“What an experience! I came from Alabama on a work trip. My fellow employees and I were trying to find a seafood restaurant and stumbled upon this restaurant on a Wednesday. And boy did we hit the jackpot! The food was amazing first off. Second off, we had been wanting to do karaoke and there was a DJ! We sang at the table while we were eating and had such an amazing time. The atmosphere is phenomenal! We ended up dancing on the floor to a few songs before we left 😂 Thank you Hook & Reel for such an amazing experience. The next time we are in the area we are FOR SURE coming back!”

Parking: They have ample parking, the loroco pupusas are recommended, the soups are very good, it's just that the place is very narrow and it is better to order to go”

“I come here for lunch at least twice a week. The ladies are friendly and know exactly how I like my tuna sub. And when I have a sweet tooth, the have fresh chocolate chip cookies. Thank you ladies.”

“Excellent place to go with friends or family. It is one of my favorite places. The atmosphere there is the best, not to mention that the workers are very friendly and very attentive to ensure that the food is always fresh and you take the best home… 100% recommended.”

“It's affordable and the food is delicious. They have a hibachi station, sushi station, dessert, and plenty of Chinese food. They also have dim sum and ample amounts of crayfish and crabs (male). At the time I went, despite a chinese tour group showing up at the beginning, the food was still well-stocked.”

weekends. I have been there twice, and both times were crowded. It is ok for a Starbucks to be almost fully packed, but in this place, some people talked very loudly, and I didn’t feel comfortable sitting inside.”

“Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!”

“We went for the summer restaurant week. You get a cold and a hot appetizer, assortment of sushi and a dessert. We opted for the soft shell crab and shabu shabu ramen, both were delicious and served hot out of the kitchen. Sushi is top quality and decadent of course. Hojicha pudding is uniquely toasty and silky.

Not all RW deals are worth going, but I’d recommend the selection at sushi taro for the quality and the value of the food.”

“Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress.
