“Food is good, albeit a little expensive (it's a marina after all). I really enjoyed the crab soup (order this!) and the fish and chips were delicious. Dessert was an unexpectedly tasty surprise. The drinks are a little cloying, so be prepared for syrupy sweetness if you're ordering one of the house cocktails. Overall a lovely restaurant.“

“We have been to Ray's many times over the years & it has always been a nice experience. Tonight was the WORST service we have ever had. On top of that, the stuffed shrimp was overcooked & only 4 shrimp for $35. For the amount of $ spent, it was highly disappointing all-around.“

“Our first time to Chincoteague and camping at Yogi. My husband was told we had to try Capt Zach’s well let’s just say we were not disappointed one bit. The freshest seafood I have had in along time. Our Waitress Valerie was very nice and attentive. If you go just know to go early. You will have a slight wait but you won’t be disappointed for sure. 10/10 will be back and it will be worth the 2 hr drive.“

“My family has come to the island for 6 years now and this is the first time we tried Steamers. My hubby and I came by ourselves as a little date night on a Wednesday evening around 6:30. It was busy, but not overflowing, and there were quite a few large parties. The hostess brought us waters right away and said that our waiter would be with us as soon as he finished up entering the order for the large party beside us. It took about 10 minutes, but Adam came and took our drink and food order and promptly returned with our drinks. We each ordered a ribeye steak cooked to our liking with a baked potato and they came out amazing! I had a side salad and it was excellent (and huge for a side salad)! Literally one of the best salads I have ever eaten! My hubby got the hushpuppies and they were so good too. The price is reasonable for island dining too. This place is so underrated!!! If you are looking for excellent food in a casual atmosphere while on the island, this is the place for you! We will most certainly be back!!!“

“We spent the weekend in Chincoteague for our 65th anniversary. On Saturday we ate lunch and dinner at Bill's. My husband had oysters for lunch and flounder for dinner and was pleased with both selections. I had shrimp for lunch and the fried seafood platter for dinner. They shrimp for both meals were very small and did not have a lot of taste. The clam chowder that was included with my dinner was delicious. The rest of the seafood was average. For sides we had the Granny Smith apple cold slaw and red mashed potatoes with cheddar and hamhocks. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Our cocktails were great, as was the service! We made reservations for dinner. The restaurant filled up quickly but there seemed to be adequate staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would go back again.“

“Great waterfront views and relaxing beach vibe restaurant in Chincoteague. Bara bing shrimp and crab cakes were good. Love the crushes and specialty drinks. Love the sand and outdoor seating -be aware of the birds trying to eat your food. Nice play area for kids. Entertainment most nights as well. During the summer, expect to wait.“

“Went there for a friend's birthday last night,, he ordered the Queen prime rib! I never saw one before,, my friend devoured it. Another friend order a lobster tail,, she was happy with it. I ordered the blackened maui,, I did mention I like mine cooked medium rare,, it was overdone,, I think because of the blackening season they felt they needed to cook it longer. I did send it back,, they cooked it another way but was still overdone! I do have to say that the manager came over & checked & was very gracious & took the order off the bill! I thought that was very professional, & appreciated! I will go back & try something else,, they are trying to do right by the customers!“
