“I would HIGHLY recommend this place. We had a surprise birthday party here and the staff was super amazing. They went above and beyond to make our time here so much fun. From the time we walked in til the time we left. We traveled almost two hours to come here and we definitely will be back. Thank you to each and everyone of the staff for helping us make wonderful memories.“

“My husband and I came on Sunday during Rthymn and Roots. Our Jamaican Jerk Chicken was excellent. It is one of my favorite dishes. The fried okra reminds me of something my grandmother would make. It’s delicious and classic southern cuisine. Based on the increased demands from the festival; the staff handled it very well! The customer service we received was above and beyond what we expected under these conditions. I hope the staff are able to get some rest after this. Thanks for the great food and service!!!“

“Ryan was great! He was super attentive and friendly. I love that you get croissants instead of bread. I had the grilled chicken pecan salad, delicious. They also had great healthy options for my kids. We struggle to find good options for kids other than pizza, and fried foods. Grilled chicken was great! We sat outside, it could have been a little cleaner and a fan would help with the bugs. But I expect this with outdoor seating. We will definitely be back.“

“My husband, an avid fan of our local IHOP, didn't understand why I was insisting to locate & try Perkins on our road trip. We landed in our seats at 2:30, it took us at least 5 minutes to decide what we wanted to order, my husband craving a smoke asked if he would have time to smoke. Our fantastic hostess assured him he would have time, note we were seated as close as possible to the door. He walked out the door & I glanced at the dessert menu then in a blink, our hot food was on the table before my husband could return! It was 2:40! He was so delighted with how delicious his meal was that I got to say "I TOLD YOU IT WOULD BE WORTH IT" & he definitely agreed. I couldn't believe that I could actually order my BLT on SOURDOUGH bread! The Tomato Basil soup was the best that I've ever tasted! I can't remember the name but I searched out the lowest cal dessert, strawberry cream cheese something & it was mouthwatering. He had the Chicken Fried Steak & said it was the most tender he has ever had & he has ordered it from multiple eateries. Served exactly as he had asked. he had ordered a side of gravy because never before had he gotten enough gravy served on his plate. We had to take the side to go because his plate was perfect! We were both so full that we had to take dessert to go. I can't believe MY HUSBAND actually finished his entire banana nut muffin! Sweets are not his thing so I was expecting at least a bite offered to me. I took a 1/2 dozen pumpkin Muffins to family that had kept out dog & they reported them to also be fantastic. My only complaint was that they are so far from my home! I will be searching for an excuse to get back there a soon as possible!“

“We went to the store at Exit 63 in Kingsport, near Tri-Cities Airport. We were seated right away, but waited 20 or so minutes with out any service. The tables beside us were quickly waited on. They didn't have many tables seated, so not very busy. We got up and left and drove to Exit 7. We were seated right away, the server (Anna) was there in just a couple of minutes to take our order. The kitchen was slow to get our food out for not being very busy. It was all good, hot and tasty. We typically wouldn't drive to Exit 7 but would return if we are in the area, but we are probably done with Exit 63 location.“

“First time visit with a small group for a business dinner. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. Cooked just perfectly with great flavor. Prices are a great value for the quality and portion size. Next time I’m in town I’ll definitely make a return trip.“

“Hadn’t stopped here for a long time, but was glad we did. Four of us, three had grilled salmon, I had 8oz sirloin. Everything was delicious and well prepared. Service was excellent and things were very clean. Salads and sides were excellent, loaded potato, sweet potatoes, broccoli cooked perfectly and fresh. Including drinks, bill was a little over $100. Food was cooked to order so it was a little slow but worth waiting for.“
