“We always have a wonderful time at Riverwalk. My family and I always celebrate here for graduations, new jobs, anniversaries, and birthdays. I have celiac disease, and they always have plenty of gluten free options and are willing to accommodate. It really is difficult to find SAFE gluten free food in York County. FANTASTIC espresso martinis and love how cozy and coastal it feels in the indoor dining area. Food was delicious, huge portions, and I felt safe eating here!My husband and I came for our 4th wedding anniversary, and the manager, Brad, and our server, Corey, were wonderful. “Can get really busy and the wait can be a little long, but the food and drink never disappoint. All the staff are friendly.
The taco bowl with chicken is phenomenal and the spicy mango margarita is delicious!

Update 4 September 2026:
The renovations / additions are great! I think it helps reduce it being crowded. One area they could improve upon is to get their broken fans fixed! It will help with the flies that swarm you when sitting at the outside tables. Or get those little table fans that scares the flies away.

“This Cafe is in the McDonald Army health center on Fort Eustis. Convenient for staff and patients to use. Prices are a little high but the food is more than fair.

Parking: Parking is available. You just may have to walk a short distance to enter the Clinic.

“Not what I expected. It has both a dining and a bar side. We were on the bar side. It was early and we were not into the bar but we're very impressed with it nonetheless. Lots going on in that place. Food was pretty good and very reasonable.“

Understandably, the staff were doing their closing tasks, but I it did impact our service, such my husband had to ask for what he needed but it was by then almost the end of our meal. We enjoyed our drinks and half-price appetizers. The onion rings were thick cut like we like them. I got (almost) my usual when I go there, the chicken quesadilla, which was flavorful and was just right. My husband got the Bourbon Street steak and loves it. He mentioned it again this morning.
