“Usually First Watch is very good. Good food and good service. Kind of a slow wait, if you get there around 10am on Sunday. Unfortunately, Sunday, April 21 wasn't as good. Got there about 7:45am. Hubby and I got sat to the left of the bar area. Sat for about 10 minutes. A guy, by himself, got seated in the same area. He was served his coffee and his order was taken. I said to the server, "Don't forget about us over here." She looked over and then left. We waited a few minutes, then got up and asked to speak to the manager. He said sorry about that, we can seat you in another area if you'd like. I noticed the server starting out, then she turned around and went the other way. Not sure what her problem was that day. So we went to IHOP, got sat and served right away.“

“Wow! This place was really good. We typically don't like chain restaurants. However, this Bahama Breeze surprised us. The Honey Butter Crispy Sandwich had a simple presentation but was full of flavor. Hubby paired it with a tasty bowl of Black beans and Rice. My Island Snapper was perfectly delicious-- colorfully put together with fresh mangoes, red onions and avocado, plus a generous portion of well seasoned snapper over a bed of white rice surrounded by a decadent lime sauce. For dessert, we shared the Flaming Pineapple Butter Cake. Again, just wow! The table side rum flambe was a great ending to our lunch. We enjoyed our Island Snapper so much that we ordered 2 more to take home for our dinner from our great server Logan.“

“I’m from NC but this was a meeting location for me & my daughter’s dad this past weekend. I ordered take out as I waited on his arrival. I ordered the tilapia with rice and beans. Everything was absolutely delicious. The tilapia was crisp & seasoned to perfection. I’ve never had limes squeezed on my fish (I’m usually a hot sauce & vinegar girlie) but the limes were a nice twist. I can’t wait until I’m able to visit again to try something else on the menu! On takeout they take care of you with utensils and sauces. One of our favorites are chicken, fried rice, and shrimp and broccoli. Also must try the spring rolls. Great family owned small business. We had a couple minute wait for our outside table. There were 3 of us and we ordered drinks and appetizers to share. Desi was our server. She was attentive and cheerful (not annoyingly so). The Bang Bang Shrimp, Potstickers and my favorite Ahi Tuna Wontons were wonderful! Cocktails as well! We all had been regulars up to about 18 months ago as the service was atrocious. “As authentic as it gets. Highly recommend the spicy chicken halal ramen. The broth had a great flavor and there was a generous portion of noodles. Most ramen places in the DMV play it safe with a high sodium broth and offer chili oil on the side, it was nice to have something different.“
