“Went for dinner at opening time and there was no wait and restaurant was basically empty which I like. Immediately greeted and sat and provided menus. The service was outstanding, maybe due to how busy the establishment was at the time, but nonetheless outstanding!! Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and pleasant. The food was all soooooo good. Started with the soft shell crab which when delivered to the table had a small flame in the middle;great presentation!!! The fish was very fresh , and you could see the chefs making all the sushi to order which is great. Toll sizes were normal size about 8 pieces and all were delivered at once which I like. The restaurant is a little smaller with about 15 ish tables so I'm sure it can fill up quickly when busy. Desert was also great ❤️. Loved the presentation again as the flatware was very cute as you can see in the photos. Best sushi I have had in Virginia so far ❤️❤️❤️. Prices were reasonable for the amount of shushi and sake that we ordered and would def go back. Must try

Parking: Underground parking garage that is used for the Harris teeter as well. Lots of parking which is great“

Gigantic portions, fresh cuts of fish, beautiful craftsmanship in every roll, generous prices across the menu -- search no further, this place is what you've been looking for (you know it's good when I had my first bite and immediately set a reminder for myself to write a review).

The platter for two was perfect for a movie night in. Don't sleep on their huge hand rolls either! Plus, the staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful, and there's plenty of seating inside if you want to kick your feet up with a hot bowl of miso soup. “Great place for sushi at the airport. The service is quick and efficient. For a starter, I had the crab wontons which were delicious and had more filling than others I’ve had. For my main, I choose the Chesapeake roll, the crab and cream cheese were excellent. Good drink selection and don’t forget to get some Sake.“

“Sushi garden is a “hidden” gem. The sushi is amazing, customer service is good, and it’s fairly priced. I’ve been to a few other local sushi places like bluefish bistro and kussi sushi to name a few. They do not compare. The food they have on the menu outside sushi is also delicious. “It was my first time at this restaurant. I wanted to eat Omakase style , but they did not have that. But instead they had a 4 course meal plus deserts and I was super impressed with the food. The sushi was fresh and the chef did an outstanding job with the sushis. I love the flavors and the fact that this is truly a gourmet sushi experience. The sushis had the right amount of rice ( not too much) and the sushi rice was seasoned to perfection. I ordered the miso soup and although it was not the usual flavor for me , it was still delicious and not as heavy on the soybean paste. You should rally try it. By the way our waiter Franz did a fantastic job serving us.“

“Other than the fact that they were out of my favorite 60 minute IPA on tap, the food here at Rien Tong is great. I must say they exceeded expectation; all the dishes were really good and tasty. Delicious!
We had seafood Tom Yum (lots of ascallops plus jumbo shrimp annd fresh squid) and pork drunken noodles, along with a California roll. All great, with a great tray of 4 chilis to spice everything up.
