“I am writing to address an issue I had with a recent order at the Portsmouth location in Chesapeake Square Mall. The problem I encountered with a recent order for the Chicken and Shrimp Chipotle Pasta for myself and my sister. When we opened the order at home, we found that the dish only contained chicken and no shrimp. I called the store, and the manager instructed me to return the order for a replacement, which I did. However, upon receiving the remake, we found that it was only half the portion size of the original meal—essentially, the chef appeared to have split one full dish into two smaller portions, rather than properly preparing two separate orders. As a loyal customer, I have never experienced service like this before, and the entire situation was very frustrating. Not only did I have to return to the store twice, but the second attempt still did not resolve the issue. I called the store again, and at that point, the manager, Brooke, asked if I had taken pictures of the order. I did, and I am happy to share those images with you as an attachment. The total cost of the meal was $40.28, and I feel that the value and quality of the service did not meet my expectations. I am hoping for a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your response.“

“The server was amazing—super friendly and working incredibly hard to make up for the long wait and kitchen delays. She truly went above and beyond despite the challenges. Unfortunately, the hostess felt unmotivated, and the food took a while, with some mistakes like forgotten ranch and mustard. The burger was tasty, but the wet silverware didn’t help. “My elderly sister (78) and I came to The Tuesday for lunch. The interior was clean & inviting. Our waitress, Kelsey, was pleasant & informative. My sister has food allergies and based on the information we gave Kelsey, she was able to suggest several menu options. I especially appreciate Kelsey making sure my sister was ok and only given decaffeinated-coffee. The Chef, Brittney, cooked our salmon and tilapia selections to perfection: the seafood was lightly seasoned and not over-cooked or burnt on the ends. The salad-bar was clean, fresh, and full of many options. All together a very pleasant experience!!“

“Not completely obvious from the main road, this little Dairy Queen is worth a stop. The toppings are always fresh, food arrives fast, I've never gotten an incorrect order and servings are always the amount expected or more (at least for ice cream). And this is hands-down ALWAYS the friendliest fast food store staff I have ever met. I don't always get the same person, but whomever is at the window always greets me and has a big smile. That alone keeps me coming back. This must be a fun place to work.“

“Best burger place! I've been to many burger places including In-N-Out and Shake Shack, but Five Guys is the best. It’s the best burger I've had from a chain. They use peanut oil for fries and the have peanuts im open boxes, so allergy warning! Cajun fries and regular fries are amazing, like fresh-cut boardwalk fries. Friendly staff, and they good music. I love this place!

Was a nice night out so we sat outside (nice big outside seating area) while we waited for our ice creams. They were brought out fast. Orders were correct. Staff was friendly. Thumbs up.“

“I think it’s important to write a review when you have an awesome experience, and today was that day at Dairy Queen. It was really busy today around 8 so I decided to go inside. 1) everyone was extremely safe in regards to COVID 2) the cashier I had (it says Kiera on my receipt) was extremely nice and efficient. I told her I had a hefty order (8 ice creams) and she was able to get everything accurate right off the bat and was just overall so sweet. Awesome job girl👍🏻 3) they made ALL my ice creams so quickly. Like....freaky fast efficient. The woman working the counter made sure I had enough spoons, put all of them in a drink carrier for me and the best part.....OFFERED TO HEP ME BRING THEM TO MY CAR 😱😍 just amazing. I declined because I’m stubborn, but I was seriously so impressed. I came home and ranted and raved to everyone in the house because I was just so happy. Great work y’all! Y’all rock! 👏🏻👏🏻“

“The food I got was absolutely terrible. I don’t know why, but my fries were sour for some reason. Besides that, everything else was pretty okay. The only reason why I gave the service and atmosphere a 4/5 is because I came right before closing time, of course the atmosphere and service isn’t going to be the best. At that time, literally no one wants to work, and yet they still gave me my order quickly and correctly, which is something I can respect. And yes, I get that the food may not be the best at 9pm, but it doesn’t excuse my fries being sour, I would have expected them to be cold instead.“

“I don’t usually leave reviews for fast food, but the service I received at the Chesapeake (Eisenberg location) McDonald’s drive-thru deserves recognition! A couple weeks ago in the AM, I was helped by a younger teenage girl and a younger woman—unfortunately, I didn’t catch their names, but they absolutely made my day.

The younger girl was so polite, cheerful, and clearly took pride in doing a great job. Her positive attitude was contagious. And the older woman—wow. You could just tell she loved her job. Her energy, professionalism, and genuine warmth reminded me of what great customer service is supposed to feel like.

It’s not every day that you leave a drive-thru smiling because of the people, not just the food. This team went above and beyond, and they deserve a huge shoutout for representing the McDonald’s brand with pride and joy.
