“I have noticed some comments on here saying that they were excited to try but when they got there it was closed down, please be patient with the owners guys the husband is a veteran of the navy, the army & the marines he has had some health issues recently and him & his wife who is the sweetest person in the world run the place by themselves so they have to shut it down sometimes when they are not able to make it. We all age one day right so if you are going to show up have your expectations set accordingly and also, show up with some respect.

The regulars of places like this go by all the time do not come to nine mile road or RVA period disrespecting, bullying, or trying to prove points because you didn’t get your way. You will be in a very unfavorable situation.

“I can say that it’s been a while since I been in the actual restaurant and what I saw and felt was a warm feeling that felt good! As I saw some staff putting up holiday decorations, I came in for a hand dipped chicken sandwich that was perfect! The staff was attentive and they smiled when I came to the register and I was very happy to get my service there! Also Kudos to the store on 9mile and airport drive in Richmond VA! Give them all a raise please and thank you!“

“My family and I took my Mother there for her 91st birthday. In all there were 14 of us. The staff took great care of us. We ordered from the brunch menu. Everyone one of us had a wonderful time. The food was tasty, chef (AJ) even came out to say Happy Birthday to his Grandmother! Several of us said we will return again. The dinner menu looks amazing I wanted to stay for dinner but I had to head home and I was too full from brunch. I wish Sweet P's much success!“

“Let me tell you what this Italian place is the 2nd best pizza place I have ever eaten from and I've been all over the country eating pizza their pizza is just like God fathers pizza it's unreal down to the marinara sauce being sweet the pizza being done to perfection and soft I will tell anyone you want good pizza in Richmond or rva zombies pizza is the place to go the chicken and pineapple couldn't have been cooked any better“

“We had never been here before, but we gave it a whirl. The dining area was very clean. The service was very nice. Logan was our server, and was polite and smiled. We asked about their food and he took time to help us with it. The manager also was very nice when we asked go talk to him. To his surprise, we took time to tell him we enjoyed the place. He made sure we got our employee’s name so we could mention in the review. We did not buy the shakes, but if I could have eaten and drank that much, I would have. The price was also very good.“

“My local bistro and honestly nothing beats it. Always slammed for a reason but food is made fresh to order. The service is great. Huge ice cream selection and the best milkshake to be found on this side of town. Prices are reasonable. Good portion sizes. “I ordered the Sicilian pizza for take-out, so service and atmosphere are really not important. However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!“

“I went to the Holly Philly foodtruck located on Midlothian turnpike at the BP gas station. The customer service was outstanding and it was hands down the Best Philly sub I have had in a long time. I ordered their #7 12 inch combo and it was enough food to split for two people. I will definitely be returning!“

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!“

“Stopped by here today and got the lamb and rice and fish with mac n cheese and greens. Everything was delicious but i wasnt fond of the mac n cheese.. alot of people coming in to get food very busy place. The guy that was taking orders and working the register was very friendly and seem to know all his customers that frequent regularly. Definitely recommend this place. Prices were good 👍“

“I have a severe gluten allergy and ordered my food at a very super busy time and Keith from the store jumped up immediately and made sure it stayed gluten free. As someone who travels for a living this made me feel so safe since my entire bill of health is based on this allergy. Being able to find somewhere like this while traveling and someone like Keith makes a world of difference and I wish every person with an allergy or with celiac can find someone like Keith. He needs to be promoted!!!“

This place used to be old Dunes BBQ bldg if that helps to know where they are. Mechanicsville Turnpike. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. “Stopped there for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning. We were amazed at how the staff worked hard to serve customers. It seemed like a well managed operation. Food was great, and our server was a lovely young woman who dealt with another complaining customer with grace and respect. She didn't have to, he was obviously trying to save a couple dollars by claiming that the food was bad (after he and his family ate all of it).“
