“I don't remember how I found this place online, but am so glad. You'll feel like you're on a treasure hunt and maybe in the wrong building, but go to the G (=LL) floor via the elevators and it's there. Simple decor and the owner is really friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent - I am vegan and he had no problem using tahini instead of tzaziki in my falafel sandwich, which was one of the best I've had! The prices were extremely reasonable and I am just sad it's so hidden away that people won't just run across it without knowing about it. The food was obviously prepared with care. Worth a visit - I plan on returning!“

“I love it because I walked all the way from the Franconia Springfield Metro Station. When I got there, my team FC Barcelona playing against PSG at the 70th. Minute tied 2-2. In the end, Barca scored and won the game 3-2. Love the food and I ate it using my hands. It’s the only way. I ate the rice with fork of course.“

“How did I forget to review Plaka?? Plaka is consistently amazing. Fast, delicious and friendly service every single time. I love introducing people to Plaka. The food is always fresh and tasty. Some of my favorite things are the Plaka Gyro Wrap which has Authentic Greek-style pork gyro with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki and fries inside. It's filling but you won't be in a food coma afterwards. I also love getting the plaka bowls where you can choose what you want in them. Kind of like Cava but way better.“

Our server was not very attentive and barely stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything. The place was not that crowded so I don't think being busy was the reason. “I have lived for 28 years on this planet and have had onion rings from an incalculable number of restaurants. I say with complete confidence that Milano's has the perfect onion rings and I can not even imagine any way to improve them. They are big, bready, and crispy with healthy sized onions, just like you would expect from an American grill style restaurant (obviously they aren't an American restaurant, but they do American food very well). But the onion is cooked to perfection and will bite cleanly instead of sliding out and falling apart the first time you rip into it. The outer breading is perfectly fried, but not too oily and maintains its structure. The ability for a kitchen to take a mundane food purchasable anywhere and execute it perfectly is a great sign of a highly skilled staff in my opinion. I live next-door to this place and eat there very regularly. Everything else on the menu is top-notch as well, the whole menu feels very family-recipe style. This is always my go-to spot when I'm feeling sick, it is fantastic comfort food. Their pizza is definitely the best in the neighborhood, although there are a few other joints in Springfield that give them a run for their money.“

“Havabite eatery has the best chicken souvlaki and gyro sandwiches in Northern Va. We stopped in here not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by how good the meals were. Most other places overcook the souvlaki meat leaving it dry but at Havabite the meat was tender and well seasoned and the bread was fresh and the tzatziki sauce was yummy and creamy. The only improvement would be on the baklava, which was on the dry side. We'll definitely be back for more.“
