“Sefton is the greatest cafe in richmond, the staff are so kind to everyone who comes in. I get the same thing every time I come in to the point where barista’s and the owners know my order 😂. “A coffee shop, different than all others in the coffee served and treats available. Middle East kind with a twist. Coffee in tge sand is a good choice but they must keep the sand hot....not cold. Sweets offered are a bit old, not fresh. Ravani or irahnge cake was great, more fresh than all the other items. Prefer this place than your regular shops selling coffee and snacks.“

Located in a corner of the street the place was easy to find, they have indoor and limited outdoor seating options, very friendly staff.

Ngl it was worth taking the trip from NoVA to Richmond after all the reels I consumed🫠

“This cafe feels like the type of place where you can sit alone without feeling awkward. I came in around 4 PM with headphones and a book, and nobody bothered me even though I stayed quite a while. The hazelnut latte was smooth and not burnt tasting like some coffee shops nearby. I also liked that they kept the music at a normal volume. The only small issue was one chair near my table being shaky, but a staff member swapped it out after noticing me adjusting it repeatedly. Thoughtful service overall.“

I’m always in the mood for all-day breakfast items when I’m on a work trip, so I tried the pork sausage, egg and cheese on sourdough toast, and a delicious latte. Food and coffee were outstanding. It’s obvious the staff puts care in the prep of every sandwich. The toast was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch, eggs were lightly seasoned with pepper before whisking, and the cheese was nice and “melty”. “What's not to love about Stir Crazy? It's the ideal coffee shop. Nice, friendly neighborhood sort of place on MacArthur, very popular with all ages and for good reasons. The best thing about the place is the staff, they are just the greatest, every single one of them. I can't say enough good things about them. “Was walking the pups in the area and looked up places nearby I could sit outside with them and eat. I had a panini which was excellent but they are known for their wraps. The owner recommended the philly wrap as his favorite but the chicken ceaser wrap went viral and is wildly popular. He is very personable and kind. Offered me water and bowls for my pups. All in all it's a great lunch or breakfast stop!“

“Honestly, it was in a pretty good spot. In the VCU college area it was definitely quite nice on the inside. It had a vibe of its own, not too bright, not too dark, but just the right amount of light I enjoyed a Yemen latte an I was not disappointed at all I can see myself coming back over and over again and the prices aren’t outrageous if you drink Starbucks coffee if you’re close by, stop in. You’ll keep coming back.“

“I bought some Dark as Dark from the grocery store! My wife likes dark roast! She usually uses a creamer. I drink mine black! This has to be the smoothest dark roast I have ever tried! I usually end up with a bitter aftertaste with the dark roasts I have tried so far. Not with this. We bought a grinder thinking that may be the problem but even with fresh beans lots of dark roasts still give that bitter aftertaste. This is tasty all the way through! I’ll be buying this from now on and I like the fact that we will be supporting a Va business as well. We will have to try out one of your locations in Richmond some time!“

When i was there there was only one employee to do everything so was a lil slow but thats ok that is trade off in a small local shop. Clearlh tje place was decorated head to toe with love. “I was told these were the best biscuits in the world. Early Bird did not disappoint. I’m from out of state, just visiting.

I got their “biscuit of the day”, which was topped with bacon and a sweet maple glaze. It was heavenly. Ate the whole thing without a sip of my coffee. It was so buttery-soft and moist. 10/10 would recommend. Total was like $8, great deal.

Also enjoyed their antique decor, especially their uranium glass. So cool!“
