“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite It was shredded beef instead of ground beef. I put do NOT RECOMMEND and do not know what happened and now I cannot change it!!!!!!’“

“I went to La Playa for the first time about one month ago and have since been 3 more times. Nothing short of amazing every time. The food is incredibly flavorful, the drinks are perfectly crafted and very aesthetic, and the service is friendly. They have put a lot of thought into the details as well which is something that I appreciate, the bar stools and drinking glasses are very cute for example. The first time I visited, my friend and I split the steak fajitas and pollo santa fe (minus the mushrooms that come in it). Both were good but the pollo santa fe was absolutely both of our favorites and what I have ordered every time since. I have gone with a couple of separate groups of friends (including a bachelorette group), my younger brother, and everyone who I’ve introduced to La Playa has absolutely loved and raved about it, eating every bite on their plate. Drinks recs: Any flavor soft serve marg (the swirl option is always good too) spicy jalapeño marg, any of their mojitos. 10/10 Love Playa“

“We just moved to the area and were looking for a good Mexican spot, and we’re so happy we found Kahlo’s! The food was absolutely delicious, and the tacos were some of the best we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was beautiful, warm, and welcoming, and everyone made us feel right at home.

Neither did a lot of other local business, but thank goodness we walked into this friendly establishment!! We decided to stay and eat. This service was quick and direct. The food was to die for. my girlfriend’s family have been coming here for years (she’s salvadoran) and she said the sopa de pollo tastes like home. everytime she eats here food she makes a “mmm” sound so it means she happy.

as you can see below we had a feast (wasn’t the first time) we got empanadas, queso de pupusas (wasn’t as good as her moms), horchata, torte de carne asada, and even sopa de pollo

the food was so good, the atmosphere is cool, the workers speak espanol, and the prices are reasonable. come here if you want a full belly

“ALL THE STARS!!! Every time we visit Dollar Tree we are tempted by the aroma from their smoker, and today we heard beautiful, live music and had to step in. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! The service was excellent despite my poor Spanish speaking skills, and the singer had a powerful and tremendous voice. We cannot wait to visit again!!!“
