“Delicious food and the wait staff is fabulous!“

“The waiter was amazing! I didn’t catch his name tag but he was working the late shift by himself and it was busy since it’s Ramadan and people eat breakfast very early. He was able to accommodate everything we asked for and with a smile and genuine happiness to take care of us.
The place was very clean and the staff is very quick to clean thoroughly after each customer.
I just wish they had halal meat options. They were also out of the gluten free pancakes and this is the second IHOP this month that has told me that. Must be a regional shipping issue. I’ll definitely return here again because they’re 24/7 now.“

“Excellent meal for Valentine's Day! We had the special Valentine's Day menu (pretty much all new entrees) and it did not disappoint. The pork "spring roll" was amazing, as was the beef with grits and wish they could appear on their regular menu one day. The service was excellent as always. The wine was delicious and reasonably priced for the bottle.“

The Japanese uni was beautifully presented, and the tuna was a deep, rich red that melted in my mouth, finished perfectly with a delicate sprinkle of truffle oil. They blew my mind; specially the mushroom soup. It was amazing! I also like that the Persian bowl was a feature by an Iranian chef recently arrived to the country. The ambience and service were outstanding as well. And I loved that I could, for once, speak Spanish without feeling intimidated.“

“If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.) This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast. It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather. The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.“

“We sat at the high tables, because we didn't have a reservation, but we received great service. The bar area gets crowded so we were lucky to get a seat and experience their 3 course meal. Every course was delicious and felt like a treat.“

“First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.“

The service was good, you only see the server when they bring you the food and you are gonna pay, other than that you order online, yes, even if you’re seating in the restaurant, odd but okay.“

“We had a great overall stay and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The location was excellent—very convenient and within walking distance to many of the museums and main attractions, which made getting around with our family incredibly easy.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. That said, our room did feel a bit cramped for a family of four, and we found the lighting to be somewhat limited. The bed was also softer than we prefer, which made it a little less comfortable for us.

We did have an issue where some of our laundry was accidentally taken by housekeeping, likely mistaken for trash. While that was frustrating, the hotel staff was responsive and helpful in addressing the situation, which we appreciated.

On a positive note, the café was fantastic—both the food and drinks were excellent and something we looked forward to during our stay. We also really enjoyed meeting Garnet (“Mr. DC”), who was friendly, engaging, and added a special touch to our experience.

Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a very good stay and would consider returning, especially for the location and service.“

“I have came every weekend for a Turkish breakfast for years. My favorite breakfast ever. The family that owns it are the best and makes it feel like you’re right at home 💕💕💕 they have such good lunch and Turkish street food at night too“

“I will start with this, I love Rose Ave.

I came in today at 10am and was deciding on a drink I wasn’t sure I would like because it might be too sweet. The cashier was genuinely kind and reassuring, and told me that if I didn’t like it, I could always change it. That made me feel comfortable trying something new.

Unfortunately, the drink did end up being too sweet for me, so I went back to the barista to ask if I could switch it to something else. The response I got was honestly kind of a bummer. She sighed loudly, exchanged dirty looks with another barista. She also tried to convince me the other drink would be even sweeter, which wasn’t even true. It made me feel embarrassed for asking, especially after being told it would be okay to change it.

She wouldn’t even look at me when I went back to pick it up and tell her thank you….

I still love this place and will continue to come back, but this experience was a big reminder that customer service matters just as much.“

“We had the absolute best experience hosting our wedding at Casamara. I was so impressed with how smooth my wedding day went! We were so excited to be their first wedding - the entire team behind Casamara, Reynolds and SIXTY DC truly came together to deliver on the wedding of my dreams! Everything ran seamlessly which made the day feel effortless and stress-free. The ceremony on the rooftop was absolutely stunning and very DC, with the sunset as our backdrop and the top of the monument in the background! Reynolds was the perfect spot for cocktail hour- swanky, sexy, and such a vibe! The cocktails were expertly crafted and the passed hors d’oeuvres were plentiful and delicious. We were back on the rooftop for our party- the layout was just perfect for our cocktail-style party and dinner was absolutely incredible. Everything we’ve ever ordered at Casamara has been amazing, and this night it was no different - we had the best of the best. Chef Matt is really an unbelievable chef, a master of his craft. The desserts were a huge hit, Cassidy wins the award for best chocolate chip cookies in the DMV and her chocolate mousse is unreal! Jonathan and Gabriel were our bartenders and Jessamyn ran point on service - I was so happy to have them, they had great energy until the very end! The service was truly impeccable from start to finish - the team was on top of their game and the everyone at Casamara, Reynolds and SIXTY DC made our wedding weekend such an amazing success. A huge thank you to Katherine who helped bring our vision to life- I am forever grateful for her! Michael and Dmytro, these two brought the party! “I thoroughly enjoyed Dining at Bistro Du Jour! The greeter (Ian) was welcoming and friendly and our server (Dave) was equally as personable and attentive. The menu selection was extensive. I enjoyed the mussels, cheese platter and the Tuna Niçoise salad. The ambiance of the restaurant was conducive for our conversing while dining! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food and ambiance and plan to return again in the future!“
