“We were going to go to the 5 guys nextdoor to which wich but they didn't have any pictures of their food so we figured the food must be better at which wich and boy was it! So glad we went there, definitely found our sandwich shop! The food was so good! The service was very friendly and helpful with it being our first visit! For the same price you'd pay at subway the food and service was so much better! Well worth it!!! Free cups for our first visit as well!“

“I've been coming here for almost 5 years, and I've had consistently positive experiences. The customer service is always friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious every time. I especially love the chocolate croissant!

The only issue is that when I place an order at the kiosk for coffee, I still have to wait in line to get a cup—I hope this can improve.

“Seems lunchtime isn't the time to go to Macados Christiansburg... Went today sent someone in at 1pm to order food so it would be ready when I got there after my haircut. I walked in at 1:30. no food ??? Finally at 1:45 asked to get the food to go as 45 minutes at lunchtime was unacceptable... The bartender seemed to be a bit stressed seems that had been going on all lunch. Where was the Manager NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!!! No wonder why your restaurants name is MACADONT'S... Do better people Suck Less!!!“

“Primero pupusas para mi. Delicioso! First experience with Salvadorian food and it was great. The curtido was fresh and crunchy. The salsa in the smaller cup was spicy with a very good chile taste. Chicharonne pupusa was flavorful and well seasoned. Jalapeno pupusa was very cheesy with nice fresh peppers. I had never heard of loroco, so naturally had to try it. It reminded me of a mix between artichoke and asparagus-this was actually my favorite of the three! It's over an hour drive for me, but I will be back. Looking forward to trying my first tacos de lengua and tortas! Thank you for bringing diverse food to our area!“

“Not just the coolest bar and nightclub in Blacksburg, it's the ONLY cool bar and nightclub in Blacksburg.
No one else is hosting any live music in town (yeah, OK the Lyric, but it's once every other month) and they are booking great regional talent. For instance, last Saturday featured a ten-band metal showcase starting at 3pm followed by a rave.
Beyond that, the space is big and dark so you don't have to worry about elbow room unless there is an event, the TVs aren't constantly set on ESPN, the people are friendly and service is fast.
The Milk Parlor and a couple other stores on the same block are some of the final holdouts of the Ye Olde Blacksburg. So if your cool Brooklyn friends are in town, bring them here so they don't think you've gone to college in a Virtual Northern Virginia populated by meatheads and squares, and that in ten years you'll wind up assistant manager of some sad hotel in a town even less cool than Blacksburg.
The food is great. To properly address the limitations of their menu would require a paragraph about Virginia's stupid alcohol and kitchen regulations.“
