“Best birria tacos ever! Make sure you get the sides, rice, beans, esquiotes (elotes in a bowl). It was so good we got food to go to eat tomorrow. We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“Last night was my husband’s and my first time dining here, and it truly left an impression. One of the first things we loved was the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the community. As soon as you walk in, there’s a sign explaining how meals are donated to local women’s shelters and how guests and staff can pay it forward by purchasing meals for those in need. Anyone facing a tough time can simply take a ticket from the wall for a prepaid meal such a thoughtful and meaningful concept.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal (I wish I remembered her name! -- She had long red wavy hair). She took the time to walk us through the menu, shared her personal favorites, and recommended several must-try tacos. Let me just say… she did not miss!

Every single bite was bursting with flavor. We tried the birria, Havana, Rus & Gus, and Peruvian chicken tacos, along with the street corn salad and veggies on the side and everything was incredible. From the food to the service to the heart behind the restaurant, this place checks all the boxes.

Safe to say we’ve found a new favorite spot and will absolutely be back.“

“This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. The presentation was great as well Can't wait to come back.“

“The BEST Mexican food truck in the area! It is super authentic and always fresh. The food is amazing but in particular they’re made to order tamales. You have to contact the owners wife and get a minimum of 12 either chicken, pork, or rajas but trust me it’s worth it!“

Very authentic and honestly by far the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in VA. Moved from Cali a couple years ago and had not found something like home ❤️🇲🇽 Highly recommend. “Maybe it’s expectations, but we came here just looking for a quick Mexican fast-food style lunch, but ended up getting much more than we expected. Ordering was smooth, the selection was large, and the taste authentic. What really surprised us was the quality of the food, as it didn’t feel like fast food at all. The creamy cheese poured over the taco was the highlight, both looking and tasting fantastic, and even the chips and cauliflower tacos were flavorful and authentic. The atmosphere is a fun mix between indoor and outdoor dining, casual restaurant and bar, with sports playing on the screens. And to top it off, the quirky restroom sign for “aliens” added a bit of extra fun to the visit. Overall, Taco Rock truly rocked for us!“

“On 12/4/25 my wife and I visited Anita's for lunch. It was not our first visit, but it dawned on us during this visit that this restaurant had many of the features which we were looking for for a large family gathering on 12/10/25 following an outdoor funeral/burial in Fairfax: a separable part of the restaurant for 30-40 attendees, a large immediately adjacent parking lot, a location already familiar to many of the attendees, an in-house bar, an expandable staff to service our group, an ability for attendees to order from Anita's regular menu and reasonable prices. Our recommendation to choose Anita's was accepted by leaders of our group, our choice was papered with Anita's catering staff and notices of the selection with address and directions were prepared for our group. Our burial ceremony was reduced in length due to the cold weather so that we set out for Antia's earlier than planned. We alerted Anita's of our early arrival. Everything went exceedingly well. Our sporadically arriving group was seated, menus distributed, drink and then food orders were taken and food started to come out of the kitchen. More than adequate supplemental staff had been arranged to serve us by Anita's. Payment arrangements were quickly made with Anita's and, under the circumstances, everyone appeared to have had a memorable visit. I apologize for the length and detail of this review, but I thought that the background of our visit to this remarkable restaurant would better put into context the circumstances of our visit and our appreciation and thanks to Anita's for its handling of the situation.“

“This hole in the wall did not disappoint! I couldn’t read the menu in Spanish but I was assisted in clear English which was helpful and I ordered what was recommended for my hankerings. The beef tacos seemed traditional Mexican style and they were so tasty! I got 3 to the order that were very filling. I’m fairly certain the tortillas were hand made, they certainly tasted fresh and homemade with something like pico & beef inside, topped with radish and cucumber, side of lime and the best sauce. So good! I wish I’d taken a pic because the presentation was nice. I ordered tamales to go and will have them later. They were wrapped very well and kept warm while I sat to eat. It smells delicious.
