“I've patronized this taco truck many times. Every menu item is amazing. It's like you walked up a street side taco outlet in Mexico City. The flavors are authentic, fresh, and delicious. The al pastor burrito is my go-to. It's huge and packed with flavor. For me, it's two meals. If you want to impress friends, a client, or the business executive you work alongside, go for food here.“

“I came here for the first time today, on a Taco Tuesday. I was the only person in line, so chatted with one of the employees for a minute about which tacos he recommended. I ended up getting 3 tacos, one chicken, one pork, one brisket. Service was quick, and everything on the tacos was clearly very fresh.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's exactly what the name says - all the meats were smoked, and in a taco. This is where it's strange for me to give this place 5 stars - frankly the combination of smoked meat and tacos just didn't work well for me personally. However, each of the meats was delicious in their own ways, the taco topping were fresh and flavorful, and I loved that they got a frico cheese edge on a few of the taco shells. This was really good food, especially for the price, it just wasn't exactly what I personally prefer.
I went back and forth about giving it 4 stars because I didn't like the fusion combination, or 5 stars for what was clearly great food and service. I decided to do 5 stars, because I'm convinced a lot of other people will really like smoked meat on tacos and I doubt you'll find that combination done anywhere else better than they do it here.
By the way, 3 tacos was plenty for me. They're regular size tacos but in a street taco style. A lot of people would probably be good with just 2 tacos.“

“Make sure you check out all of the of the day options they have including: the guac of the day, fish of the day, taco of the day, dessert of the day. Lots of good options on the menu, service was quick, the food was delicious, the area was clean and well kept, lots of different shows on a number of TVs throughout the space, quite enough to have a lunch conversation.“

“They have great authentic Mexican food. I love how they let you put condiments on your burrito first and then wrap it afterwards.
Burrito is huge and delicious. I ate a breakfast burrito and 930 and am still full at supper time.

“You really can't go wrong here whether you grab the tacos or a burrito—the food is spot on every single time. Honestly, there is literally another taco truck right around the corner that I’ve never even bothered to try because Don Rafa is so consistently delicious. Definitely my go-to spot!“

“Yum, yum, yum!! Love at first bite for some people newly arrived to Utah and missing authentic eats!! Everything was fresh, the barbacoa, pastor, and carne asada were seasoned very well; the salsas were tasty; and all the vegetables were crunchy and delicious. We will be going back again for sure!!“

“This is the best taco cart in down town slc!I live in West Jordan, and drive all the way to down town to get some tacos! The service is amazing, the workers are super friendly, and the food is so yummy! ? I love the street tacos and the tostadas! But have honestly never ordered something I didn't like! If you love authentic street tacos, this is the cart I recommend!“

“Heard about this place from a friend so we had to try it. We were able to watch them make fresh tortillas the day we were there. They have a great selection of meats for the street tacos as well as other traditional Mexican foods. The meat was plentiful on the tacos and the tamale had a great meat to masa ratio. You are able to choose your salsa spice level. Place was clean and the people were great. Worth a visit.“

“I tried the steak, shrimp, and Al Pastor tacos last week, and they were delicious! And besides it’s taste, the tacos came with a lot of meat or shrimp in it which is not usual, especially with the shrimp. I hardly recommend any food truck or place, but you have to go try these! It’s a MUST! I come from Cali and It’s hard to find a great taco place, but this right here is by far one of my favorites out of 2 places now. Thanks for such yummy food!“
