“We love Sandpiper restaurant. The atmosphere, menu and staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed dinner there on a super busy night. My husband ordered the rib eye with sautéed shrimp and the steak was cooked to the perfect ordered temperature and the price was wonderful for all he received (salad, steak, shirmp and asparagus, $55 ish). I ordered what was listed on the menu as the Sanpiper Jumbo Lump crabcakes. They were fine but definitely not jumbo lump. Backfin crabmeat at best. My mistake was only asking if the crabmeat was fresh and not specifically asking if it was indeed jumbo lump. The filler was flavored nicely. Will definitely eat here again but will just order differently.“

“We had a delicious lunch yesterday. I had the broiled flounder with green beans, and my boyfriend had jumbo lump crab cakes. I would totally recommend both. Next time, we will try the milkshakes! I completely recommend Richardson’s Cafe!“
