“Ian was my server for Sunday lunch and God I yelled out Hallelujah for his wonderful service! It was my first time here and first time to try Peruvian cuisine. He explained the menu so well and gave me recommendations to guide a lost soul like me to paradise. I got Chicha Morada and Lomo Saltado. Chicha Morada was sooooo good! Lomo Saltado was good but a bit salty for my taste. It’s a combination of soy and oyster sauce so that must be why. But the service was top notch! I honestly couldn’t believe I ate this much in one seating. It was just that pleasant to be here that I just didn’t want to leave!l and keep eating lol. I will definitely come back with my family or friends next time! Go Ian!!“

“The food was delicious . I really enjoyed the fried yucca. It was light and crispy for yucca fries. I really enjoy the chicken, it was flavorful and juicy. The fried rice could have been a little better. It was sitting in the warmer for a while, so it was a bit on the dry side. Overall, great place to have something quick and convenient.“

“It was my first time with my local friend. The atmosphere was amazing. The place was beautiful, authentic, and great food. Service was super slow, but we eventually found out the waitress was alone. She was servicing all the tables by herself, and the place was full. She was very kind. Overall, it was a great experience.“

The chicken is juicy on the inside with a perfectly crisped skin, and the sides—especially the, black beans & rice, and the pico de gallo garden salad—are flavorful and generously portioned. I even had to splurge for a beef empanada appetizer and it was crispy on the outside with a very savory season filling that hit the right spot!

The space is clean and welcoming, with a casual vibe that’s great for families or a quick solo bite like I had. Service is fast and friendly, and even though they were busy, the staff kept things moving smoothly. I especially appreciated the variety of sauces—each one adds a unique kick to the meal.

“What a great place to have real Peruvian food! The Lomo Saltado, Ceviche and Chicken Soup are excellent to name just a few of the extensive menu items. The dine-in restaurant is spacious and inviting, the service is friendly, and the location is convenient. The new management has really done wonders, and creates a very nice dining experience. Take out and delivery options are available, and the prices are very reasonable. This is THE place to experience Peru !“

“I’ve ordered catering from Spin Pollo twice for work events, and it has been a pleasure each time. The staff is always punctual, polite, and very attentive. The food—especially the chicken, salad, and rice—is consistently fresh and delicious. I also appreciate that they offer vegan and vegetarian options, which is perfect for accommodating employees who don’t eat meat. Everything has arrived exactly as requested, with no issues. “LOVED Madina Pollo Reina! We got the chicken kabobs and they were soooo delicious! All of our sides were really tasty, too! We also got vegetable samosas which were perfectly fried! The spicy green sauce with the samosas was great! Definitely ordering from there again!!!! 😋“

“It's impossible not to compare Don Pollo to other local Peruvian chicken places, like Crisp & Juicy or el Pollo Rico. Because of that there's a high bar set. The chicken is fresh, juicy, and well seasoned, but I'd have preferred a more crispy skin. The black beans and rice lacked flavor, definitely needed salt. The fries were where they lost me. They weren't fresh, weren't seasoned, weren't hot, and worst of all, they were kind of soggy. The sauces were very good. You get a bright green spicy sauce, that seems to be made from fresh peppers, perhaps jalapeño. Then there's a mayo based creamy orange colored sauce. Frankly because the chicken is so well seasoned, I don't think it needs sauce, but it's nice to have the option.“

“I don't know how I never reviewed this place in the past... But we'll deserved 5 star! There are many Peruvian chicken establishments in the area, but this one is the best imo. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Took a total Peruvian food noob with me on my latest visit and they were very helpful guiding him along. Flavor is always great. Sauces are delicious. Look forward to my next visit, and will frequently recommend we hit this spot.“

“The biggest mistake this restaurant can make is just thinking about the money, for example, charging or adding the tip. Without the client's consent it is abuse, I do not agree. Tipping is optional and not required. They should improve because we won't go again and I don't mean we are stingy, we always leave good tips but I don't feel good that they charge me this way“
