“Came into town to visit family and had a taste for Chinese food and they did not disappoint at all!!! I had the shrimp w/ broccoli with white rice and it was more than enough as well as very flavorful!! I also opted for the fried crab sticks they also was very FRESH and tastey!!!“

“This restaurant offers a comfortable place to enjoy a meal and spend time with friends or family. The location appeared clean and well cared for, and the staff was professional and welcoming. Everything was handled efficiently. Overall, I had a positive experience and would gladly return.“

“After trying several Chinese restaurants in the local area, Golden City II has become one of my favorites. The vegetable fried rice stands out because they actually include a good amount of vegetables, not just a few peas and sliced onions. I added a few extra vegetables of my own, but the rice was already flavorful and well prepared.

The spring rolls were the weakest part of the meal. They tasted more like frozen, pre-made spring rolls than something freshly prepared in-house, which kept this from being a five-star experience.

What keeps me coming back is the quality of the cooking. You can tell there is care and cultural pride behind the food. I can especially tell when the Mrs. is cooking because the attention to detail, seasoning, and overall flavor are excellent.

Overall, Golden City II delivers some of the best Chinese food I have found in the area, particularly the vegetable fried rice. I returned the next day to order more rice because we ate too much for dinner 😋😆“

“We go here about once a month, primarily because they’re the only buffet in town. They used to put $3 off coupons in the Val Pak, but stopped recently for whatever reason. While the food is good, it’s predictable (they pretty much always have the same items) and if you show up before dinner you’re typically getting older food that’s sat there since lunchtime. Also their prices have gone up considerably since we started going, almost double what we used to pay. There’s a large seafood selection which is mostly unappealing to me, and I love seafood, I just don’t care for crawfish, stuffed crab or mussels. There’s been better buffets in town but sadly they’re all gone now. So, if you’re going, go during lunch or after 5, maybe steer clear of the seafood, and don’t get your hopes up that this will be your new favorite spot.“

“Well my friend wanted me to help him with something so after we finish he ask me wht I want to eat and I said House Lo mein so he try to call it in but they was close when we pull up sohe called this one it was open and I got my food I had a taste for and it was good with the Egg rolls“

“This is my fourth time ordering. Each time has been delicious. I was so disappointed when my favorite Chinese restaurant changed owners and I just couldn’t find a new one I LOVED.. this Stir Fry has been amazing each time and tonight blew me away. “Service is friendly and food is great. I had the pork fried rice and I asked for extra extra spicy and they were very accommodating. I will eat here again for sure. Staff is very friendly and nice. “Kim's changed to call in order and pickup but still have the same great taste and fast service. They pack the food well and tell you how to carry to reduce spills. The egg foo young is my favorite with the best gravy I've ever had at any Chinese Restaurant. I also got Lomein and fried wings. The Large can feed a family of 4. They are all friendly giving service with smile.“

“This is the ideal restaurant you'd want to patron. The actual inside of the restaurant is beautifully sparce and open, which is exactly what I want in a chinese restaurant. A place that puts all it's effort and care into the food and let's it speak for itself.

I walked in and was immediately greeted loudly and warmly by the woman behind the counter. The prices were incredible and the amount of food you get is beyond generous for the price. The flavor is delicious. There's a wonderful freshness to the food that you can only get when the people cooking truly love the food they make. Unless you have an allergy or something, do yourself a favor and take the food as they make it, at least once. I'm actually sad that I don't live down here, because I don't have any place this good where I live.

“The Shun Xing is a standard Chinese carry out restaurant that came under new ownership in 2026. I go there on a weekly basis and have frequented the restaurant a number of times since the ownership change and ordered a number of different dishes. From my perspective the food meets expectations for Chinese carry out and is very good. Recently I noticed one bad review on chicken with white sauce and spices. I asked the owners to make the same dish for me and my impression was that it was actually something especially tasty, so I am not sure about the concerns of the previous review. Beyond the food itself, I have found the new ownership to be very nice, and it has been clear to me that they aim to please the customers. They also make an effort to clean up after every customer which adds to my confidence in how they run things. If someone is in the area of Langley and wants Chinese food, I would definitely recommend the restaurant!“

“⭐️ 5 stars JUST to get your attention — but this place is DISGUSTING and DANGEROUS.

DO NOT EAT HERE. This is by far the nastiest restaurant I have ever seen in my life. I watched the man cooking the food wipe his nose with his bare hand and then grab rice with the SAME hand and throw it in the pan like it was normal. No washing hands, no gloves, no hygiene — straight filth. And he did it TWICE while looking right at customers like it was nothing. That tells me this is how they always operate.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this place can make people seriously sick. My son threw up after eating here before and now it makes perfect sense why. They clearly do not care about people, health, or basic sanitation. I reported this place to the BBB and I honestly don’t understand how they are still open.

This place is a health hazard and should be shut down. If you value your health or your family’s health, STAY FAR AWAY. Absolutely despicable, nasty, careless, and unsafe. I will NEVER eat here again and I hope this review protects someone else from getting sick. This happened some years ago but I don’t see my review anywhere.“

“Good take away spot. Rice was cooked perfectly with a nice semi sweet sauce. Noodles were also delicious, lots of shrimp in the noodles. Burbon chicken could have used a lot more sauce, but still tasty because it wasn't overcooked. Customer Service was fast and friendly.“

“There is something spectacular here and I hate that this spot isn’t getting more recognition.I knew by the dumplings (fried and steamed) that this place was my precious. It’s always clean in there, the fridge ISN’T sticky , the bathroom doesn’t have the toilet paper or extra sodas stocked in it?. Their kitchen is literally an open Kitchen. You can see the entire thing!!! That might be a little on the petty side, but some arguments petty or not must be outlined.
