“I've been there twice recently (November 2022)since they changed owners. Unfortunately , I will not be back. The first time...I ordered a cheese steak sub. It was awful, it taste like salt. It was also missing all the toppings I had ordered. The sub roll they now use is so thick it's way too much bread. They use to have a thinner roll and made the bread toasty. Its nothing like before. I thought I would give them one more try since they are close to me. I ordered fried oysters. They were well... just ok, I wouldn't want them again.“

“Run, don't walk to Con Salsa! Seriously great food. Each order made fresh. The bowls are phenomenal and the arepas and empanadas are the best we've ever had. And the sauces...OMG the sauces. The garlic and the red sauce are honestly some of the best condiments I've tasted. Thankfully, they sell the sauces too! I do wish there was indoor seating as it is getting colder, but they were doing a brisk takeout business when we were there. Do yourself a favor and try Con Salsa. “Bartizan Events Venue was the perfect choice for my mother's 80th birthday party this weekend. The entire experience was outstanding, thanks to the venue's wonderful staff. From our very first meeting, they were professional, accommodating, and made the planning process a joy.

On the day of the event (August 9, 2025), the staff was incredibly attentive, and they went above and beyond to make the day magical for my mother. Guests were blown away by the food, and I've received countless compliments. One cousin even asked me if I thought she could get the recipe for the chicken!

The venue is conveniently located in Glen Allen with easy access to street parking and free public garages. I'm honestly a little sad the party is over because I loved working with Rachel and the team so much. I'm already looking for another excuse to host an event there. Bartizan is a definite five-star, full-service venue that I would recommend for any special occasion.“

There are so many Japanese touches everywhere for those eating inside at their limited seating & those ordering to go. The selection was simple - mostly Japanese rice balls with various types of fillings for everyone to find something you'd like. I highly recommend the spicy tuna if you can handle some spice, but two onigiri are just right to be filling for a simple lunch. I can't wait to stop by for some more rice balls the next time I'm in the area!“

We sat outside at a firepit because it was an unreasonably warm March afternoon, but the inside has plenty of ambience as well. Definitely worth a stop!“

“Went to try E-Loteria after running across a Tik Tok food review. I have to say that the review was 100% spot on. This place is amazing! A true hidden gem that I think most people fly right by on a daily basis. We all got an order of the birria ramen and the birria balls. Both dishes were amazing and I can promise you will not leave feeling hungry. The food was fresh and well seasoned, packed full of flavor, and piping hot. You can not go wrong with either of those two choices. I am ready for a return trip to try the other dishes on the menu! The only real knock that I can give the experience was a bit slow for a work day lunch break, BUT I will follow that statement with there a massive delivery order ahead us that encompassed the delivery driver to take two trips to the car and five bags. I am going to give them a pass for that.“

The Beach House in Virginia is such a fun place to hang out! The whole beach-bar theme makes you feel like you’re kicking back on vacation, even if you’re just stopping by after work. It’s also an awesome spot to watch a game — plenty of TVs, great energy, and a crowd that actually gets into it.

The food was fantastic. I ordered buffalo wings — all flats and extra crispy — and they absolutely delivered. Big, meaty wings (none of those tiny “where’s the rest of it?” wings you get at some places), cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor.

Cocktails? Not weak at all. They know what they’re doing behind the bar, and it shows.

And the service… easily some of the best I’ve had. Friendly, fast, and super welcoming — the kind of staff that makes you want to come back again.

“This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…

The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.

If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.
