I placed a large order just 30 minutes before closing—four chicken sandwiches, a 20-piece chicken tender meal, and their amazing honey biscuits—and everything was fresh, hot, and made to order. That kind of care and quality, especially so close to closing time, really impressed me. The food? Top-tier. The chicken sandwiches were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tenders were juicy with a golden crunch. “My doordash driver was pretty late delivering this to me, but I still got my combo platter piping hot. Got a rather hefty chicken & gyro platter with some pita bread, and it was delicious. The meats and the basmati rice were seasoned, and the cubed cucumbers were a nice crunchy contrast. It's a great spot in the city, and the price isn't bad either. An additional big plus for this joint is that it's open pretty late, and the food is exactly what you need to avoid or cure potential hangovers.“

“I recently located to the Richmond Virginia area from Maryland. Having lived in Baltimore county for over thirty year's I experienced the pleasure of having the ability to obtain my favorite protein (fried chicken) at various locations throughout the Baltimore area. Once I moved to Chester Va all of this changed. Since being in the Richmond Virginia area; I have Googled fried chicken restaurants and numerous restaurants from the list Google provided, from Church's Fried Chicken ( which until they changed their recipe was a childhood favorite) to various mom & pop establishments and none of them had the southern comfort appeal of the fried chicken I remembered from Sunday dinner; that is until I found Lee's Famous. I entered with no preconceived thoughts other than I hope to enjoy the chicken. I approached the counter and reviewed the menu and placed my order for a two piece dark meal (two thighs) with double mashed potatoes with a sweet tea to eat there. My meal was prepared with virtually no wait time and my number was called. I received my order and after obtaining my hot sauce and salt and pepper, I sat down for the moment of truth. I wanted to experience this chicken in it's natural state from the fryer to the plate without anything added; so I picked up a chicken thighs and took a bite. The first thing I noticed is, the coating has a beautiful brown color and is flaky and when you bite into it has a crunch that once your teeth touch the meat, OMG ( oh my gosh) the juices just flow forth from the chicken. Once I put the Texas Pete hot on it, well it was game over. The mashed potatoes are just your run of the mill, but their gravy is in my humble opinion so good that I wish it was available on the retail market. You could use this gravy on turkey and stuffing, smothered pork chops I mean for me the list is endless. The only item I didn't enjoy was the biscuit. The biscuit leaves a lot to be desired. It's hard not fluffy and soft as a biscuit in my opinion should be; I would like to see the biscuit replaced with a soft roll of some type and then the meal would be spot on. However; inspite of the biscuit, Lee's Famous is hands down my go to spot for fried chicken. It's worth the thirty mile round trip. So do yourself a favor and check them out, you will not be disappointed.“

“3/25/26 stopped by after medical appt heading back to norfolk, I ordered nuggets 8 pc, fries, vanilla shake. Order#4513147 @ 11:30:25 reg.# 57 cashier Shadee and operator Greg Williams. The young man was very polite, helped me order and offered a free cookie for the trip back I accepted that chocolate chip cookie (which was the bomb) so was the vanilla shake. I told him I had just left VCU and has a follow up from surgery. I told him they are the bomb! They are very professional workers and they take great care of their patients. Everything was super excellent! I hadn't had chic fil a in a few years because of weight issues but I had a long ride home, no breakfast so I thought I'd get some lunch. The food was at the perfect temp, not red hot just right! The vanilla shake was delicious, hadn't had one of those in years. The cookie I waited awhile to eat but delicious! Excellent, Excellent service! Keep up the good work! Love the heaters for the employees and customers! Your the Bomb!“

“The biggest downside is the traffic surrounding these restaurants. I'm surprised no one has been hurt. If you want to find in it's usually getting past a gamut of impatient drive thru customers. I like the food and service is great but I've chosen elsewhere many times because of the traffic that you have to get through especially with a couple of young kids. I think this has been the same at every chick-fil-a, I'm sure too much traffic is a good problem to have.“

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!“

“Yum. Raising Cane's does everything right - simplicity, speed, chicken, and toast. Despite being right by the Diamond this is our go-to Cane's, it's always pretty fast and the quality is excellent. Game days can get a little slower but not by much. Just beware - turning into the drive through lanes is harrowing since it's literally RIGHT AWAY after turning into the parking lot, so some due caution is necessary to make sure you don't end up t-boned by a car coming from Toast or rear-ended by a car also turning in.“

“I was at the end of a 13-hour shift. I placed a DoorDash pickup order because it was past 8pm and I didn’t have time to cook anything for dinner. The DD app said my order would take 11 minutes but I showed up a little early so the employees asked me to come back thru the drive-thru in a couple more minutes (unusual to allow DoorDash orders to be picked up in drive-thru at all). they saw me and understood I was exhausted. I went and parked out front, to wait to go around the drive-thru again in a few mins. The employees advocated for me and the shift manager herself brought me my order outside directly. I was so grateful to all of them, good considerate people. Thankful 🙏🏻 — she was so kind to me.“

As someone who travels for a living this made me feel so safe since my entire bill of health is based on this allergy. All topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo. But the best part was their new habanero and ghost pepper hot sauce that I added to the wrap. It was so tasty and spicy, it got me sweating. It was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. If you love spicy food, you have to try this hot sauce. Kenn-Tico Wraps is my favorite food cart in Richmond. They have fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a great variety of wraps to choose from. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a satisfying lunch.“

“I had a wonderful experience. I was greeted when I entered and the young man at the register was courteous. I order 4 chicken 🍗 egg 🥚 & cheese 🧀 biscuits. Which if you’ve been to Hardee’s before then you should know that they most always cook the food to order so I knew that I had to wait and didn’t mind doing so if it insures that I will receive hot food 🥘. Not loving this layout as much as others... everything is crammed together at one end...food service, coffee and registers are tight, but tons of open space on floor elsewhere.
Coffee area is too small, only access milk or creamer from sides while only a few feet from ordering station.
Then add any kind of line a register and it's a cluster. Poor design!“

“This is the best Taco Bell food I've ever had in my entire life. I came all the way from Chesapeake Virginia just to come to this Taco Bell. Honestly, I don't understand how this Taco Bell tastes better than all the other Taco bells that I've ever been to. Mechanicsville Taco Bell is the real MVP.“

As always, the food did not disappoint. The Chick-fil-A sauce is, without a doubt, one of the best sauces I’ve had at any fast-food chain—it’s perfectly tangy and creamy, and it pairs perfectly with just about everything on the menu.

I went for the chicken strips, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside—just the way a chicken strip should be.

The seasoning was spot on, and they were cooked to perfection. It’s great to see that even in the fast-food world, Chick-fil-A delivers such high-quality, flavorful food.

“We had never been here before, but we gave it a whirl. The dining area was very clean. The service was very nice. Logan was our server, and was polite and smiled. We asked about their food and he took time to help us with it. The manager also was very nice when we asked go talk to him. To his surprise, we took time to tell him we enjoyed the place. He made sure we got our employee’s name so we could mention in the review. We did not buy the shakes, but if I could have eaten and drank that much, I would have. The price was also very good.“

“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite it was lovely.“
