Staff is really cool, food is excellent! They offer free military drinks.
This location was pretty decent. The employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The Jamaican jerk turkey sandwich was on point and good. I tried the beef brisket sub and it was meh. I wouldn’t order it again. I was a little disappointed I was thinking and expecting the brisket to be a thick juicy piece of beef. This 5 star review is for the employee named Hana (i'm not sure if this is how you spell her name) but it's the African lady. She gave us amazing service and was so helpful and kind. I felt so bad for her because she was working ALONE today 8/16/2026 and she was taking care of every single customers even Uber/Doordash deliveries. Firehouse Subs Kingstowne is a place that serves great food. The bread is great and the sandwiches are made well. The restaurant is clean and has a good concept. They use FULLY compostable packaging, which is a nice surprise. The staff can be varying, with some being friendly and others being rushed. One staff member is particularly notable for being hardworking and greeting customers. The food is always top quality, with no missing ingredients and made just like the pictures. The restaurant is open until midnight, which is welcome, but the staff sometimes seems overwhelmed, especially when handling catering orders. The mac n cheese and potato soup are popular sides, but their quality can vary.
