“My husband surprised me with reservations here for our 30th anniversary dinner. Anthony lead us to our seating outside overlooking the beautiful view of the water. We were greeted by Avery with a smile and two complimentary glasses of champagne. She provided excellent service which was very accommodating. The entrees were out of this world delicious. Our first time at Regions, and certainly not our last.“

“Our experience was 5 out of 5. This brand is always consistent and dependable. No surprises. Comfortable , clean rooms, nice amenities and easy check in. We had dinner in the restaurant and Izzy was our server. She was so attentive and pleasant it made our experience really enjoyable. We were the only diners and saw many people leaving the hotel at dinner time. No doubt for wonderful restaurants but I suggest they try what the hotel has to offer. Steaks were excellent, vegetables and potatoes cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Thoroughly enjoyed this property.“

“My first and so far only experience with Element was the Valentines dinner - and I can't stop talking about how good the food was. cooked to perfection and the portions were absolutely perfect sized - left me in awe and not wanting a single course to end but space for the next equally amazing course. we left not feeling overly full, but perfectly satisfied. nothing sat too heavy and I've been talking about this meal for 2 days now. I was especially impressed by the filet. I'm INCREDIBLY sensitive to red meat and usually eat a steak knowing my stomach will make me pay for it later unless it's specifically grass fed and grass finished or sometimes I can do grain finished. I went into the meal assuming I'd have to deal with my issues afterwards. at first bite I didn't care how much I had to pay with my body later, it was WORTH IT and then to my shock - I HAD NO ISSUES. the staff were friendly, and attentive. “We have stayed at the Wayside Inn several times over the past 17 years and this past weekend we were amazed at the improvements made. The atmosphere was great, the new dining situation was MUCH improved and the food fantastic. Staff was wonderful. The only drawback was that the air conditioner in our room, the Middletown, was a bit noisy. It woke us up occasionally.“

We were met immediately by the very friendly owners/operators on a very busy Labor Day morning and encouraged to grab two of only a few available seats. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and a Breakfast Sampler. So much food for the very budget friendly cost, and it was all PERFECT! The Eggs Benedict was unbeatable, and the pancakes with the Breakfast Sampler were phenomenal. The hash browns were perfectly crisped and the bacon was on the verge of being crispy but still chewy... supreme!
If you happen by, you must stop. It is even worth going a bit out of your way to come and grab a bite.“

We were seated promptly (of course, we had reserved seats) and or good was served quickly. And, as usual, of food was properly prepared and warm. “Really good food and service! I ordered a flight of beers, the hush puppies, and the “Fest” burger with the veggie patty. Fries were a bit on the crispy side.

The pimento cheese that was served with the hush puppies was sooooooooo gooodddd. Burger was also great, but a black bean patty instead of a quinoa one is my preference. The quinoa is kind of Mediterranean-tasting, so it wouldn’t go with most of the toppings, IMO.

“Ten of us - the Back Road Romeos (Retired Old Men Eating Out) have gone out for lunch and beer together every month for the past several years. This happy and welcoming spot was our all-time favorite within ten minutes. The meat loaf, with mashed, gravy and peas) was a real crowd pleaser at just $5 on Thursdays.
