Panera Bread in Chesapeake

“This location has always been my favorite and l still prefer it. I've been to others which are good, but l will leave Virginia Beach to come to this Chesapeake location. I get the same thing all the time but my sandwich and salad always taste better here. It never fails.“

“Tara at the front register absolutely earned this 5-star review.

We ordered using the self-service kiosk, but I couldn’t get my receipt emailed to me. I asked Tara for help. She couldn’t print it herself, but instead of just saying there was nothing she could do, she went to the manager to find a solution. After getting more information from me, she actually came looking for us while we were eating in the back of the restaurant and personally brought me the receipt. That’s outstanding customer service and shows she genuinely cares about her customers.

The restaurant was also very clean, which made for a great experience.

The only reason I’m giving this location 5 stars is because of Tara. She was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Unfortunately, when we left, I said goodbye to one of the managers (the woman in the blue shirt I think she was annoyed I made her print the receipt), and the interaction wasn’t nearly as welcoming. Tara, however, completely made up for it with her excellent attitude and service.

“I went through the drive-thru the other day and ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and it was amazing. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had from Panera. Arilee at the drive-thru was also super nice and made the experience even better with her great attitude and customer service. Huge thanks to her and the team!“
