“First-time customer and did call-for-pickup (ready in 20 mins); arrived and young gentleman immediately greated me and surprisingly apologized to me, that my 12" pizza wasnt ready and needed 10 mins. Appreciated his honesty and sincere customer service (kinda rare these days) offering me a drink and dessert on-the-house. No issues on my end taking time for quality food and service. btw, tasty pizza and philly-cheese + great fries (light+crispy) + tiramasu! we'll be back!!!“

“Got a medium supreme pizza minus onions and added olives on half. Delicious! Have been to this location a couple of times in the past and it was great then too. Service is really good and the guy that took our order was really friendly. Would definitely come back again.“

“Such a nice ambiance. Servers were attentive and food came quickly. There was so many pastas to choose from there's definitely something for everybody. I kinda got decision paralysis from the options but I got the squid ink pasta (spaghetti Neri) and loved it. I think it tasted the best out of our group's dishes and was complex and delicious although the tagliolini Al funghi was a close second. My partner got the short rib ravioli and we both didn't really like it. It was quite salty in some bites and lacked savory-ness in others. We didn't get to try appetizers or try the cheese wheel as we went on a Tuesday but will definitely come back to try those ! Overall we had a great time. Also for parking there's free parking in the garage and this place is located in the hotel.“

“Osteria da Nino is very nice place, family-owned restaurant. It is at a good location, close to parking lot and other shopping centers. More importantly, it is 10 minutes away from Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We had a great welcome by the owner. Our server was Alex. Four of us had a dinner reservation at this restaurant. After dinner, we went to a show (Shear Madness) at John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We ordered the following and here are my ratings Drinks (Baby Amarone, Tito, Spritz, Mojito, Bellini) - 9/10 Food (Octupus, Garlic Bread, Eggplant Parm, Fusili Crab Meat, Margherita Pizza) - 9/10 Desserts (Tiramisu) - **5/10** and Cappuccino - 9/10 Service - 9/10 I always feel there is a scope to improve the quality of the food. So, maximum score is 9 out 10. Tiramisu - It is not to the standard, and it is based on my experience eating Italian food for more than 30 years at other restaurants in NY, NJ, PA, DE, VA and MD. Also, this is my favorite dessert, especially if I am at an Italian restaurant. I strongly recommend Osteria Da Nino and will go back with more friends!!“

Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. “We need more non-corporate places in Woodbridge. This place fits the bill. Has a neighborhood feel with personality, not trendy rather a down to earth place with honest portion sizes. I believe it is mostly family run. While we dined a family filled up a large table beside us and were speaking Italian, which is a welcomed experience in a world filled with Olive Gardens. Husband had no complaint with his pizza and he is a bit of a pizza connoisseur. My Chicken Florentine was liberally stuffed and the sauce extremely rich and flavorful. The times we have gone there several families were dining, but a comfort place for couples, too. Hope this restaurant continues to thrive“

Pizza is probably my least favorite thing on the menu but for those who like thin crust pizza, highly recommend blanca pizza.My favorites: Greek salad, side spinach or a spinach appetizer (same thing), salmon kale salad, chicken limoni, Tuscan chicken, trio dip appetizer (omg - their feta spread is amazing), gyro platter, grape leaves appetizer.This place is worth trying. “Villa Bella is such an amazing restaurant. It can be difficult to get a reservation here as it is really popular in the Burke area, but that's because it is such a unique spot. I love the wood-fired pizzas from here because this style adds to the crispiness of the pizza crust. Calamari fritti is nice and airy, unlike many places where they sometimes make the appetizer too dense or oily. Reasonable amount of salt in the calamari fritti, which impresses me because I don't find that often in the calamari I've gotten from other Italian restaurants. The fried mozzarella and arancini are also some must-haves. Before eating here, I used to not like arancini, but this place has converted me into someone who loves arancini.With pasta dishes, some of my personal favorites are the ziti alla Paesana, manicotti, and ravioli. Their chicken parm pasta is also really good.This cozy restaurant nestled in Burke definitely sets the bar high for Italian food in the DMV and has personally elevated my palate on Italian cuisine. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, and even a faraway drive is worth it in my opinion. I definitely hope to come back here.“

“One of the best places to go for pizza and pastas. Simple, Italian dishes, but really good homestyle cooking. Highly recommend coming here if you are planning to get a grub to eat before a movie. My picks from here would be the piccatta, or chicken parm pasta. Their New York style pizza is also really flavorful.“

“Was on a trip to the area in April and had dinner at the Shirlington location. I am still telling people about the best eggplant parmesan I have ever had! Everything was excellent! Definitely would recommend to people going that way. I only wish I had picked up something from their shop to bring home with me for another time.“

“I have lived for 28 years on this planet and have had onion rings from an incalculable number of restaurants. I say with complete confidence that Milano's has the perfect onion rings and I can not even imagine any way to improve them. They are big, bready, and crispy with healthy sized onions, just like you would expect from an American grill style restaurant (obviously they aren't an American restaurant, but they do American food very well). But the onion is cooked to perfection and will bite cleanly instead of sliding out and falling apart the first time you rip into it. The outer breading is perfectly fried, but not too oily and maintains its structure. The ability for a kitchen to take a mundane food purchasable anywhere and execute it perfectly is a great sign of a highly skilled staff in my opinion. I live next-door to this place and eat there very regularly. Everything else on the menu is top-notch as well, the whole menu feels very family-recipe style. This is always my go-to spot when I'm feeling sick, it is fantastic comfort food. Their pizza is definitely the best in the neighborhood, although there are a few other joints in Springfield that give them a run for their money.“

“Don't judge a book by its cover. My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Fratelli's on Van Dorn in Alexandria Virginia today. From the outside... yea it looks like a locally owned restaurant no special pomp and circumstance. Inside it's clean and nicely appointed. Then you get to the food and honestly this rivals some of Washington so-called best Italian restaurants which I will not name here, but if you're Washingtonian and you've been here a while you know them well and they're not as stellar as they used to be. The Chef owner Manuel greeted us as my husband ordered his second enteee for lunch Veal Parmesan after having a delectable nice size portion of Lasagna. Yes that right his second entree. He's a big eater. I had the chicken Parmesan. All three entrées were amazing pasta cooked to perfection.... the cuts of veal and chicken, amazing, and the sauce out of this world. They even make their own in-house dressing which we purchased a separate bottle of to go. If you're used to Washington's normal fair of Italian restaurants, and you really want something different and amazing, don't hesitate....just go!“

We received no phone call that the club would be closed.From the carpark, I had to phone around town and re-route our guests to Brothers Encore.The manager Tara was exceptional dealing with me being flustered and fitting our party of 22 in the restaurant. “I ordered wings, boneless wings, fries, and pizza. The wings were very large, meaty, and delicious! The hot buffalo sauce was just the right amount. It could have been a bit spicier but then I love my food SPICY! The boneless wings were delicious and very juicy. The pizza was the best I've had in a while and definitely the best in Burke. Our food was delivered quickly and still hot. Overall it was a very good surprise - definitely exceeded what I was expecting (based on my experience with Pisano's in Alexandria and Pisano's in Bailey's Crossroads). Writing this review has got me craving Burke Pisano's pizza... gotta go and order me one!“

“This is a neat small pizza joint chain that you will find in a small strip mall with limited parking around it. They have tables and chairs set up outside, in teh front of the restaurant that customers can eat at. They also have a very small dining area, with a few tables, that you can eat at as well. It is more like a carryout joint with some seating thrown in. In addition to some traditional and exotic pizzas, they also serve subs, cheesesteaks, sandwiches, salads, wings, fries and a few sweet treats. They also have chips and bottled drinks that you can purchase. The staff there was friendly enough. My interaction with them was limited though. You can make your order online, over the phone, at the counter or use the self serve kiosk. I used the kiosk to order an Island Time Pizza. It was ready in about 10 minutes. I ate it in the restaurant's dining area. It was fresh, hot and very tasty. It had a unique and distinct flavor. I recomend checking this place out for a pie to go or dining in. They have some really unique and exotic signature pies to choose from and they also have the traditional favorites as well. Bon appetite.“

“Havabite eatery has the best chicken souvlaki and gyro sandwiches in Northern Va. We stopped in here not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by how good the meals were. Most other places overcook the souvlaki meat leaving it dry but at Havabite the meat was tender and well seasoned and the bread was fresh and the tzatziki sauce was yummy and creamy. The only improvement would be on the baklava, which was on the dry side. We'll definitely be back for more.“

“We were just there last weekend, and our family has been going to brunch there for many years. We usually have an omelet with home fries and toast or waffles deluxe with eggs, sausage or bacon and have never been disappointed. And note that the homemade baklava and the tiramisu are delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, we are usually waited on quickly and the staff is friendly, warm and responsive.“

“Came in for an order of Chicken Knocci soup for the first in a while. The phone support was great, as was the on-site service. Each representative was attentive, nice, and professional. The greeter opened the door for me with a smile. My wait was about 5-6 minutes past my scheduled pickup, but I didn't mind the wait. I took off a star because they no longer include breadsticks with soup orders. Salads get bottomless breadsticks, as does just about any other Olive Garden meal... except for a $21 bowl of soup. :|“

“This review is exclusively for La Fiamma's Sunday buffet, which is very good. We've been here for the buffet four times now. Though La Fiamma's buffet offering is smaller than most other buffets, its quality is head and shoulders above the rest. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed. Today, service was outstanding with staffers checking frequently to see if we had everything we needed. The buffet includes an omelet bar, salads, typical breakfast items, entrees and a very decent array of seafood options. The dessert table is great with several different cakes as well as fresh fruit. The one thing I would change would be to have vanilla ice cream at the dessert table, not chocolate ice cream which is what was available today. Chocolate ice cream doesn't really go with carrot or devil's food cake. Speaking of the devil's food cake, it is flawless! Still, this our go-to option for Sunday brunch.“

“First of all, I did pickup and I live just 15 minutes away. I did -not- make it inside before trying it. It smelled THAT good. Crust? Incredible. Price? Reasonable. TOMATO SAUCE?? Seriously, the best I've had outside of Duccini's in DC. It tastes like it belongs on a big slice, without the commitment of the big slice. 2 Mediums was more than enough for us but they have the large ones if you're looking for it! Also the staff was super nice and personable right off the bat. I'm so glad I got to try this place before I move away. I'll definitely be coming back. If you're at one of the lounges nearby, it would be a great place to stop in. The interior was really cute too, though a little small if it's busy. “I went here with my pops (Dad) we are from LA and are of Mexican descent. Food was good, my shrimp was slightly over cooked by a minute but no biggy, flavor was there. I'm being picky. There's no chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants and the rice with my dish had peas and carrots, rice was a tan color which from my experience isn't Mexican rice. The pupusa masa came with my shrimp which was bomb. So with that said I think it's more of a Salvadoran restaurant. I haven't had much else but my first experience was good.“

My family really likes it when I take my vehicle in for service. They know I am going to load up on Pizza. I'm from Philly and I am particular about my pizza.
