“Great place for sushi at the airport. The service is quick and efficient. For a starter, I had the crab wontons which were delicious and had more filling than others I’ve had. For my main, I choose the Chesapeake roll, the crab and cream cheese were excellent. Good drink selection and don’t forget to get some Sake.“

“If you are looking for great sushi in Arlington, you need to try Sushi Garden. The miso was full-bodied, the rolls were fresh and well-structured, and the prices were reasonable. I have found my place for great sushi in Rosslyn. The menu is slightly limited (no gyoza or shumai), but what they have is excellent! I wish I had tried them sooner. You have to look for it next to Royal Barber, but it is worth the trip.“

I’ve been to a few other local sushi places like bluefish bistro and kussi sushi to name a few. They do not compare. The food they have on the menu outside sushi is also delicious. “Sat at the sushi bar, so had dinner and a show. The show was good, the dinner was great. Yume is in an interesting space, open with lots of windows, a high ceiling, and very high energy, read LOUD. This is not your sedate, high-end, reverent sushi restaurant, but a vibrant lively place, which doesn't mean the sushi is in any way inferior. Even at the sushi bar the ordering is through a waitress/waiter not directly with the sushi chefs. That was a slight disappointment, having no interaction with the chefs, but perhaps to be expected with the size of the crowd that was there on Friday night. We ordered in stages because, this being the first time, we did not know how much would be enough. In the end what we ordered was just right. The service was paced just right, never rushed but available when needed. The baby octopus salad was bright and citrusy, and slightly chewy, in a good way. The simple nigiri in the Sushi Dinner, 10 pieces, were very fresh and tasty. The special nigiri we had, Otoro, was imaginative and excellent - wasabi and truffle make a great pairing and the bit of caviar was just the right touch. The Yume roll was top flight, spicy but, to coin a phrase, not too spicy, and the fish did shine through. We will definitely be going back.“

“We dined on a Saturday, which was very busy, as the space is not too large. The main lesson learned is the Diamond level is not worth it, though the food is all quite good. Even if you go with a larger group/ long table, you still only have one grill. This makes it very challenging to cook and feed efficiently, especially with the seafood that takes longer to cook in conjunction with the times seating of 90 minutes. Again, the food was very good across the board, from apps to the me at quality to sides, to dessert. However, we were in a panicked rush the entire meal trying to cook our food. Didn't catch our server's name but she was very pleasant and nice, inefficient in bringing our food and checking in on us. Would come again but for a lower tier.

We had seafood Tom Yum (lots of ascallops plus jumbo shrimp annd fresh squid) and pork drunken noodles, along with a California roll. All great, with a great tray of 4 chilis to spice everything up.
