“Run, don't walk to Con Salsa! Seriously great food. Each order made fresh. The bowls are phenomenal and the arepas and empanadas are the best we've ever had. And the sauces...OMG the sauces. The garlic and the red sauce are honestly some of the best condiments I've tasted. Thankfully, they sell the sauces too! I do wish there was indoor seating as it is getting colder, but they were doing a brisk takeout business when we were there. Do yourself a favor and try Con Salsa. Everything we have tried is amazing.“

It’s a smaller café, so when it’s cold there can be a short wait and limited indoor seating (no reservations), but it totally makes sense for the size. When the weather’s warm, they have a large patio. They’re open 9–2, and the staff was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The décor is super unique with a total RVA vibe. The food was unreal. I had the Glitter on a Mattress (Texas toast with bacon & sausage gravy, a side of bacon, and edible glitter ✨) and it was SO good — and huge. We also tried the French toast with flavored fruit cream and a breakfast sandwich, and everything was amazing. Parking is limited in the front, but there’s plenty around the back and an easy walk-up through a covered patio area. Great food, great service, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go back. 💕🍳✨“

“Someone showed me this spot freshman year and whenever I crave boba when I'm back in the city, trust that I'll come here. T.T Lounge has been here for more than 20 years and it makes a lot of sense because the owner is honest and hardworking.

He cooks the boba the old fashioned way- so it's not precooked and hard like other chains. And the banana milk tea has actual fresh mashed banana in it and not some cheap flavored syrup. This isn't some trendy, hype shop, it's a long running community staple that I hope to see other students continue support for years to come ❤️“

“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“My husband and I were looking for a new place for breakfast last weekend and stumbled upon The Grill. We went on a Sunday after church and they were busy but our wait was short and staff was friendly. I ordered one of the breakfast specials, the Cinnamon sugar French toast, and it was honestly the best French toast I have ever had. I can’t even find words to describe how amazing this French toast tasted.. the cinnamon sugar made the crust a little crisp and it was truly to die for.. so good I’m still thinking about it over a week later 😂 Also the potatoes were crisp on the outside and so fluffy and delicious on the inside. This was the first time in years neither of us needed a to-go box because the food was so good we couldn’t stop eating it!! I don’t leave reviews as often as I should but our experience here was so good and we enjoyed the atmosphere so much we can’t wait to come back in with the whole family! I ordered online so I didn’t wait long and parking was easy during the time and day I went. I hope this place is consistent and stays around for many more years to come as I was looking for a new seafood place to replace the ones I’ve grown tired of or disappointed in. “This place is amazing. Last week, I ordered one of their bowls and took home ramen for my husband. He loved it so much that we went back this weekend. Even the kids ate the food (manic and cheese and plain ramen noodles), which almost never happens. The staff was super accommodating with our requests to adjust the order for the kiddos.
