“I tried the curry chicken bowl and the combo of toasted cashews, grapes, mixed greens and farro was as my taste buds imagined.... tasty! I was a bit leery of the vinaigrette because I don't usually eat vinaigrettes. I dipped my finger in it first to taste and was not feelin it but told myself...well, maybe it'll be better on the salad. Surprisingly it complemented the salad well. I didn't pour it all on tho. “The greatest culinary mystery of Hampton Roads is how Taste makes their multi-grain bread taste so good! Plenty of crunchy crust, pillowy soft interior, thick enough to where it holds up the sandwich ingredients, but not too thick to where it overwhelms the other ingredients. My go to's are the Beach Club (roast beef instead of ham) and the Northender (Swiss cheese instead of Havarti and house dressing instead of basil mayo). Don't skip on the house or hot house dressings. The bottles aren't cheap, but it's the chef's kiss to these sandwiches. And major props for having Dr Brown's soda and Route 11 chips! Parking is usually a challenge, so if you get a spot on the street, count your blessings. Plenty of seating and there's also a lot of grab and go options as well.“

“Why isn't anyone driving through this place ordering sandwiches!!! This is the only place that actually bakes fresh bread and does not have that horrible chemical in their bread like Subway. I can actually eat the white bread without my glucose spiking and feeling sick. I'm only talking about the bread...well the sandwiches are phenomenal, at least the veggie #6 is my most favorite. It's the only place in the 757 I know that serves a sandwich with depth and gorgeous taste. They work fast too, and it's not necessary because I would wait because their sandwiches are phenomenal. This particular Jimmy John's on J Clyde is really the best one. I hope you all have a chance to go by and order your favorite sandwich and see for yourself. The staff are friendly too. It's seriously a hidden gem. It's such a pleasant experience and I get so happy eating my veggie sandwich. ?“

“Haven't been here in ages. The store was really nice and clean including the bathrooms. Great employees. They did a good job even though I had a coughing fit the whole time I was ordering. The menu has changed but it looks better. The food tasted good. We will probably start eating at subway again after this experience.“

I've went inside to order and have ordered through the app and it's always correct and on time. The store usually looks clean and the visible food looks fresh. I would recommend this subway.“

“One of the best! I came here to get sandwiches for my staff. The employee Ayalia was great and very accommodating, patient and understanding. I got six sandwiches made and she helped out so much and gave great suggestions on the best ways to dress the sandwiches so that they would not be soggy when I got to my destination. She was awesome! “My mom and I stopped by this location for lunch. We ordered a big kahuna and turkey and provolone. Both subs were delicious! It was flavorful and the bread was soft and warm. The young man who helped us, shahim, was supper friendly and helpful. My mom recognized him from the Coliseum location. He is the manager here now and it is well deserved! We will be back!“

“The Sandwich Artists there seemed to be having a rough shift. They looked tired as heck. I left one of my sandwiches there and they didn't run after me to tell me. (I'll let that one slide lol).Anytime you work in a place that makes hundreds of sandwiches a day and you are able to make them edible I will be thankful.“
