“Hello, I just went through the drive-through to get sweet tea for my wife and two-year-old son. As I pulled into the parking lot, the woman at the podium handing out receipts gave me a dirty look, possibly because of my loud exhaust. I proceeded to the line to order my beverage, and while I waited, she handed receipts to the two cars in front of me but stared at me and my car with the same look. She didn’t offer me a receipt, which my wife needs to scan for points on an app that helps us financially. I had to ask for one when I got to the window to pick up my drink. I noticed this number on the receipt, which belongs to the operator, Jason Umberger. I believe the employee may need some coaching on maintaining professionalism and not letting personal judgments affect her behavior at work. As a manager for a company in Virginia that sponsors VCU, the Flying Squirrels, and many others, I understand the importance of professional conduct in the workplace. This was 8/22/23 @ 6:19PM.“

“Stopped in the other day for takeout. Staff so friendly, decided to dine in. Salad was amazing and the service was fantastic - very engaging and friendly. Highly recommend anyone to venture into Chopt - Richmond location. The Manager of this location has a great team - a reflection of good leadership. Well done, I will be back and will be telling friends. FYI - Mexican Caesar Salad is amazing!“

“Absolutely Amazing – Love at First Bite!
I can honestly say this was one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had. From the very first bite, I understood why it’s called Holly Philly – Love at First Bite! The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the bread was fresh and soft. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the flavors blended together perfectly.
The customer service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made the entire experience enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was inviting, and my order was prepared quickly.
If you’re craving an authentic Philly cheesesteak, this is the place to go. Great food, generous portions, fair prices, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending Holly Philly to all my friends and family. Five stars without hesitation!“

“What a gem! We had the currywurst and a hot Italian sausage with mushrooms and cheese. Both were absolutely delicious. salad was refreshing and perfectly dressed. One of the best meals I have ever had. We were even able to get some packaged meat to go. The staff were so helpful and kind. Get one of everything!“

“It is hard to pick a favorite dish but the Dede, latkes, and a matzoh ball soup could cure me of anything. I also love a spritz and the boquerones during happy hour. The vibes are very welcoming and cozy too. Susie’s is akin to a hug from a friend 🫶“

“Stopped in randomly. Long day. Needed food. I've driven by this place so many times. Picked a random hot American pizza. XL. Holy hell this thing was good!! Dudes inside were nice, and got me a pizza from order to me walking to my car in less than 15min. Can't wait to try more of their pizzas!! Also, they have nightingale ice cream sandwiches!!!!“

“All pizzas begin with the dough. Mike uses premium ingredients to make an awesome crust. Next comes the sauce and toppings. All premium unlike the big chains. Just ordered a large deluxe for my tummy and delicious as always. Very consistent. Cheers to Mike and his crew.“

“We’ve been dying to try this place and it is so good! The people working this afternoon were so nice and ready to help us (I had been studying the menu online though, so we knew exactly what we wanted! If you’re not sure though, they are more than willing to help), and the food was delicious and substantially portioned. The salsa bar to dress things up is amazing, but everything was incredible even without it. I got all the vegetarian stuff and I can’t wait to try more. My husband got the chicken mole on the bone and a pork guiso and now he’s fantasizing about catering a party from here because it is so homey and tastes so comforting. We went with the platillo medio option to try 2 guisos each, and with that we had leftovers, which is great for breakfast or lunch tomorrow. I will say the spicy stuff wasn’t very spicy if you like some heat, but it’s all seasoned really nicely. Corn tortillas were great, and they seemed super conscientious about that for gf guests. Definitely lives up to the hype!“

“It's been a few years since I visited El Caporal in person. We were hungry after going downtown for a doctor's appointment so we decided to have dinner out.
This is such a great little restaurant. Extremely fast service, delicious, fresh food. Mom ordered a taco salad, I got #4 and requested the verde sauce which is amazing. The folks across from us ordered a great looking dessert before leaving, and we were jealous of the margarita ordered by the gentleman who took the table. Sadly we don't drink these days but lots of great looking cocktails were going by.
Chips were fresh and warm, salsa and white sauce were fresh.
$38 for the two of us with tip, two entrees and a diet Pepsi.
I hope they are around for a long time. 🇲🇽“

“I had the Atlantic omelette and I was so impressed. It truly had lump crab and lobster in the omelette some omelettes when you deal with seafood are skimpy with the crab and lobster, but hands-down Lulu was one of the best and their omelette was truly well done sometimes omelettes are not cooked all the way through. It was just an amazing experience for me, I was thoroughly impressed. I will be coming back lol 😂 I saw 👀 the chicken and red velvet waffles!“

“Roofs Natural Kitchen has become our absolute go-to spot, and for good reason. Every visit is consistently great, and we always end up ordering the El Jefe with the works—it never disappoints.
The portions are generous, packed with fresh ingredients, and always full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
The place itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about their customers.

“You gotta, just gotta try this place. The bologna burger harkens back to old days made new again (14 years in Lakeside). The cook is salty, kind, and fun to banter with. The owners came in and treated the granddaughters to pom poms, books, and bubble-maker sets, because everyone wants to be a cheerleader, books are priceless, and bubbles are fun. Great value. Great food. Close to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. So fun! So good!“
“First time there. Loved the ambience, setting and vibe. Beautiful big windows. The service was top-notch and friendly. Our food was ok at best, all four of us ended up a little disappointed. We went to Perly's a couple days later and for the same prices the food standards were much higher. If they can step up the on the kitchen a couple notches, I will go back regularly. Love the spot and will give them another chance. I'm hopeful.“

Desde que entramos, el ambiente nos hizo sentir como en casa: cálido, auténtico y lleno de detalles que reflejan la cultura mexicana. El servicio fue excelente, muy amable y atento en todo momento. La comida… ¡simplemente deliciosa! Probamos los tacos al pastor y el mole poblano, y ambos estaban llenos de sabor, perfectamente sazonados y presentados con mucho cuidado. También recomiendo sus margaritas, que están entre las mejores que he probado en Richmond. Es un lugar ideal tanto para una cena casual como para una celebración especial. “Stopped in for lunch today and had the pleasure of being served by Paris! She was attentive, kind, and efficient. She kept us updated on how long our food might take, made sure we had enough breadsticks, and kept our unlimited sauces coming! When it came time for boxes, she gave us extra sauce and cold mints, yum! When we come back, we will definitely ask to be served by Paris. She was GREAT!“

“It is always freezing cold if you sit next to the kids play area, but the restaurant is always clean. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Just be sure to bring a jacket, my kids know if they are headed to Chick-fil-A they need a jacket.“

“My husband and I tried Extra Billy's Smokehouse for the first time. We had the feast platter and everything was delicious. I loved the Brisket Vegetable soup, best soup I ever had. I loved their BBQ sauce too. Service was excellent, food arrived hot and delicious. We highly recommend.“
