“Just went by to pick up my lox bagel on the way to work, was greeted by such a nice staff.
The Ac also felt amazing.

I arrived at work, and took the first bite, and went straight to heaven. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The lox was not fishy, just yummy and smooth, and the cucumbers had the perfect crunch and a bit of lemon and olive oil on top. YUM!!!!

“This place has a great atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. We were just driving through Richmond and decided to stop here for a bite. My husband had the brisket sandwich which he said was fantastic. I had the trainwrek that was so large and outstanding I couldn’t finish it and have leftovers. The food is fresh and has exquisite flavor! If I’m ever in Richmond again I will be returning.“

“Sub Rosa has been on my list for a while because they are famous for stone milling heirloom grains onsite while also using old European style wood-fired masonry ovens to bake. Sounds fresh and slow, just how I like my sourdough!

We came to Richmond for a long weekend three years ago and attempted to go here, but we failed because the line was too long! This time, i came for work, and I was determined to come again and actually get in! So I got local tip and did a pre order two days before and designated a pickup time; this helps you bypass the line. You just walk in and pick up your order from the back shelf. It could not be easier!

I pre ordered the sesame light rye sourdough, the rosemary sea salt pide flatbread, pistachio sour cherry croissant, beef borek, and a mini quiche. I stopped here en route to the airport going back to NYC today. To my very pleasant surprise, when I picked up the bag from the back shelf and brought it to an outside table to inspect my goods, I realized they threw in an extra pistachio croissant for me! I almost squealed in pure delight! It’s all carefully packaged and well put together.

There’s a decent amount of seating inside and lots of seating outside. I wish I had more time to hang out here because it looks like a comfy place to work on a weekday!

Pistachio sour cherry croissant was delicious; light rye is super light, perfect texture and sooo sour and gooood. I just love this place so much! If I have another work trip here, I will not hesitate to do another pre order again and bring my goods back!“

We had a girls dinner with 6 of us there and the food and experience was amazing. The wine selection, of course, was on point and Megan was so much fun. One of the best dinners of my life, appreciated the experience so much!
