Frequently run out of diet cokes, soggy fries. Once had no hamburger in my hamburger. so so good all around. Staff is pleasant. Lately there have been homeless people hanging out in the back parking area where many people park to eat. I support homeless shelters, and people, and my heart breaks for anyone in that life, but it is not conducive to a relaxed meal. I now try to go to McD on Portsmouth Blvd near Taylor Rd in Chesapeake. More efficient all around.
If its not catering to children for the atmosphere it will always be a two.
Every Tuesday I go to McDonald's for my children to get happy meals so that I can have therapy as soon as we get home and every Tuesday at 5:00 they don't have a Happy Meal french fry chicken nugget ready you always have to pull into a slot and wait for them to bring you out something that should have been fast food I cannot understand how they don't have the McDonald's staples ready at 5:00 p.m. when people are getting off work it is the most frustrating thing to sit in that...read full review

Overall, it is a decent dining experience with a play area that looks clean and safe for children.
The play place has its own area with tables and a door to close it off, allowing kids to play safely. The tables and chairs in the play area are always clean, as is the bathroom in that area. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the convenient play space, especially on rainy days.
However, some customers have experienced slow service at the drive-through, with frozen Cokes often being unavailable. The lack of information about the availability of frozen Cokes on the online ordering app is also a frustration for some customers. Additionally, some customers have found the service to be lacking in cordiality, with employees sometimes appearing indifferent or unable to understand the customers.
