“I’m finding it difficult to accurately describe the flavor surprises and texture treats that were presented in every dish! We started with the kale and yogurt appetizer, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Crisp, tart, sweet, salty - astoundingly good! Then our main dishes just carried it forward. I had the crispy pork belly with shrimp paste, and my friend had the oxtail and eggplant. They were like nothing I’ve ever had before, and such unique and enjoyable flavor/texture combinations. “The moment you step in you notice that it's run by elderly people and that's when you know the food's going to be authentic and good.

I'm not Thai myself so I'm not sure how accurate the food is but me and my friends ate our respective dishes down to the last grain of rice and got to chat with one of the ladies for a little bit too.

Based on location I can see why it can appear to be empty, but I saw a number of people grab to-go orders so I know there are people here who like this spot too.

Pricing is pretty reasonable with a good array of options so if you're looking for a new Thai spot to check out I'd recommend this one.“

“One of the best Thai places I’ve been to in a while. The food was amazing and the prices are very reasonable.

For starters, we got the only chicken tom kha and the yum caramelized dried fish salad. Both were out of this world. The tom kha was packed with chicken and vegetables, but the soup itself was good enough to eat on its own. This was the first time we tried a caramelized dried fish salad but it’s probably our favorite now.

For entrees, we got the fish prik glua and crispy duck with basil. Both were wonderful. Each came with a good amount of fish/duck and vegetables. We were too full to get desert but will definitely try next time.“

I'm not really sure what makes it Cajun it's not spicy but it's fried and it's delicious. The gentleman called me over and the nice lady offered me a sample. “Discovered a hidden gem today. Supreme Thai Bistro came up on yelp when I searched halal options in Chantilly. Hadn’t heard of it before and on calling they confirmed beef and chicken being halal. For starters, the restaurant reminds me on the lush rain forests of Thailand...loved the way they’ve set up! For our first post-lockdown meal. We ordered the lunch specials for each of us. For $9 you get tom yum soup, an egg roll and an entree option. We got a beef green curry, and a chicken drunken noodles. Also added an appetizer of chicken satay and another spicy beef salad. Wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to try out some halal options when I could. Must say, was instantly blown over by their presentation. Taste and flavor was also not a disappointment. The beef salad was very similar to ones Iv had in Thailand. The tum tum soup was on the sweet side, but nevertheless very flavourful. Green curry was spot on and so were the drunken noodles. We asked for medium spice level with the spice tray on the side, but I never needed to adjust the spices for my taste. next time you’r craving some halal food, I urge you to try out Supreme Thai bistro if you happen to be in the area.“

“This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. It is located near Main Street and University Drive in Fairfax. It has cute interior decor similar to its other DMV location, and the food is good overall. However, on our last visit, we felt the taste of the dishes was stronger and saltier than usual.

Parking: The parking lot for the office building down the block (on University) is open and accessible after 6 PM. There's also a lot/garage across the street.“

I dined in at Thai Thyme for lunch on a weekday. This restaurant is 5 mins away from where I work and I can’t believe I’ve never tried it until now.
Food: I ordered the red curry shrimp which came with white rice, Thai iced tea and fried wontons. I wish I took a pic of the tea and wontons but I didn’t. Both were delicious. The tea came layered with some type of milk on top which after mixed in made the tea taste sweet and great. The fried wontons were small balls and there were about 5-6 wontons with a sweet chili sauce. The red curry shrimp was the star. It was a perfect blend of spicy and well seasoned. The spiciness was not overpowering and I could taste the coconut milk in it. I do wish the dish came with more rice as I finished the rice and still had. A lot of curry left.

Service: the service was great! I will say, I came to the restaurant about 20 mins after they opened and it was empty therefor I do expect great service. They allowed me to sit where I wanted and immediately brought a bottle of still water to the table. My server checked on me often and was very attentive, even as more customers came in for lunch.

Atmosphere: the restaurant was decorated nicely. It’s small but there is a good amount of seating without it feeling too cramped. They also have a full bar available to sit as well.

Raymond was the MOD and was very helpful. We also had great customer service from the 3 employees working that night, it could not have gone any smoother! The timing of the food coming out was perfect!! Everything from the appetizers to the sushi to the main course dishes were delicious and plentiful.
