“Based on our recent visits, Linden has corrected the issues that caused some of the bad reiews of the past. We are not club members and reserved a tasting in September 2023. My wife was not participating. The staff offered her a choice among several rooms in which to sit and asked if she preferred the windows open or closed, and then brought her a blanket and water to drink - they couldn't have been more accommodating. We were welcome to sit anywhere we liked after my tasting on each visit. The tasting staff were amazing, and were able to explain the winemaking process and vineyard management for each wine poured and were happy to answer questions. Owner Jim Law stopped at the bar a few times. And while I was finishing my tasting, two or three small groups appeared without the requisite reservations. Jim greeted them and said he could do a tasting for them at a separate bar. After my tasting, I joined them just to listen to what Jim had to say about his wines. I declined a pour saying "I just finished a tasting at the main bar." His reply was, "yes, but you didn't taste this one!" as he poured it for me. It was a sublime experience. As a result of the great first experience, I signed up for a special tour a couple weeks later on the day they were sorting the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the once-in-a-lifetime 2023 vintage. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable as she guided us through the vineyard and very busy production areas. Jim broke off his hard work a few times to give us samples of different wines in various stages and to add information. Meanwhile, the staff was keeping my wife comfortable in the winery. It is too bad these stars don't go to 11, because that would match our experiences at Linden.“

“Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I was unable to take a picture of my food to show you. I ate it so quick because it was too good!! The atmosphere in here is like an old school diner. I love the location as well on the historic old Main Street. Beautiful family owned home cooked meals! Anytime you’re looking for a good breakfast you need to stop here! Warning though, it’s cash only! I hope they upgrade that soon.“
“Lovely Inn and restaurant! It was our first time visiting and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and spacious (we were in the Adams room). Breakfast was great and you could choose what you wanted, which I liked! Dinner did not disappoint... great service, high quality ingredients, and executed well. Would love to return in the future!“

“The crab cake super platter is "disturbingly good"!The meal started with a side order of hushpuppies and melted butter. One can tell immediately they were hand made on the spot and fried to perfection.Next came the platter...The very large shrimp were fried to a perfect light brown in color. Butter and sauce are available. The crab cake is something to write home about. Seriously, there are zero-point-zero fillers or binders. 100% lump crab. Buttery smooth and delicately spiced. The sides of mac & cheese and the potato salad were a nice accompaniment but stand in the shadow of the crab cake. The price may seem high, but this is no joke and worth every penny. The open kitchen and casual atmosphere are at odds with a meal that should be served on fine China.“

“My family and I came from out of town passing through and stopped at this establishment. When we walked in first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. We found a seat and Valerie came to our table instantly to welcome us. Our food was fantastic as well as the serving sizes. Prices were very good and not expensive. Both women and men’s bathrooms were very clean as well as the kitchen when I peaked in. My family and I would definitely be back when in the area again.“

“On our trip to Luray Vaverns, tried this restaurant serving good nepali and Indian food. Food quality and presentation was good. Only complain is about the portion of the curries. It can be little bigger so at least two people can have it properly.“

“Delicious food and wonderful service. 5 star in my book“
“An absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--Dederick was attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The tasting room, loft area and expansive patio with breathtaking views were awesome and very relaxing. The wines were all good quality. We preferred the whites over red, especially the Chardonnay- they offer 3 versions- oaked, unoaked and barrel fermented! We brought bottles of all three home. Reds were primarily bordeax style blends, each with unique characteristics. It's rare to find a place that exceeds expectations on all fronts like this. Highly recommend for an unforgettable winery experienc! My rating rationale+1 Service+1 Wine~Taste/flavor/quality+1 Presentation+1 Atmosphere/vibe+1 Value“

“Only here for a few days, and I've already eaten from here three times! Best Thai food I've ever had. The drunken noodles are incredible and they have a very good selection of appetizers too. The staff is also incredibly welcoming and friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!!“

“We loved the food and service here! Portion size is very generous for a great price! My only suggestion is to do something about the bathroom situation. There is only one bathroom for the entire restaurant to share (patrons and employees) and the line can become very long.“

“Food was tasty and authentic. We had Kapow Beef, Ginger Duck, Pad Thai Chicken, and Mango with sticky rice. We also had chicken pho and potstickers. The restaurant is connected to a hotel which it shares the bathroom with and you can see a cool marimba in the back hallway that I took a picture of.Dietary restrictions: You can request they use gluten free soy sauce.“

“Grandma's breakfast for me and my grandson got the French toast with fruit, it looks like a dessert (I can't remember the name of the dish). Both meals were delicious, our waitress was very friendly and made recommendations when asked.“

“Beautiful location and great cider. The cost just feels extremely high to me. It was $40 for a flight of eight 6 oz pours. This was surprising as most flights of four pours run $10-13, so I was thinking around 26 bucks for the eight glasses. I was shocked when they rang up the bill. $5.50 for a small cup of very flat root beer. My daughter didn't even finish it. $60 with taxes and tip.Yet, the cider was phenomenal. I guess you're paying for top shelf quality. They have a ton to choose from and are celiac safe.I rated the atmosphere as a three and that's because they do not have or enforce a leash law for dogs. I am a dog lover and have three dogs. We did not bring them with us and I'm glad that we did not. There were multiple dogs off leash and we saw one pint get knocked over by a dog and then we witnessed a dog fight which included three spilled drinks and some swear words. We often bring our dogs to breweries, wineries, and cideries and our dogs and others are always on a leash. The nature trail was cute and our younger kids loved it.Service was amazing. We will definitely be back but with a little bit more cash in our pocket next time. And without our dogs. The cider was worth the drive.“

“Best pizza in Front Royal. If you've never been to the pot before, get what you think about a pizza out of your mind. This joint is unique and delish. I would call it a thin crust Chicago tavern style. As you can see with pics I am a regular ...my go to? Try a large all the way with pineapples and pizzaz sauce. Their wings and subs dont slack. Check em out.“

“The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the experience were excellent. Everyone working there was so helpful, and we were always met with a smile. The hibachi chef had us laughing throughout dinner and even remembered my daughter's name. It was a great time and a birthday dinner she will remember!“

“Lovely little place. Everyone was very pleased with the service and food. Very attentive and friendly waitstaff. The fish and chips was as good as any I've had, and went down especially well with a Zombie Dust. Our party of 8 also had the NY strip (excellent), the baked chicken (tasty) and the nachos (delicious).A small town treat and well be back! Highly recommended!“

“The food is very delicious and everything, as workers they make mistakes, but they must also understand that when a client orders something, they have to be sure of what they ordered, because on many occasions the client orders something and the servers bring it to them, and When the server takes them away they say that it was something else, they must be understanding, they must also know that if the restaurant is full or something, they must understand that the hard-working staff does their job in the best possible way, we are very grateful that you go to eat there, but you must also be aware that it is not just the waiter who makes a mistake, thank you for your stay, the food is very delicious, and if they make a mistake about something, there are times when they have We have to serve many tables, and not all of them will be given food at once, thank you very much...☺️We, as customers, must understand and be passive with that, because there are also people who get upset that just because the waiter doesn't understand English well or something, they get upset, it's not fair, and also there are people, who are Hispanic, that, when the food is late, it is because the cooks are busy, and try to do their job as quickly as possible, let's normalize that all of this is unfair and that we, as customers, must understand all of that...?“

“The bartender from Saugertis is a customer service pro! She also made good drinks! Our server at breakfast the next morning was also excellent! We only ate breakfast at the restaurant and we enjoyed it. I only have 2 suggestions regarding the atmosphere. There are some lights on the walls that have flickering bulbs. One was by our table. We found them disturbing. The lamps on top of the bar should not be there. They interfere with conversations because you constantly have to maneuver your head around them to talk to others. They are both easy fixes. We would not hesitate to come back! Thanks again for the great service!“

“Upon arrival we were greeted very friendly by Amanda and Whiticar, the owners. It was very kind and thoughtful to be provided warm blankets as we were cold but wanted to sit outdoors. They are both amazing people! Very welcoming hosts as we spoke to them for a long time. They gave us honest recommendations. We spent 3 hours enjoying the view. It was so refreshing and relaxing. The wine and charcuterie board were delicious! Phenomenal place, highly recommend 11/10. The price was well suitable. The quality of the product and view speaks for itself. I wish we would’ve had enough time to go again (I was out of town). Hopefully next time we make a trip back to VA.“
