“We love the food… we eat here often when in Alexandria. Spaghetti Carbonara is one of my favorites! And, my 7-year old grandson gives the kids spaghetti 2 thumbs up!“

“I’ve been coming here for years and always had a great experience. They serve some of the best Italian dishes in all on Northern VA. The place is really clean and the staff are very friendly. It seems to be a favorite spot for locals with a very family friendly vibe. I really like their fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Pollo Bryan. The calamari here is excellent at well. On Monday nights, they have a large 3 topping pizza for only $11.99 which is an amazing deal for a high quality brick oven pizza. They also have prime rib on Wednesday nights which I love to get too. Whenever I meet up with friends at Giradinos, they all say that the food is great too. I need to try some more of their entrees but it’s hard to when I really love getting what I’m used to. Highly recommend this place if you love Italian dishes, brick oven pizza and some good wine.“

From the moment we were seated, Vaughn went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. He was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely cared about making our meal enjoyable. This was our first time at The Farmhouse and Vaughn deserves recognition for making our visit memorable. I would absolutely recommend asking for him if you want top-notch service. Keep in mind the pizza sizes aren’t typical so you may need to order a size up if feeding 3-4 people when you typically may have been fine with a medium.“

“I wish 4.5 was an option, I would give it that rating. I just moved to the Landmark / west end Alex neighborhood so I'm trying out all the local places. I had the Sunday special which was hamburger steak and onions. I thought it was really good, the grilled onions added really nice flavor. I had it with rice which was a nice combination and a side salad. The Italian dressing was really delicious and the salad was fresh. My bf got a gyro and shoestring fries. He said the fries were really excellent and the gyro was okay. I liked that the menu had a few items typical of a Greek diner such as tuna salad plate and chef salad. They had a nice looking full bar with a few TVs and the dining area was nicely kept. Not overly fancy but nice. They had a breakfast menu but it's not served all day. We will definitely be going back to try a few other things like chicken parm or spaghetti and meatballs. I will def get the hamburger steak again. Total price for both meals plus one soda and one iced tea was $41 before the tip.“

“We moved here from Philadelphia. This is the closest to my favorite place back home. Staff is very friendly. This place even takes car of firefighters. Retired from Philadelphia Fire Department. Never asked for the discount. He just gave to me. This is definitely my go to for Italian food.“

“We had never eaten there before. Tried it on the 11th of July, '26 for lunch. The gentleman named Michael was so helpful and personable. There is a lot to choose on the menu: Salads, Subs, several Italian dishes, and of course, Pizza. We ordered Chicken Wings, A Steak and Cheese Sub, and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. ALL 3 meals were fantastic. This is going to be our go to place for subs from now on. We look forward to trying the Pizza. If it's just as good, this will be our go to take-out/delivery place. 5 stars for food and service.
I rated it a 3 for atmosphere, but only because the eat in section is small and VERY basic, but, hey, it's primarily an order food business.

“I felt compelled to review this Paisano’s because not only does my whole family enjoy the pizza, every time I go in here I have a pleasant interaction with the staff. I actually enjoy going to pick up food here after a long day at work. A lot of the staff, especially in the summer, are young, but you can see they are being taught well and learning good customer service from the veterans. My wife and I are both from NJ and have strong preferences about pizza that unfortunately our Virginia-raised kids do not share (one of them said her favorite pizza is from the school cafeteria!). Paisano’s is the one local pizza place that we all enjoy. I only wish the pies were bigger!“
