“We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but they provided us a place to wait and offered us drinks. The service and food were great, and both women had enough of our pork chops and chicken breasts to make another meal for the next day. The staff was very helpful and friendly.”

“True hole in the wall bar and grill in a one stop light town. Creaky wood floors, peeling paint, knick knacks on the shelves, this place has character. Food is a home run... why? Because they take everything an extra step. Example: grilled chicken at every other joint- rubbery frozen chicken breast on boring bun, soft lettuce, mushy tomato. Here: grilled pulled chicken, virginia ham, cheese, spicy mustard/ mayo on a buttered grilled Texas toast... bang ... now that's a party in your mouth. Try the other sandwich concoctions... every one is a winner. Nice, honest folks that work here. You won't be disappointed. Instead of spending your hard earned lunch money at some chain restaurant joint... come spend it at a legit mom and pop establishment. Side note: they're so honest, the name is even legit.... it is actually on the Corner.”

“STB has the best smash burger I have ever eaten. Everything is consistently hot and toppings are fresh. Our grandson loves the hot dogs and both styles of lobster rolls are delicious. Good Luck Cellars, we first visited her several years ago and a couple of times since and ended up moving to the area and are located just 8 minutes away. It is the most enjoyable place in this area. We love going here. We continue to meet wonderful people, enjoy good wine, and good entertainment. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. I highly recommend GLC!”

“So nice to have this gem here in the Northern Neck. We don’t get out to eat here as much as we want to but the food is exceptional every time. And while we tend to drink wine with our meal, it was very evident based upon the number of delicious looking cocktails leaving the bar that they are every bit as well crafted as the food. “My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Hope & Glory! The accommodations were beautiful and charming. We especially loved the flowers in the garden. The Inn was quiet and peaceful. The pool was perfect. We were walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff is incredible and we could tell they put a lot of heart into making sure their guests have a welcoming and special stay. They make you feel right at home. “Our group of 4 ladies had lunch at Little Jimmy’s today. We all had the special, blackened shrimp quesadilla. Two of us had sweet potato fries and two of us had broccoli or green beans. We also had the cauliflower “wings” in the general tso sauce. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! It’s about an hour from us in Newport News but so worth the drive! We will be back!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Visited for the first time for our honeymoon.. The pow pow shrimp was amazing. Had the filets which were not cooked to temp but the waitress brought new ones. They could use salt pepper. The mashed potatoes were probably the best we've ever had! Lobster pasta was good. Our waitress, NaShya is phenomenal ! Her personality is what made our experience over the top. I guess recommendations are expected as the hostess told us we had a time limit. Lol No biggy though. Lovely experience for our first time there! Heaters outside was sooo nice also.”

“It’s Domino’s…. Not a knock in any way. They make the pizza that the chain has on the menu. They deliver, never miss a thing that was ordered, and get it out in the sticks— quick. They’re always friendly when greeting me with delivery and do that every time. And yes, the pizza is hot and the salad is chilled. Thanks for being here in the NN Domino’s Team!”
