“Heard this place was great for Sunday brunch. Made a reservation and was so pleased with the ambience when seated; when looking over the menu, we felt certain we had been handed the wrong one because it was 11am and there were no brunch items to be found! But sadly, there is only this one menu regardless of day or timing. Very disappointing!! We pieced together some soup and appetizers as a “brunch” meal; the food was very good and our waitress very kind. However, we did send our comments to the chef expressing dismay that a brunch spot offered zero menu items that were even close to being considered brunch options!”

“Easily one of my top five dining experiences, anywhere. I've eaten at some of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in NYC, Philly, and D.C., and days later I'm still thinking about my meal at Albi.

The BBQ lamb kebabs were a core memory taste moment. Honestly, they may have ruined lamb for me anywhere else.

Other standouts: the sfeeha, foraged mushroom hummus with wood-fired pita, batata harra potatoes, bbq prawns, knafeh, and the super intriguing urfa biber caramel soft serve (a must if you're into sweet and spicy desserts).

Beyond the food, the service was just as memorable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server Todd was a total gem.

“The Prime Rib sandwich and the Mediterranean Salad were excellent and the servings were generous. Great place for watching games as they have many TVs set at different games. Placement of TVs are set so you can see several games at one time. Cam was our waiter. He had an outgoing personality and great sense of humor. He provided excellent service. I highly recommend Tom’s Watch Bar.”

“I seldom have an experience worth posting about, but this was one of them. I was in the area for a work conference and decided to grab lunch at Surreal. I wasn’t expecting much and wasn’t sure about the all you can eat menu, but it was incredible. I had three rounds of orders with server recommendations. Shout out to Marcus for the phenomenal service and recommendations. Everything was delicious. Every. Single. Thing. The outdoor seating was great too and let me enjoy the nice day. In short, I came in just looking for a quick lunch, and left feeling like I just had a Michelin-star dining experience. It was, you could say, Surreal. I highly recommend this place.”

“We enjoyed the chicken curry, the paneer tikka masala, the non-veg thali, garlic naan, chai tea, mint mojito, galub jamun and kheer. We were visiting DC, and the food was so good we came in a second night. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff and owner very professional and personable. Highly recommend.”

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.”

“The Sea Bass was a total suprise. More often than not I am dissapointed when I order fish. Not the case here. The presentation was superb. The blend of flavors, textures and colors was an epicurean delight. Our waiter/bartender Damany was thoughtful, always on point without being intrusive. “Dining in Succotash was a pleasant experience. The interior is beautiful and the staff is friendly. As a fan of the Culinary Show, we are lucky to have tasted KY fried tofu and Ribeye Kalbi appeared on the show. I strongly recommend the Ribeye. It was very juicy and satisfying.”
