“I go to this location since it is very close to work and on the way home, the food is okay, their entrees have more veggies than protein,of course their portions changed as well for the last couple years BUT their workers are super nice and pleasant. Brandon is a gem, such a nice person, always kind and friendly, every time i go there( after a loooong tiring day of work) this kid makes my day. His professionalism and devotion are remarkable. This kid deserves a raise and recognition.“

“Peter changs is the most authentic Chinese restaurant that I know of. a close second would be Full Kee on horsepin off of broad. but P.Cheng's is a combo of traditional grandma like made hot pots with a twist of today to some beautifully created food art type appatisers. the scallion bubble packed is a delightfully fun munch. we ordered peking duck for take-out tonight. my husband will drive across town to get it as we are in Midlothian. the online order menue is not working. the price listed is 35.00. However the menue will not allow me to even register or order. I called we were told the price of the dish is 65.00$$$! we have pking duck 1/yr on NYE and it's my favorite Chinese Dish . so we bit the bullet and ordered. when we asked about the price difference we were told something that y'all should know.... we were told ...oh. we rais our prices around Christmas! Well thanx PETER CHANG. This better be the Best pking duck I could even imagine. This is what you think of your customers SMH.. I'm not sure that I will continue dinning with you in the future. what a shame. such good food and during the Christmas season most places offer something special to show appreciation to their patrons. But your establishments behavior reminds me od a certain Character in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. lol interesting that the Walt Disney version of this story Scrooge I'd played by a Duck... 😆😅🤣😂 I'll report back after my husband returns with this golden dinner.“

“Fast delivery, super hot food, and honestly the most amazing Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. 👍 👍 Mongolian Beef was perfect. Egg rolls and wings were super tasty, but the Crab Rangoon’s… the best ever!“

“Food was phenomenal, but the smoked duck and the grouper special were just unbelievable. I wish I'd gotten the name of the guy that suggested we try it when I called, he wanted to know what I thought so here's your answer.“

“After this place has been on “RVA Restaurants to Try” list for about 3 years, this was our first time eating at Fat Dragon, but it certainly not be our last! The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles. The garlic chicken and basil beef were both so tender and flavorful, I would highly recommend them both. And last but not least, our server was great! Do not wait to try this place like I did!!!! Go now!“

“I've been happily stopping at Hunan East, nearly every Saturday, to fill up a take-out tray from their buffet, which has many healthful options, with stir-fried meat and vegetables, all cooked just enough. I get enough food for 4 meals, for the price of two, and that's with a tip (just my choice, not expected, and I serve myself).“

“My daughter and I stopped here for lunch, and it was amazing! We finally found some delicious dim sum with great portion sizes and excellent customer service. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back for more. There's a lot of variety, and I especially love that they offer roasted pork, duck, and chicken!“

“Try the steamed whole fish (striped bass), pork dumplings in chili oil, dry fried green beans, spicy wood ear salad, Piao Xiang popcorn shrimp, Zhangcha Tea-Smoked duck or hot spicy pork ribs. Tiger lager is excellent. It's the Sichuan equivalent of a Cantonese place like Full Kee in terms of quality, execution and flavor.“

“I’m biased, I used to work for Tina. Yeah she can be rude. But she also gave me and my friends decent jobs, celebrated Chinese new year with us, and let my Dad hang out at the restaurant when I worked on holidays. I’ve dealt with ruder restaurants in NYC for double the price. The food is good. She’s usually overwhelmed with orders when it’s busy and English isn’t her first language. If you want to avoid any issue when you order just say it how it’s listed and don’t ask specifics or changes. “Mock Ham Lo Mein Extra Spicy” and say “that’s it.” If you’re looking for a bespoke experience this ain’t it. Hungry and want a a lot of Chinese take-out with a bunch of vegan options? This is the spot.“

“The food is AMAZING. The eggrolls were missing from my doordash delivery, and I called and he was ready to use his resources to make sure I got them and I heard the woman telling him she was sure they were in the order since she cooked them to order. I placed a second order the next day and he included the eggrolls with that order. The food is so good, and the customer service is seriously on point as well. On the rare occations that I do order food, this will 100% be my go to, the singapore curry noodles are out of this world (and I am not usually a fan of curry). I very highly recommend!“

“Tonight we had the pleasure of having a waitress named Nik. She was attentive, communicative and warm. She made sure our refills were well timed, checked in after she dropped off anything to our table to ensure the quality was up to par, and overall had a very warm demeanor. We did however have the displeasure of having the veggie spring rolls which were soggy, flavorless, and better suited for a gas station heat lamp. The Changs spicy chicken was okay if you like your chicken sweet instead of spicy. Would return for the service alone, but absolutely will not be ordering those dishes again.
Dietary restrictions: Server will ask about allergies, many gluten free and vegetarian options,“

Vegetarian options: The mock items are great, variable texture and taste depending on the dish“

“Excellent. Each crab Rangoon has me over the moon to the tune of the delicious Rangoon filling. The doughnuts are perfect pampered pillows, each lovingly primped with sugar, every orb a galaxy of the miraculous class of reaction known as maillard.“

“Excellent hole in the wall takeout spot with amazing food. I drive by all the time and finally decided to stop in. It smells so good in there! I ordered a pu pu platter and was pretty happy with it. It had:
Spare ribs - not overly saucy and excellent flavor and tenderness
Rangoon - these are savory but not a strong flavor. Plenty of filling. No sauce to dip in though
Jumbo fried shrimp - Nowhere on my side of town has this! These are huge shrimp fried in a fluffy batter. So. Good.
Pork egg rolls - These were good! They definitely tasted vegetable-y to me.
Steak on a stick - 10/10. Great flavor, tender, and not like a 3 inch strip. You got a good size
Chicken wings - These are full sized chicken wings (all three sections). Amazing crunchy exterior and the meat was well seasoned
I appreciate the use of plastic containers as well. I can't stand getting takeout in melted Styrofoam boxes. They stuffed as much as they could in my takeout container and put the eggrolls in a classic paper sleeve on the side.
There were two of everything. $17.11 after tax and before tip for it.
The woman who took my order was super friendly. She's the only person I saw but I heard her talking to someone else. She made sure I remembered a paper menu on my way out!
I'll definitely be back!“

“Old stand by that never EVER disappoints. Been here many times, mostly take out, over the years. Over 20 yrs to be exact.
IMHO Peking is one of the best Chinese restaurants in RVA. Certainly in the top 3. Food is always super tasty regardless of what you order.
Go get you some! 👍🏼“

“Preface: If I ever "look" for somewhere quick to eat, it will be Chinese, and I always order Orange chicken. Some places it's good, others... meh.Lunch break? Of course I'll try a new Chinese take out. I received a pleasant greeting and proceeded with the standard process: order... 10 minutes later food is in hand and I'm whistling back to the truck. Took a short drive to Tuckahoe Creek Boardwalk to relax with scenery.Dragon City Orange chicken is phenomenal!I asked for exxtra spicy and the chef sliced the chilies before tossing em in the mix. Not too sugary, and plenty of orange rinds. Pork fried rice was delicious, fresh and juicy pieces of pork, not some crispy bacon bits. I forgot to ask them to add an egg to the rice, but I can't spoil myself too much.Satisfaction accomplished, thank you!Photo taken down the road at Tuckahoe Creek Boardwalk, check it out!“

“This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…
The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.
If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.
Enjoy!“

“Entrees are some of the best in RVA in my opinion but the fried rice can be a bit greasy some times and the egg roll is wayyyy too mushy. I usually go for egg rolls over spring rolls but not here unfortunately. However I’d rather order amazing entrees like general tso chicken/beef and broccoli and opt in for the soup or spring roll than order somewhere else for a good egg roll but the entree itself is mediocre. The hours are a bit inconvenient but hey just got to catch them when they’re open. I’d recommend this takeout but would be mindful of the store hours and egg rolls“

“The take out is super good. I live in NJ and go to Va. very often. Being near NYC I know Chinese food. This is excellent. Fresh and truely yummy and great value for the price. On top of all that the service is great and super friendly. They smile and are very nice and that alone makes me come back often. Inside is not beautiful to eat in but for take out it is the best in Richmond and I am a picky eater. Five stars for sure. Go and see, it is super.“

“Great standard Chinese food for great prices. Good portions, especially with the dinner combo. Make sure to order on their website (mealage) for the best prices. “Definitely for takeout, not for dining in. So far it’s had the best Chinese food of any restaurant I’ve tried in this area. The pork fried rice has the tasty chopped pork I expect to get instead of the little stringy brown pieces that many Chinese restaurants are using now. However, it lacked flavor. The beef with vegetables has very tender pieces of meat, and the vegetables taste very fresh. It’s very good, but needs a bit more brown sauce. The boneless barbecued pork has wonderful flavor but too many pieces with gristle, so I don’t recommend it. Overall, I’ve had two good experiences with Tings’s so far, and I will be ordering from them again.“

“Came here with 20 family members for a birthday celebration. Everyone in the party thought the food was excellent. The server was very attentive and got whatever we needed immediately. I was surprised that we were the only ones in the restaurant but the atmosphere was perfect.
We live in Short Pump but will certainly be getting delivery from here cause in our opinion this is definitely better than what's around where we live.
Needless to say we highly recommend CCWok 👍“

“The humble setting doesn't tell you what delights are cooked in the kitchen. We ordered out and the food was ready upon arrival. For 5 people we ordered 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. It was more than enough. Spicy dishes were well-seasoned, veggies were hot and crispy, and each dish was distinct.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Perhaps it was the owner who carried part of my order with me to a parking lot! We paid $90 for dinner for 5...
And we had leftovers. We will definitely go back.“

“This is my fast and quality go to for takeout Chinese. Fairly typical menu, lunch and combo specials, but with a few Thai options, as well. I have enjoyed their food dozens of times and they were a staple of mine during the craziness of 2020. It is take out only. Just a heads up. Highlights include, dumplings, hot and sour soup, moo shu, pad Thai, and orange chicken. Get your fav and enjoy the huge portions and good value. Local Family owned and operated.“
