“Me and my friend went here for dinner on a Wednesday. I recommend a reservation even though it didn’t get too crowded until later in the evening. We opted to sit outside but the noise from U street traffic really dampened the atmosphere. They thankfully let us move inside. You order through a QR code or at the bar. We both got their limonadas which were great. And then got their fries to share and I got the masa gnocchi - all delicious! I would definitely go back to try more.“

David P was so nice over the phone and so patient. I paid for it over the phone and told my co worker to leave a tip but could not cause the card had been ran… said don’t worry enjoy the food. I had to call that man back and tell him I did serving for years and he was the most humble man and send him a cash app. I will never go eat at another Mexican Place knowing this place is here. “The cocktails and food were both delicious. I ordered the steak frites, and while the steak was flavorful and well-prepared, the portion was quite small. After trimming the fat, the serving felt more like 4-5 ounces. At $42, it seemed a bit overpriced, especially when compared to Clyde's, where we had an 8-ounce steak frites for $35. The food quality is great, but the portion sizes leave something to be desired. I'm not a big eater, but for the price, I expected a bit more.“

“I was in the mood for pancakes, but not really any decent places to choose from in the Gunston area. A quick Google search turned this place up, and boy was I happy to find it!! “The arepa pabellon mastered by these beautiful people @ ArepaZone is one of the best dishes I’ve ever enjoyed in my life. The beef is perfectly cooked, falling apart and soaked in flavor along with perfectly cooked beans and fried plantains that along with the cheese bring this bite to the top of the top. It’s all gluten free too and they manage this beautifully with another very delicious dish they offer which is the tequenos that are sadly not GF but they’re filled with cheese and just doughy enough to be another exquisite bite. Last but not least, the garlic sauce…it has Mayo and I’m allergic to eggs so the pain I feel after enjoying this sauce comes back every time but I eat it anyway only at this place. Quite possibly too much was disclosed in that last part but the sauce is really really really good.“

I’m not vegan/vegetarian but thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was bursting with flavor and made with thoughtful ingredients. The cocktails were unique and delicious as well! We left fully satisfied, and I know I will be back again and again! I highly recommend the roasted beet salad, the churrasco, and the passion fruit cheesecake. My friends loved the pan con jamon, the bacon wrapped dates, and the arepitas. Really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was beautiful. “I tried out Saya for the 1st time yesterday and they did not disappoint at all! The service was awesome! Super friendly! Their pork sandwich (sanwhich de Chola) was so good I wish I had gotten two ?. They have this dehydrated peach drink that was soooo refreshing and natural! You should try it at least once. Lastly, their saltenas were really good! My partner is vegan and she loved them. I would Highly recommend trying this authentic Bolivian food spot. “I went two weeks ago to this arepa zone place with the positive expectations of the other two places, and the arepa with shredded meat and Yellow cheese was too good but of the two cheese empanadas, one had the acid cheese and the papelon juice with lemon It was piche. After trying it, I asked the employees to change it for a passion fruit one but they refused and of course I told them that I would make this negative review because things can happen in any restaurant but if the employees don't resolve it, imagine.“

“Simple, delicious food. Might be a small joint but well worth your visit.

They have a large variety on the menu and I had a hard time selecting as they were all tempting.

We ordered the ceviche, lomo saltado. grilled fish/shrimp, and the lengua tacos.
All were great, the lengua tacos were the best I’ve had since I was out west.
Portions are generous.

Staff was very attentive, will visit again.
