a few hours. He said of course and gave me the WiFi password - service A+.

I take my first bite of my breakfast sandwich - heck yeah it was good. A+

“I ordered the sassy cheesy eggs, and my friend, who is vegan, ordered a vegan meal. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. I wish they offered more coffee options since they only have black coffee. Overall, it was a great experience, and I loved everything!“

“Love the food here and the servers are great but after being here for an hour, the manager actually came to our table and told us to leave. Said the wait list is long and we can go to the lobby to socialize. By the way the lobby was nearly empty. We asked to talk to the manager, he said he was it and when we asked if he was serious, he chuckled and said yes. We even left an extra $20 for the server because we knew we’d be here longer. We are a paying table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant - this is not how you treat your customers. Not a good practice to get people to come back. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!“

“This place is so delicious! I got the Thanksgiving feast sandwich and OMG it was amazing! I’m not usually a fan of thanksgiving stuff but it doesn’t taste too overly spiced up and done. And the cranberry sauce that goes with it is so so good. Wonderful atmosphere and fun to hang out and enjoy good food and company. Thank you!!“

“Texas based human here. Always having a hard time finding awesome kolaches in Salt Lake. These are absolutely amazing!“

“One of our all time favorite places. We live a couple hours away so it's difficult to get Kolaches since they are only open in the morning. We stop almost every time we are down in that area when they are open though! I've never tried the savory Kolaches, but we love the sweet ones! We even had them cater our wedding.“

“Went today & the food was delicious as usual. I had the 222 breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 sausages & 2 pancakes. My friend had the steak skillet with the chocolate pancakes. We also had the caramel iced coffee.

“Loved this adorably quaint cafe!! Walking in you immediately notice the unique decor and style. Its set up is similar to most cafes with table seating and the cooking area is visible to all.

The service was excellent!! Sat down and immediately were greeted and brought drinks. Once we ordered our food, it was on our table within about 10 minutes!! We couldn’t believe how quickly it came!! I ordered the French Toast combo while my fiancé had the Cottonwood Special Omelette. Everything came out hot and just as ordered. We were pleasantly surprised by how big the pieces of meat were in the omelette.

Overall, this was a FANTASTIC dining experience!! We went on a Sunday afternoon (walked in around 1:00 PM). We were seated immediately, received fast service, and even though they closed within an hour of our arrival, we never felt rushed. We will be back and can’t wait to try the Club sandwich.“

“Lemon raspberry is sooo good. I have granola and yogurt all the time but add the oatmeal?! Mmm that extra flavor and slightly sticky texture. And the lemon curd with the crunch of granola AND almonds. And all that delicious flavor AND knowing it's a healthy breakfast option!? Yaaaasss, this was so yummy!“

“Very good breakfast with lots of options! We stayed at the hotel and this was a great way to get a quick breakfast with excellent options. Typically buffet with all the usuals. It was nice to have so much fruit and the bacon seemed more premium than some cheaper hotels. Overall very good and servers were helpful and friendly as well.“

The only con I could say was that they had ready to go box lunches available, but there were only 2-3 options and $18.50 a piece which seems steep for a sandwich, chips, cookie and water.“
