“This happened a month ago.
I went to your restaurant last month with some friends who visited me from Italy and they were very satisfied and happy with such a pleasant experience, the food was delicious and the service excellent.
Thank you all.“

“I loved the quality of the food and the experience of cooking the food myself was fantastic. I would recommend to do the hot pot option, it is much easier and offers a margin of error. I gave a 3 star for service because I didn't realize we had a waiter. Overall my experience was one of the best. The environment was clean and inviting and I was able to talk with my friends.“

“Everything is 5/5. Our server was awesome, he even opened the door on our way out, which I have never experienced at a regular restaurant. Felt like a very high-end fine dining experience, with everything cooked to perfection. Dinner menu 80 dollars per person was awesome, I recommend getting shrimp pajeon, corn cheese, octopus salad, cold noodle, and patbingsoo. soft crab soup had more sweet taste so it wasn't as good as I thought, and beef fried rice was mid. Meat was high quality, and the visual when they bring out is STUNNING. Wow bravo this restaurant, they will open one in 14th street in DC and I can't wait to try that experience.“

“One of a kind! Awesome selection of Korean and American snacks. The service is top notch. The atmosphere is upbeat with a lounge vibe. Highly recommend.
Only caveat is parking might be tough during peak hours. Be careful parking in Honey Pig and Rumba lots adjacent to 1943 Classic.“

“Food was fantastic. The service was even better. I went a few weeks ago and lost my receipt, and needed one for my business expense. I called and the gentlemen that answered the phone tracked it down for me right away. This place was top tier all around.“

“If I could give this place six stars, I would! From the moment we stepped through the doors, the warm aroma of sizzling meats and their pepper and salt combo whispered, “You’re about to have the meal of your life.” And boy, was that promise fulfilled. The service? Impeccable. Our server was like a culinary ninja—silent and swift, yet somehow always there exactly when we needed a refill on kimchi or a tip on the perfect grill timing for our food. The food? Chef’s kiss. The beef was so tender it felt like it had signed a peace treaty with my taste buds. The spicy chicken had just the right kick, and the bulgogi? Let’s just say they made me question every other Korean BBQ I’ve ever eaten. Even the side dishes were star players—if I could bottle up their pasta salad, I’d start a black-market operation. What truly made the night unforgettable, though, was the sense of community around the table. Sharing the grill, laughing over who burned their tongue on the first piece (it was me), and fighting for the last fries brought us all closer. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience that fed both the stomach and the soul. Also, a warning: You will smell like glorious BBQ for hours afterward. But honestly, that just makes you the envy of everyone within a 10-foot radius. To sum it up, this place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s therapy, comedy, and a love letter to your taste buds all rolled into one. Go. Thank me later. (But seriously, don’t touch the bulgogi before it’s ready. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.)“

“Best Bul jok bal and mak guk su place in DMV area.
The interior is looking like pocha, so people might come here for just drinking. However, you guys can just come to this place for having dinner. They are mostly delicious.
A place where buljokbal and makguksu are delicious. A taste that cannot be beat even in Korea.
The interior looks like a bar, so people come here late in the evening to drink. However, considering the price, taste, and quantity, this is one of the few Korean restaurants that is worth coming to for dinner.“

“Good beef bone soup coupled with kimchi and rice. I added some salt to the soup which tasted plain at first. The beef was very good though.
Friendly staff and attentive service. We went on a Friday evening and were able to be seated immediately.
A free parking lot was available around and behind the restaurant.“

“The food was really delicious, just like what I used to eat when I went to visit my grandmother in Korea! Tofu stew, jjolmyeon, and kimbap with a lot of perilla seed powder, and the side dishes, especially young radish kimchi, are the best.... In this time of rising prices, the price and quantity are good, and the taste is truly the best!“

“We've been to many, and this is the best Korean BBQ in the entire DMV. The food quality is so good and the service and atmosphere were above and beyond. They have extensive menu options outside of the KBBQ as well, which is something a lot of other places don't offer. The meats are quite pricy, which was the only downside, but the entree prices seemed fair. We can't wait to go back!“

“I am sure Korean food is the best when tasted in Korea. That's why I'm not a big fan of Korean restaurants abroad. However this one, Rice Bar in DC satisfied me for real. 다만 제 느낌에 1회용 숫가락이 좀더 크면 좋겠고 젓가락에 일본어 적힌 점이 아쉽.. 그래도 또 들리고 싶네요.“

“Been here a few time with my friends and it has been consistently a great time! The spot is nice, staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms are well maintained, the tech is easy to navigate. There’s just a lot of good things I can say. I will warn you, the Karaoke is pricey (can’t remember off the top of my head) and the food is great but expensive, so eat beforehand if that is a concern for you.“

“Absolutely love Qui, it’s my number one kbbq spot but they’ve definitely lost a star after switching out their sauce (the Gochujang type one). If you’re gona switch out a sauce I think it should atleast taste similar or be the same consistency. This one is grainy and doesn’t even taste good. Definitely took away from the experience. It also looks like tomato sauce. Other than that, my experience there is always amazing. Pls switch back the sauce lol“

“Saturday night dinner for a group of 6, and I was able to reserve a table about 2 hours before arrival. The best items we got was the stir fry octopus dish with noodles. Must order. Absolutely delicious, not too spicy, perfectly cooked, a crowd pleaser. The banchans are yummy, and every dish except the cabbage kimchi was vegetarian, which was helpful for the one vegan in my group, and they were able to find good options on the menu as well. I ordered the individual combo, with the pork stir fry and seafood tofu soup. My friend who ordered galbi got a lot more meat than I did, I was jealous. Everything was delicious. I ordered medium spicy level for the tofu soup, I could probably gone for spicy. A friend who is sensitive for spicy food regretted getting mild and said they could comfortably handle medium. Another great Korean food option in Annandale.“
“A lovely little cafe on the first floor of Barlow Building. The ladies are very nice and the food is quick and fresh.

Mad for Grill, a Korean restaurant in Annandale, VA, is a spot that will keep you coming back. The “조기구이정식“, Grilled Yellow Croaker Set) is exceptional—perfectly grilled with deep, rich flavors. The side dishes (banchan) are like little appetizers, and the Kimchi is hands down the best I’ve ever had in any restaurant—fresh, flavorful, and incredibly special. It’s a taste that’s sure to impress, especially for those new to Korean cuisine. Plus, the convenient location makes it an easy choice. If you’re after authentic Korean food, Mad for Grill is a must-visit!“

“It was a really delicious meal.
I was completely surprised by the size of the cutlassfish.
However, I didn't know that lunch was not available on weekends, so I ordered two for lunch. I also added dumplings..haha
Lunch and dinner prices are different.
Although we couldn't confirm it.
It was a more delicious grilled fish meal in the U.S. than in Korea.“

“Literally EVERYTHING on their menu is DELICIOUS! I Love the teriyaki chicken, the beef bulgogi, and their chicken pesto panini 🤤 They are also very very generous with the amount of food you get. For example their chicken panini has a HUGE piece of Chicken breast in it and the mozzarella cheese are HUGE and thick fresh slices. The word "skimpy" is unknown here 🤤 They have an AMAZING drink selection as well. Really love how many different types of Green Tea they have. If you have a chance to stop by or you're close by, I highly recommend you give it a try. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas.“
