“Nice place with a wonderful shady outdoor space. I didn’t try the pastry, being a contrarian, but had an omelet instead. It was served quickly and well prepared. Staff is friendly, the place is modern attractive, and appeared to be very clean.“

We were invited to a German Christmas Market Themed party — very specific I know… Since it was a potluck, we decided to make currywurst. Heidelberg’s brats for the recipe were so good. We also grabbed their huge soft pretzel (yum) and their curry spread (double yum). Whether you go sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. Love this bakery!“

“Amazing food! This was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine. The service was great—our waitress was very attentive and helped us choose dishes based on our preferences. We ended up sharing a meat and vegetable combo, as you can see here. The bread, paired with the hearty meat and vegetables, was very satisfying. We were only able to finish about half of it between the two of us! This is a great restaurant, and I’d most certainly come again.“

“My Mom and I came here two mornings in a row. The food is delicious whether you’re eating in or on the go. We had an unfortunate situation with another customer who was rather rude and made everyone uncomfortable. Another customer stepped in as did some staff and luckily the situation resolved itself rather quickly. A staff member treated my Mom and I to a donut for each of us and was super apologetic for the unwanted excitement. Besides having good choices for breakfast, they have a nice staff and show that there’s still kindness in the world.“

“Just found the place today. This is, without exaggeration or hyperbole, the best chicken pot pie I have ever had in my entire life. And THEN we had the Tart Cherry with flaky crust for dessert - if it’s not the best I’ve ever had, it’s in the top 3. WOW.“

“I come here pretty much every weekend. They have absolutely one of the best vegan cupcakes. My favorite is double chocolate. Their service is fantastic, nice cozy place. If you are in city, check this place out. You won’t be disappointed at all. Atmosphere is amazing. Never had bad experience here. A must place for cupcakes. They taste good, cost is low.“

“Randolphs has been my favorite bakery for years. The recent changes, sub contracting baking of breads, croissants, etc.,have forced me to go elsewhere. They no longer have the cakes, pastries and breads that made them the best of the best. In addition, the once classic store is crowded with displays of cocoa mix and other items that have nothing to do with the shop’s bakery offerings. I will still go in occasionally for challah, but that is it. They should take down the awning describing the shop as a Patisserie. It’s a bakery but not a patisserie.

“Village Sweets did an amazing job on cupcakes and a large cookie kit for my daughter’s birthday. They were so fast with communication, even after I changed my mind a couple times. They were so accommodating! And everything was beautiful and delicious. The cookie kit was a huge hit! They even opened the shop early so I could pick everything up on time. Amazing. Would buy again! Would recommend to a friend!“

“This place has The BEST eclairs, pastries, cakes and individual quiches I've found anywhere in Northern Virginia! It is my mission to try all their deserts eventually.

They also have mini teapots nestled on top of a cup if you are dining in. The staff are so friendly and remembered me from my first visit there when I came back the next week.

I highly recommend you check them out, you will want to return again and again I promise.

Parking: They have a patio with a few tables where you can sit outside when the weather is nice.“

“1. I live in the neighborhood and frequently visit Tatte. The last few times I’ve been there the front line cashier were not friendly. The young lady who took my order today barely looked at me, she seemed uninterested and bored. This is the second time I’ve experienced this service. I love Tatte, but I can take my business elsewhere, where I feel welcomed. I lived in the area for the past 5 years and all the establishment I’ve frequented have great customer service. Experiencing this type of service of disappointing.

I like the atmosphere, however if they don't treat me well . I'm not coming back.“

“On check in the place was really busy with busloads of kids also waiting for their rooms. At one point I asked the front desk staff if we would be on a floor with the teens as our last experience at a Marriott in the area was not good and I didn’t want a repeat of the same sort of experience. That couldn’t be guaranteed as the kids were pretty much located on every floor. Nothing against kids or teens at all, we had our own teenager and a baby with us. Front desk staff was apologetic for the delay in check in and gave us a discount on parking. We didn’t ask for it, but the gesture was greatly appreciated. The hotel was quiet and the only issue we found was that the breakfast area was quite busy due to lots of hungry teens in the morning, all of whom I should add were very polite and respectful. I would consider staying here again on future trips.“
