“What a delightful surprise!I would never have considered ordering from here, given the Yelp reviews. However, my daughter wanted to try it for a while, and I finally gave in. We ordered online through DoorDash, and they delivered our food on time and in about 40 minutes. We ordered their "All-In Bundle"; as promised, it was delicious enough for four people. Our favorite was the Tenders with Maple Sriracha sauce. They were crispy and had a delightful sweet/spicy coating. Along with the seasoned fries, it is something we will order again. The boneless wings with Garlic Parmesan were good. The wings with Mango Habanero were OK but a bit too hot for our taste. TLDR: Order the tenders with Maple Sriracha and the seasoned fries. Add anything else to your order as an experiment. As an aside, we tried to place the order through UberEats and got stuck in a "select two options" hell where nothing we clicked was acceptable. DoorDash didn't have the same problem.“
“It seemed that my spicy chicken sandwich was smaller than I expected for $5. Joe Biden's brain quickly came to mind. Edy's Chicken and Steak is their greatest local competitor. I recommend you visit & try her quarter chicken with yucca with at least three small yellow and green sauces each on the side. You will be surprised and thank me.“
“The food was amazing. The chicken was hot and juicy. The rolls were sweet warm and soft. The employees were so nice and helpful. The bartender Alexis helped me decide on the perfect drink for me. I think I fell in love with the Hot Honey Margarita. Always expect it to be busy inside so be prepared for a short wait time. Jose helped me decide what type of chicken I should get. I love it and I advise everyone to eat there at least once.“
“My whole family enjoyed the Federalist Pig!The food was great and the service was above par! Definitely had a great time with delicious juicy brisket and other amazing meats and sides..I had the Chipotle green beans and absolutely loved them, in addition to an 8 out of 10 potato salad. I'm super picky about my potato salad. But, it was good, even if it wasn't the best I've ever had.I would definitely recommend Federalist Pig to friends and family and will be coming back!“
“Picked it up and on my 12 min drive home, it didn't get cold at all and stayed crispy till the very end. So pleased with the way they packaged it and more importantly, VERY pleased with the taste/quality of the wings! Would definitely order again. Hope the business can keep this up!“
“If you like Korean BBQ wings, this is the place to go. The Galbi, Mala and Gangnam wings are my personal favorites. The secret sauce has a lot of flavors too! You can't really go wrong with anything. The chicken is halal too, if you're looking for halal options.Dietary restrictions: Great option for halal chicken wings.“
“The food here passes the test! My friend and I stopped by the bar and decided to grab some food while we enjoyed a couple libations. I got the chicken wings, potato salad and greens. My friend got the fried pork chops, mac and cheese and cabbage. Everything was good. Trust me I am one of those people who don't trust everyone's potato salad or Mac and cheese. Everything was good, fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back. Oh, and the bartender was a doll. I can't remember her name but she was awesome!“
“The following were super yummy: 1. Brisket 2. Rib tips 3. Smoked turkey 4. BBQ sauce I’m not used to sweet collard greens. They were not bad, just not used to them. I ate them all. May not order again, but doesn’t mean I would comeback not again… maybe to try the other sides. Pickles had a sweetness to them. Not bad, but don’t look to me given I’ve never been a fan of sweetish pickles regardless of where they come from. The brisket made me happy. I would love to try the Turkey in a sandwich. The ribs tips were perfection. I purposefully saved my extra sauce because it is that yummy.“
“St Patrick's day experience only. Very crowded and extremely loud so if you're into yelling at other parties at your table, then St Patrick's night is the night to go to an Irish Pub. Food was good. Drinks were solid. Had a reservation with people already seated, but still were not let in due to maximum occupancy. Will return to experience normal, non celebretory vibe.“
“Lived in Buffalo for 5 years so the bar for wings is extremely high. These were pretty good though. I tried the lemon pepper, which had good flavor and were crispy. Also had the honey bbq which were drenched in sauce; it was a bit much. The beignets were delicious and the chicken noodle soup hit the spot. Overall, good food and would recommend. But can’t say they are the best wings I’ve ever had though“
“The hard part is parking but there is a parking garage across the street. This is for eating outside so if the weather is good then it’s great to catch a quick bite. Service is a cashier or kiosk, but remember, it’s a quick bite with friends. The food is good but can get a little messy ( mostly sandwiches), but there’s a public restroom nearby to wash your hands. Both the Virginia honey butter chicken sandwich and duck fat fries are flavorful.“
“My second experience (in person). Order was taken by Jane. She is very friendly, professional and super helpful. She goes through your order just to make sure it is correct and then checks before handing the food to you. I got two made to order pizzas; 2 sandwiches; 2 appetizers and a salad. All great and Jane is a great credit to the business.“
“Ordered off DoorDash, wanted pizza and wings but from a place I’ve nvr tried. I ordered the small cheese pizza and 5 hot lemon pepper wings. Wings was a little too saucy, but still good and pizza was great. Taste very similar to Ledos pizza which is one of my favs. I will definitely be ordering again to try the chicken gyro!“
“Really good chicken sandwich, very juicy and crispy. Ordered mild based on prior reviews, in hindsight would have ordered medium. Coleslaw and pickles were really good. Waffle fries were good but considering I was the only person in the restaurant, they were warm but not hot. Restaurant was freezing inside.“
“Absolutely the best Korean fried chicken live had… and this is from someone who currently lives in SoCal with tooons of Korean fried chicken places that just can’t compare. As others have said, it’s the flavor, texture, and juiciness, all perfect.“
“I am blown away with the amazingly delicious food. Anymore eating out for me is a disappointment, but tonight the whole family was left full bellies and amazed how good the food was. If we didn't live far away I would make this a local place to come for sure. It may be worth the 2 hour drive anyways. We had fried artichoke and it was to die for! On top of great food the bartender was an amazing server. He was on top of everything and great personality. We would give this ten stars if we could.“
“An awesome place to get Korean Fried Chicken. It was my first time here and the ChiMc team gave us a sample of 2 spicy and 2 soy garlic wings while waiting for my order. The wings were incredible. The onion rings were extra crispy and delicious. Definitely look forward to going there again.“
“Delicious jumbo slice pizza and very pleasant people working there! We drove 1 hour just to get pizza! So good! If we didn't live so far, we would definitely get pizza more often. They are better than any of the fast food pizzas by far!“
“My favorite chicken sandwich spot. The food is great. We just get the chicken sandwich because it's only $12. I would say that the cleaning could be something that they do a little bit better. The floors are sticky, and the bathrooms are a little gross. Service is very good, though they take your order almost immediately and make the food quickly.“
“Fairly frequent (weekly) coffee (Ethiopian) & samosa (pastry w/lentil filling) cafe; friendly and welcoming owners and clientele. I have not had the other selections but others do and enjoy. Prices, quality & portions are good. Stop in and support local small business.“
“Food was great and hot, guy who took my order very friendly and well mannered. Got there cheese steak, pupusa, fries and a tres leche. Needless to say it was hot and fantastic. There horchata was great but depends how you like yours done, theres is more cinnamon strong in flavor then most ive had but still very good. Id definitely make this place a regular stop and its all freshly made to boot.“
“One of the tastiest Indian restaurants in the area!!! The owner Bokech (I really hope I spelled his name right if not I am so sorry!) is so kind and really cares about his customers and giving them great food! Every dish I’ve tried here is fantastic and I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good late night bite :)“
“Hooooweeeee!! Let me tell you about Kallisto Steakhouse. As a person who's grown up in areas without halal steak options near me, this restaurant is a blessing to have within 20 minutes of my house. For tonight, I had the top sirloin steak with fries and the lamb platter with garlic bread. The steak was a tad bit overcooked but the flavor profile was spot on and the compound butter made up for any misses in the dish. The mixed veggies and sauce on the side was perfect as well as the fries. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.Paired with a live flame, I'd order this experience again! The lamb chops were absolutely perfect, with the right char and flavor. The portion size and garlic bread is really good with the mushroom sauce, giving you no room to move after. I had to take food home. Finally, the Mango Mocktail Mojito was absolutely delightful! Sweet, refreshing, and light at the same time!Overall, 10/10.“
“I love the food here! They have new sandwiches and dishes rolling out semi-regularly. It's a great mix of Sichuan and a great chicken sandwich. If you are afraid of spice I think the Hot Boy spice level is not too spicy at all! Just be warned it is a play off of nashville hot chicken sandwiches so the sandwiches are wetter than your average chicken sandwich. The Taj ma hot and the Hot Boy deluxe-club sandwich are my go to orders, the Ube coffee is a nice creamy sweet treat as well. Service is overall good, the person working the front is nice and patient, you can order at the kiosk. Sometimes the food takes some time because they fry and prepare everything right after you order so it stays fresh, but it is worth the wait!Dietary restrictions: The chicken is HalalParking: This location is in the Ballston mall so their is a convenient parking garage attached to the building. There is also free street parking if you can find it.Kid-friendliness: Has non-spicy options for kids and fun drinks.“
“Can't comment on Atmosphere since we only waited for Takeout. Time from ordering to getting our ToGo was about 15-20 minutes and as expected for getting 2 dozen wings! It's not a high menu, basically wings and select sandwiches. Definitely some of the best wings I've had down in this part of West Alexandria! Check them out, nice little tucked away place.Parking: Not a big place for Dine-in, and some very limited seating outside.“
“The food is absolutely amazing. The waffle is perfectly made. The chicken is omg so good. Not too salty like some other places do. The icing on the cake is the Mac and cheese. It gives very much homemade thanksgiving Mac and cheese !! Amazing !!“
“They make very good New York style pizza here with great service. The Cajun fries turned out to be a little intense for my taste; I'll probably just get the regular fries next time. It's a small space, but nice atmosphere, great selection of music on the speakers.“
“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“
“Good service and tasty food. My sandwich, the Seoul King, was a bit too rich. They dip the friend chicken in the sauce but I think that they should let it drain more. It was just too much. I have tried about every hot chicken place in the DC area and I think that this is a 3.5-4 compared to others. I will come back to try it again.“
“The trout and the brisket were delicious, one side, the beets were very nice, broccoli that came with the trout was rather limp and grey, but flavorful, maybe just needed to be blanched prior to grilling. The bread basket had freshly baked, warm, 3 selections, 2 very good, one a bit underdone, a spoon biscuit. Nelson was a knowledgeable server of food and drink. One person had white wine, another a beer on tap, and it was a welcome suprrise that The Falls had two of the premium non-alcohol beers, both Athletic brand, one an IPA. The noise level was just moderate on this weeknight dinner. We will return to this pretty and delicious addition to Falls Church dining.“
“Well, let me tell you, it's hands down one of the best wing spots in town! The wings are crispy, flavorful, and they have a great variety of sauces to choose from. Plus, the portion sizes are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, perfect for hanging out with friends and enjoying some delicious wings. Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you give America's Best Wings a try!“
“Came here during a hospital trip for my mom after driving 6-ish hours from NC and it was probably the highlight of those few days (that isn't saying much but it really was quite good). The chicken nuggets don't come in any less-spicy variation than Mild, which was still lip-tingling. The meat is so insanely juicy and tender you'd think it was slow-cooked. The fries come in Five Guys-like abundance, but are much higher quality, being very crispy and dark (I think they were listed as twice-fried so that might explain it). The OREO shake was highly respectable and helped pass the time waiting for the real food, but if I ever end up here again I'll get a proper drink as well. The place is located in a rather charming little shopping center, and open very late. I'm lucky to have found it so close to the hotel.Drawbacks - took 20ish minutes to get my food, and a shake-fries-nuggets combo was as many dollars. Don't come here like it's McDonald's.“
“We came to D.C. for a couple days from AZ and my son wanted Italian. I sent my Mom some options in many different areas and she chose this place, and I’ll admit when we were dropped off in this area, I wasn’t quite sure, but we decided to go in, and were warmly welcomed, and enjoyed an amazing meal! I got the Gnocchi with Meat Sauce, my Mom enjoyed Ravioli with cream sauce, and my son said his spaghetti with meat sauce was one of the best! We go out to eat A LOT, and am glad we gave this little place a try.“
“Stands out as a gem for those with a penchant for Peruvian flavors. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by an ambiance that was both clean and festive, making the dining experience not just about the food but also the joyous atmosphere it's served in. The staff at the register were exceptionally welcoming, contributing to a very pleasant start to the meal. The food, oh the food! It was nothing short of spectacular. Spin Pollo offers a larger selection list than what you might find at typical Peruvian chicken spots, ensuring that there's something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for the classic Pollo a la Brasa, bursting with spices and cooked to perfection, or you're looking to try something different from their expansive menu, you won't be disappointed. The flavors were deep, rich, and beautifully balanced, showcasing the best of Peruvian cuisine. The food came out piping hot, a clear indicator of the freshness and care with which each plate was prepared. It's rare to find a place that pays such close attention to the quality of both its service and its cuisine.“
“I couldn’t wait to rate this after I ate here for the first time! It’s difficult to find pizza places around my area that sell by the slice and that are great quality. This place has everything!! Great quality, service, ambience! The pizza tastes amazing!! Loved my margarita one! Would recommend!“
“Food was delicious!! It was freshly fried, crispy and juicy. I got sweet onion and hot red pepper. The place was very neat in appearance. Great to dine in and also to go! The server was kind and amazing to us. I would come back for sure next time :)) One of best Korean chicken experience.“
“1.29.2024 I normally do delivery and have only been in a few times. Very small and is not a sit down spot, just wait or pickup. Delivery has always worked well for me and I do like the pizza. I have referred them to a number of people and those people are always surprised at how good it is and end up making it their go to. I have not eaten anything else from there. I do recommend if you want delivery at a certain time, that you add that to the notes section in addition to the time slot on the scheduled time otherwise it is not likely to be on time. I do feel they read the notes though which is great. I recommend this pizza.“
“We got food to go and waited outside- the inside is very small but the food… was so good! We got the risotto balls and fries. Both hit. I just wish the marinara was hot for the risotto balls! It was a good late night meal! Will definitely try the pizza next time!“
“I'm sooo in love with this place!!! I first learned about them while I was door-dashing one late night and decided to give them a try!!! I ordered some chicken wings all flats, well done & extra wet. And to my surprise these have to have been some of the best chicken wings ever!!! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and they also deliver!!We're all so caught up at ordering at these corporate places that we forget to give these small businesses a try!! But trust and believe you will not be disappointed!! And no I am in no way affiliated with this restaurant. Just a frequent shopper. Oh yeah and btq, they make their own ranch and blue cheese deeping sauce, not those sauces that come out of the packets.“
“Food: Visited on a Saturday night around 7. It wasn’t busy for me at all. I ordered a Nashville (medium spiciness) sandwich and a honey butter (mild spiciness) sandwich at the kiosk ($25). I liked the spicy kick of the Nashville sandwich that I may attempt the next spicy level. The mild honey butter sandwich is great for people who cannot handle spicy food. The rooster sauce is a free add-on on the side that was good as well. Tip: it may be a little messy so grab napkins.Tables: there are plentiful tables that were clean. The facility workers come around to tidy up the area, but don’t forget to clean up after yourself as well.Restrooms: clean public restroom with water fountains located right outside.Wheelchair accessibility: Push open doors that actually work. Spacious between the food stalls and tables. Accessible bathroom stall (1) with low sink counters.“
“We love eating here when we come in town to visit family. Always good food and good service. We had our baby with us this time and was able to get sat pretty quickly for a Friday night. We always get the wings because they are awesome but this time I got mini burger sliders and they were delicious!! Definitely recommend for a date night or with the family.Kid-friendliness: Had a high chair and had lots of tvs there to entertain kids as well.“
“We had the entire place to ourselves, so a nice birthday dinner. They have a new dish bulogi fries. I'm super excited trying that. Bonchon food is addicting and super good.Parking: Parking in front around the side and some in back. Across the street and street parking.Kid-friendliness: My kiddo definitely enjoyed sitting in his booster seat at the table. Waiter definitely enjoyed his cuteness.“
“Had a great time. Birthday party for two friends. The Band was excellent and the food was good. Service is a little slow but the place was crowded. I drink my whiskey neater so ii can’t give a score on the mixed drinks. Overall I had a great time but be prepared to fight for parking, or park a block or two away.“
“This was my first time at Ledo Pizza and I order 2 pizza special and Ledo steak and cheese lunch special the pizza was delicious other pizza places the pizza dough fill me up but Ledo topping is fresh a lot of ingredients at all dough I LOVE IT and also Ledo steak and cheese sub. The staff was very polite and well manner thank you Ledo I will be your number one customerWheelchair accessibility: I had no problem with handicap accessibility very convenient for all types of wheelchairs“
“This is our favorite local bar - AND the food is fantastic! The bartenders are always kind and attentive. The music great and the general ambiance has great energy. We have fun when the bar is packed, empty, and everything in between. Highly recommend for poetry Thursdays (every 3rd Thursday) and Live Music on Fridays. You won't be disappointed by the buffalo wings, fries, po'boy, or the catfish sandwich.“
“Hands down, one of the best pizzas in DC. Their pies are massive and a great value, especially for DC and Navy Yard. I normally don't care for pizza crusts, but I ate every last bit of these. Love the casual sports bar vibe too. Great for groups!“
“Nothing like a mom and pop breakfast & lunch spot! Joy's Kitchen offers a variety of options from breakfast sandwiches, platters, chicken meals and more. The staff are very friendly but if you don't call ahead expect to wait and the food is cooked to order. There is no seating inside the venue, and the space operates as a Carryout only facility. Note: they take cash only or cash app.“
“Best place in the area for Dim Sum..When a Chinese place is filled with Asian diners, then you know their food is good and the prices are reasonable.Wheelchair accessibility: Paralyzed friendin powerchair loves coming here. No obstacles, smooth floor. Only you will need someone to help with the doors.“
“The food is better than Domino's, it's competitive pricewise with Domino's, it's right next to a domino's... The only thing I will give Domino's is they have a better parking lot. But probably cuz it's more empty. Do the math.Parking: it needs to be repaved and it's annandale... so no parking anywhere is good.“
“Can hardly go wrong with their wings. Hot take: their boneless wings, even though "boneless wings" are basically fancy chicken nuggets, ARE SO GOOD. Wings are solid wings. Sauces are fine. Drinks are actually better than expected and really affordable!Big pro: they have high chairs!Kid-friendliness: High chairs and volumes aren't incredibly loud“
