“First let me say that I lived in Europe for two years and have had quite a few amazing croissants...but nothing like this place. The chocolate almond croissant from Sub Rosa is the best one I've ever had..period. Also, the ham and cheese croissant and the tart was incredible. We heard about how fast they sell out so we ordered a few days ahead of our trip. I'd recommend doing the same if you want to guarantee you'll get what you want. Seriously, if you find yourself down here, plan to make a stop, you will not be disappointed.“
“SO many great flavors to choose from; roasted strawberry will spoil you on regular strawberry ice cream forever! The cannoli ice cream(with mini cannoli shell) was excellent. Tables were ginormous - so we shared with someone and still had plenty of room to lay out a board game we brought with us. “If you live in Richmond and have not been here, you should be kicked out of Richmond. This is one of the best BBQ restaurants in America. The brisket was amazing, the jalapeño cheese stuffed sausage was awesome. The atmosphere and the people were excellent. Everything was awesome. This is one of the top brisket places in the US. When we ordered the food, the food was out within 10 minutes of us placing the order and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was calm and quiet with a variety of music playing. The hot honey chicken sandwich is good, but the chips and salsa were nothing beyond salsa from a jar and bagged chips. The pimento cheese is ok but nothing special. We'll go back and hope they improve the menu.“
“Stopped in after the Irish Festival. Got a mango smoothie with boba, and my husband got a mocha smoothie with boba. It was so good as always. I have been going here for years and wish I lived closer. My husband and I both agree that the sound of the straw pulling in the last drops of our smoothie is the saddest sound ever. It means it's all gone. ?Parking: Park on the street for free or park in Kroger across the street and walk over.“

“The food is delicious and very flavorful. The portions may be a little small depending on what you order, so be sure to ask about that. The "las costras" items are delightful, as are the tacos.It's tricky sometimes to get a table, but they have a lovely patio area and the vibe in general is very nice. Highly recommend putting in a reservation in advance if you can.Also, parking can be kind of tricky. We usually have to park on the street in front and there is a 2 hour time limit if you come before 6pm on certain days. There could be other places to park that we simply haven't found yet.All in all, highly recommend!“

I loved the mid 2000s coffee house feel, the solid but delicious beverage options, and the communal tables. “Ardent is my favorite brewery in Virginia. I love Pilsners and lagers and Ardent brews some of the best. I feel like most breweries concentrate on IPAs but Ardent provides a nice mix of all, so all types of beer drinkers should be satisfied. It's a great space to hangout whether you are inside or outside, there's plenty of seating options. All the staff is friendly and attentive, it must be a great working environment as a lot of the staff have been there for many years. There's plenty of food options as well as Ardent has a nice menu of sandwiches, salads and appetizers. Also within the same parking lot you have Eazzy Burger and ZZQ BBQ which are top notch! You can pickup beer to go and they also provide delivery options as well.Visit the Barrel Room around the corner for some of their beers while watching comedy or singing along with karaoke night.Fun, food and great beers. What more can you ask for?“

Run by very pleasant people, and they make some "killer" 'za.I've tried a regular pepperoni pie here, and also the philly steak pizza. Both great. But the Sicilian pie is where it's at. After first trying the Sicilian, I have been back multiple times to get more. This thicker pie really hit the spot for what I was looking for in terms of texture and flavor. Just awesome. Compared to other juice bars, the pricing seems to compare and they use recyclable bottles. If you return the bottles they will give you $2 off your next order.“

Their Fuego shot was recommended so I did try that along with their Costa Smoothie.The Fuego shot wasn’t as ginger heavy as I was personally looking for. It was more pepper to me, which speaks to the pepper that’s in it. So if you’re ok with that then it may be for you!The Costa smoothie is good. It’s a great blend between the mango , pineapple and strawberry fruits. The star of the show is the mango. So if you like mango, with a a trail of pineapple and a sweet linger from the strawberries this is your smoothie. I will say the Apple Juice that in it is a tad too much for me but not enough to take away from the other elements. If you’re looking for a thick smoothie. This isn’t it but overall good smoothie.I would try them again! After all I haven’t tasted the food yet!“

I tried my friends milkshake and it was so good. This place is probably one of the best ice cream places that I have been to. “I ordered an ice cream cake from here. It was very simple to do, and you can even do it online! You can customize everything that goes into your cake! We did chocolate cake with fudge filling and mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was by far the most delicious ice cream cake I have ever had! It wasn't overly priced even though it was an ice cream cake. Originally, we went to publix and were met with issue after issue trying to order an ice cream cake in store. Then we found Brusters online and realized we could do this very easily, customize the cake the way we want, and pick up when we need all for a reasonable price!! After I ordered, Brusters sent me a text confirming my order was received and an email with my receipt for the order and payment. I have never received any more messages from them or emails! Which is nice since usually when you buy something online, you have agreed to that company spamming you. 2 weeks later, I showed up to pick up my cake. They have a different window for picking up online orders, so you don't have to wait in line behind people trying to order ice cream. The man who helped me was very friendly and asked my name and off he went to get my cake! He even gave me instructions to remove the cake from the freezer 10 minutes before cutting. My son was very happy I came through with the exact cake he wanted! Thank you, Brusters, for making his birthday cake dreams a reality and giving me bonus cool mom points!“
