“I had an early lunch today with a friend at The Burger Shack. Staff was exceptional. The burger cooked perfectly and the fries were awesome and not greasy. We also had a salad with our meal and opted for the house ranch which is homemade in house, delicious! Overall 10 out of 10. “It’s actually called “Beeliner Diner” and OMG I came in looking for something good to eat with a particular sandwich in mind the gentleman told me that this sandwich is no longer on the menu . My level of disbelief was through the roof! But he said let me talk to the chef and I got you .. and boom it took exactly 11 min from order to table which is amazing!!! And the Sandwiches if I could die right here with it in my mouth I would be a happy man!!!!!!!! I love the different taste of there pickles as well being from Florida . We like Dill . But this was nice.“

“My dog was hungry and there was not a close Chick-fil-A, so I took her for her second favorite - Five Guys hot dogs. I do have to say this was the most fun crew I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. Workers were all super friendly, upbeat, smiling, and just having a great time while working hard. “This place is pretty epic. If you want a simple menu and phenomenal food, you should check this place out. As the name implies, the brioche buns make just about any option delicious and waffle fries are a perfect side. Save room for dessert and pray they have a butterfinger cookie left when you get there. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Since discovering this place, it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite burger spots. The staff are very friendly. There’s plenty of free parking. The environment is very casual and comfortable. And the food is delicious. Perhaps my favorite thing there are the sweet potato fries. I ask for them to be extra crispy, and they cook them perfectly. So good with or without the sauce. My first visit I tried the butter chicken sandwich, which was so moist and flavorful. My wife loved her grilled chicken sandwich, and my son had the BEC (bacon egg cheese?). We all had sweet potato fries. Again, a favorite.“

“My daughter and I came on an impromptu brunch and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. Surprisingly it was not overcrowded for brunch hours. Our waiter was incredibly patient and friendly as a first timer. At his recommendation PIZZA! The pizza was even enjoyable for a 6 yr old. I will be back!“

“Okay, one gripe: I asked for a burger with ketchup, and never mentioned pickles. When I got the burger, it had pickles and no ketchup. Not a big deal, I took the pickles off and put some ketchup on it. It was a great burger, as usual. They just need to pay a little more attention. I still put a couple bucks in the tip jar because people have kids to feed.

That being said, great burger, great fries (and still a generous portion), and lots of Diet Coke.

The team at Five Guys Navy Yard is next level! From the moment I walked in, the energy was upbeat, the smiles were genuine, and the service was fast and flawless. The staff clearly takes pride in what they do — they were working efficiently, keeping the space clean, and handling every order like it mattered.

Shoutout to the cooks who keep that grill on point — the burger was juicy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Fries? Crispy, golden, and overflowing just the way we like it. And the cashier was super friendly and helpful — even during the lunch rush, they were calm and courteous.

It’s rare to see a whole team operate like a well-oiled machine, especially during busy hours. The Five Guys Navy Yard crew deserves all the praise — 10 stars without question. Keep doing what you’re doing! 🙌🔥🍔🍟“

“I was so amazed just by walking in how friendly the staff was. The atmosphere was very lovely and as soon as we walked in we had the cashier ask us if we needed any help with the menu. The wait wasn’t bad at all for what we ordered. We got 3 cheesesteaks, Crab fries, Fish, etc.. The food just tased so immaculate! I have no complaints whatsoever and will be returning.“

Well, I wish that I had taken a pic of the 🍔 before I gobbled it down bc the cashier told the truth and nothing but the truth!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😁 I was impressed with the size👀, the quality of the meat, and the nice amount of mushrooms!!! Andddd, it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!😋😋 Now, I have to mention, their lettuce could have been better but not worth taking off a star. 😉 I'm a happy customer! Burger was worth every penny! 😉I will definitely visit again and I most definitely recommend!!! 😁😁

PS - Likely the only reason that it was empty is due to the time of day it was (11:55 am) on a Tuesday. Cashier was nice and friendly and so was the manager (I assume he was the manager). Both were nice and friendly and provided nice service!! ☺️ Nice service is Very Important!

“Bacon double burger: 9/10 The first bite of this burger was full of flavor. I recommend the secret sauce with it. After a car ride home the burger wasn’t much to look at but was great!

About the size of my fist a bit bigger it was a large burger and definitely worth the money for the combo $19 to get the fries and drink included.

4/5 seasoned fries: good but not the star of the show it was crispy and seasoned well.

During lunch I wouldn’t go to this location unless you work in the plaza. Parking was hard to find and $15 for 1 hour if you use the plaza parking.“

“I stopped in one night for a takeout order. I was helped immediately was able to place my order. I got a cheeseburger with everything fries and an Oreo shake. All the food was really good. The burger had a lot of toppings and the fries were huge. I also got a bottle of water which came out to $29. I will say that the food was good but as other of you to point out, this is very expensive for what you get. I’m glad that I ate her, but I would try another place next time.“

“Ben's Chili has been a staple of DC since the 1950s. I love that there is one at the airport. While somewhat pricey, it's actually not too expensive compared to other chili and hotdog places in the region. The food came out quickly, and there is always a line. Definitely try their half smoke and chili cheese fries!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by how much this Shake Shack location has improved! I came here two years ago and didn’t like the service, so I started going to the Wharf location instead. But today changed everything. The food was super fresh, my order came out in great time, and the place was spotless. The team here has really done a full 360 big difference from my last visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to the Navy Yard location from now on.“
